I need to get a credit my daughter purchased what she thought was a move. Instead it was a book I would like to get a credit so she can purchase the movie
As Winston Churchill wrote, however you might want to do a factory reset on the Apple TV.
This way all information pertaining to your daughter will be removed from the device. Specifically if see was sign into any of the streaming service, Netflix, Hulu, etc. her credentials will still be associated with this Apple TV, doing a factory reset will remove all that and make it as if you purchased the device and just plugged it in.

iOS is the operating system for iOS devices like the iPhone and iPad. Your Mac runs on OS X. You have installed OS X 10.10.2 Yosemite.
I have the most recent version of the Kindle app for Mac from the Mac App Store (MAS) v. 1.10.6 and it works fine. Look again in the MAS for the Kindle app, does it say Get or Open on the button?
Are you confusing Kindle for Mac with Kindle for iOS. The iOS version won't run on your Mac. -

For the future, note that in many cases a developer makes the basic app available for free as a "trial version" but then charges as an in-app purchase for various features and upgrades. You may wish to disable in-app purchases in the Restrictions in the General settings so that such add-ons can't be inadvertently purchased.

If what you are experiencing does not fall in line with what iCrizzo is saying, you have a problem on your iPad. If however, you realize that you were making multiple purchases within that 15 minute window of entering your password, them that is normal and the way that the system works when purchasing from the App Store, iTunes or the iBookstore on the iPad.

Accidentally merged my iPhone with my partners iPhone library now when she adds new app she is asked for my password, when she restores phone, my apps download onto her chosen wallpaper/phone 5c, she still has her content too, it's like we have two accounts merged into one even our music is one big jumbled mess! please help!?!?!
Yeah we thought about just syncing straight to her itune library... But the problem is she had used her iphone 3gs to purchase a boat load of new music and apps during the past 30 days or so... And those now only show up in my itunes library...
Also - I want to be careful not to wipe out all of my content by syncing her phone with my itunes again... Are there any precautions to take to make sure that the sync ensures content writing to her iphone ... rather than the other way around?

I bought an ipad2 from a private individual for my wife's birthday. When she tries to update an app, she is asked for the former owner's password, which we do not have. How can I fix this so it asks for her apple password?
If the app was bought with the formers owners Apple ID, you cannot update the app with her ID. Apps belong to the ID that was used to purchase them. The former owner should have erased the iPad before he sold it to you and his ID would not be popping up.
If these were apps that your wife bought, then her ID would be popping up, unless I am missing something. -
