My daughter is away at camp and ipod is not working and says it needs to be connected to itunes. She does not have her laptop with her. Can she sync to her itunes on someone else's mac?
Yes, when she plugs it in to another person's mac, tell it transfer purchases, then authorize the computer by going to store, and click authroize computer. If the iPod is in recovery mode
Then I don't think she can have her music apps etc. on there after she plugs it into the computer. If it just needs a charge
When iTunes opens on the computer, quit it, and do not let the iPod sync with the computer, just answer no or ignore to any questions asking if you want to sync.

No, they will give you a refurbished (but basically a brand-new) iPod touch in the same color. I have the Silver as well...sort of kicking myself for not waiting for the Blue one to come back in stock.

How did you install Acrobat, did you install it as a part of Suite installation.
If it is a part of suite then deactivate suite uninstall Acrobat, Reinstall Acrobat using Suite media. Launch Photoshop first and Activate.
Then try launch Acrobat.

I have recently upgraded from my iphone 5 to a new phone. My iphone 5 's touch screen does not work anymore. I need to backup my phone, but I can't do it on itunes without my password. Everything besides the screen is completely fine-the screen will not recognize my finger anymore. I am not trying to fix the phone, but I need to have my contacts. The pictures have already synced, but I need my password to do a full backup. Unfortunately, I can't type in my password. Is there any way around it? If I take my phone to the apple store, will they be able to help me? I am not willing to replace the screen just to do this, however, so that is out of the question.
Someone else may have a workaround, but, as far as I know, if you cannot interact with the screen on the iPhone, there is no way to unlock it so you can get to your contacts.
Were you saving them to iCloud by chance? If so, you can restore them to your new phone.

Hello, I recently brought a new mac and I want to download my purchases into my I tunes. When I go to I store puchases the Download button is not live and says downloaded. They are onto my old computer. How do I get it to download again to my new authorised computer. Thank you for helping
Copy them from your old computer. Copy them from the
back up of your old computer.
Are you logged on under the same Apple ID that you used
to make the purchses? What are you trying to download?
Not all types of media can be downloaded in all locations. -
hi just done some up dates on my i phone three it got half way through sync with my phone then the phone turned of and came back on again with the i tune picture and the end of the usb cable. but my phone is plugged into my computer can anyone help
Try to force your phone into recovery mode. Disconnect it from the computer's USB cord. Turn it off if you can by holding the sleep/wake switch until you see the red slide to off. If you can't turn it off, please continue. Press and hold the home button while plugging it into the computer's USB cord. Continue holding the Home button while iPhone starts up. While starting up, you will see the Apple logo. You can't use Find My Phone unless you activated it on the phone before you lost it.

we have had to reset our computer so any info on there is also erased. my daughter is in tears and I am frustrated. I have tried the basic technical support of resetting (holding the power button and the home key for 10 seconds, etc) nothing is working and we can not connect to itunes.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.
If you previously synced to the computer then you may be able to recovery use of the iPod without erasing the iPod by following the instructions here:

My iPod is not working...I need help!
About a week ago I noticed that the buttons and touch wheel began not working properly on my 1st gen. nano. I keep it on the car adapter/charger most of the time. I took it off a few days ago and the buttons and touch wheel do not work at all. The only way that I can see the screen is if I slide the hold button on and then back to off, however, once the screen lights up I can not do anything with it. I was able to reset the iPod a few times but that did not help....what do I do next?? any help would be appreciated
