My dedault font suddenly changed to one I CANNOT use.I can't change it.it won't do a thing.

I have the newest firefox.I use win.XP pro.the weather here is awful.cold,windy,& snowing.I have FIOS.,and 3 gigabytes of RAM.

If you have made changes to Advanced font settings like increasing the minimum/default font size then try the default minimum setting "none" and the default font size 16 in case the current setting is causing problems.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced: [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

Suddenly mail from one person cannot download into it's folder, why?

I have filters set up and they were working just fine. All of a sudden tonight one folder stopped. It would not download the mail from that person. Somehow her folder got moved as a subfolder of something else. I deleted both folders and recreated them keeping the message filters as they were. Everything else is working fine, I'm still receiving all e-mail from everyone else but from this one sender it is not downloading. The notification sound alerts me and her folder lights up but the message never appears.
Please help how do I fix it?

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

You had to have find my iphone turned on prior to the device being stolen. I would recommend going to icloud.com and signing in. Then tap on the 'find my iphone" app and it should show all listed devices

You don't need a phone port on the iMac. The HP 7300 DeskJet Pro has an internal modem, you connect the printer's modem connection directly to your phone line. Please re-read the install directions that came with the printer.

The font in Safari's bookmarks bar and tabs bar has suddenly changed to a lighter font. How do I change the font back? I'm not speaking of the font size/type in the web browser in viewing web pages, but the font in the application itself has changed. It's rather annoying and would like to be able to change it back! OK, Margie, here's what to do . . .
First Quit Safari.
Then Find your User's (Home) folder library.
It's hidden, but here's how you find the Home Library:
Click on the desktop to get the Finder menu. Then go up to "Go" in the menu bar, while holding down the option key.
You'll now see the User Library in the drop down list. Open it, then look for the Fonts folder.
Take the fonts folder to the desktop.
Restart Safari.
Any better?
(Warning: This is only for the Users/Home > Library > Fonts folder. Under no circumstances, should this be done with the SYSTEM > Library > Fonts folder.)

Font in safari (body fonts on websites) has suddenly changed

Don't think i have done anything to make this happen, but the font has changed when i visit certain websites (including my own site)
It has got smaller, in fact it seems to be using a different font altogether.
My site uses css for the navigation buttons, i use Helvetiaca Neue, it has changed and i can't work out why.

That usually only happens when you've added new fonts, and one is conflicting with your Helvetica Neue. By the way, your site looks very nice to me . . . I cannot see any obvious problems. Have you looked in your Font Book or font manager to see if you can find the rogue font???

Why have the font sizes in my existing emails suddenly changed from uniform to mixed?

All of a sudden the font sizes in my existing emails have changed from the same size to different sizes -- some larger, some smaller. Also, in some cases the font has changed from normal to bold. I used to be able to solve this problem when it happened before by closing and reopening TB, but that doesn't work anymore. I haven't made any changes to the font settings. Any suggestions?

Mac mini server has suddenly stopped seeing one or the other bluetooth devices! Batteries have been changed and they will connect to an older Mac mini. Server will now only see one or the other but not both.

My Mac mini server has suddenly stopped seeing one or the other bluetooth devices, either the wireless keyboard or the mouse( both apple products) have tried new batteries, at first it was the mouse that stopped responding, but upon rebooting the computer now the keyboard will not respond and the mouse works. Both work fine on an older Mac mini that I hooked back up to check.

There is absolutely no reason why they should not bothe be able to connect to your WiFi network. The easiest place to start would be to reboot your router. Unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in again. I would also restart both the iPad and the iPhone.

Sudden change of font settings!?

EDIT: Original problem with orage and other fonts fixed. My current problem relates to Chromium and certain other type in apps like Thunar. Here's a shot of that. The huge fonts are what I want to bring down to my system standard (bitstream vera sans size 8-10)
ED: Now I'm pissed, my openbox menu font has changed to that ugly, big type ><
