My daughter got an ipod touch for her birthday last week, my toddler got ahold of it and there a chunck missing out of the top of the screen, will apple replace it?

Reason is the moisture/humidity got into the screen internals through the crack and that is effecting the actual LCD in that area -

IF you do find a backup that has your contacts; I'd /highly/ recommand turning off your wifi network after the restore is finished because if the issue is with your iCloud your contacts may merge back with her's.
With iCloud you DO NOT want to share the account; bad things happen Evil evil thigns...
But in all seriousness; if two devices have the same iCloud; iCloud is told to merge and sync infomation between hte two and can't tell that it doesn't belong to the same person -

i have the ipod touch 4th generation and the screen is white, i was going to charge it and it turned white. I have tried to reset it but the apple logo will not show up and it will not turn on! i just got it for christmas... can you please help?
The way I did it was I got the free app sync:stream from the App Store and then added my ipod to my ps3's Bluetooth devices. Then went to audio settings and set output and input to 'Skaggs iPod' you then open the app and it will be listed under music as a media service. You then go to all tracks and click copy (press triangle) it will then begin to copy all of your songs onto your ps3 via Bluetooth. I haven't tried but I assume the same can be done with photos. My Ipod touch froze and now the screen showa a symbol like a tiny flower. I have tried to re-start it by holding down the on/off switch and the selections key together for 10 seconds but nothing happens. Ithe Ipod does not show on Itunes but shows in My Computer. When plugged into USB the Ipod gets warm.

while I was updating my ipod touch to ios 6 the battery got drained during the process, i tried restoring it, it couldnt now my ipod is stuck on the Apple logo screen.
Can anyone help me with this issue???Connect your iTouch to your PC then open iTunes, if iTunes does not recognize your device, try to hold the SLEEP Button and the HOME button at the same time (iPod Reset) for a couple of seconds until the "Charging Tone sounds, now you should be seeing your device name in the iTunes " Device List". If you do, just click RESTORE and iTunes will automatically restore your iTouch to original set-up and download the iOS6 update.

I got my screen fixed and the day i got my ipod touch 4th gen back the wifi doesnt work unless i hold it right up to my router. Roughly every foot I move back it loses a bar and if i leave the room it doesn't even have a signal completely. Could the screen replacement have tampered with the wifi capability? Also if it helps I switched internet providers and during the time when my ipod was being fixed a new router was installed and it doesnt seem to work unless directly infront of my ipod.
Take it back to where you had the screen replaced. They messed up the connection to the wifi antenna

Why is it not in itunes?
It should always be in itunes and included in your regular backup of your computer.
