My deleted messages are being sent back to my inbox. I do not have virus software.

Every day after I have deleted certain emails they are sent back to my inbox. I do not have virus software so that is not the problem.
Tried to fix this but cannot find any solution.

How often do you compact your folders? You should do that at least once a week (though, I do that every day).

    Your question is almost too much a personal one, begging the question "do we (husband and wife) feel comfy sharing one account on the Mac"   maybe thats why nobody answered you.
    It doesnt complicate anything, but it adds steps for switching accounts on the Mac/ purchases etc. of course
    since your question is mostly personal, ..I wont answer THAT part of it, but creating a new account is easy.....messing with switching back and forth is also a personal preference 'issue' as well.   I prefer to keep things simple, but...........you and yours,  I dont know.......

    Hi Kalyan,
    Make sure that you are enabling "Is Acknowledgment Handled By Integration B2B?" in HOST trading partner.
    Oracle B2B never defaults an IDC from any other business action. Moreover agreement configuration elements are independent of business protocol being used.
    Each and every agreement will have a field "Responding Internal Delivery Channel " but this field appears if you selected "Yes" from the "Is Acknowledgment Handled By Integration B2B?" list when creating a remote trading partner on the Operational Capabilities page.
    This field of agreement is used to select the internal delivery channel to use for responding to (acknowledging) messages.
    Cross-check your business action configuration and corresponding agreement configuration again.
    Please let me know the result.

    Yes, absolutely, you can still use the old ID to update, etc., but I understood the OP to want to simply discard the old one and use only the new one. Maybe I misunderstood...
    And, actually just now re-reading the first post, it could be that the ID had only been associated with the iDevices, so if he established a new ID and associated that with the new MBP, I frankly have no idea if he can still use the old ID on that machine (based on him saying that the old ID is greyed out) - have not come up with this type of situation before.

    Since updating my iPhone 4 to iOS5, it seems my texts are being sent as e-mails or in e-mail form. The person I am texting gets a phone number and not my name.  Also, when I click on contacts to text to, where it used to show the phone number and I would touch the number to text, it just shows the persons name, no phone#.

    Settings > Messages > Send and Received > Uncheck any number/email that does not belong to the device
    Note: The little blue (>) will give you an option to remove the number/email from the device
    Note: Check this setting on any device(s) using the same Apple ID

    Please help! I had to reset my phone today and after I realized my iMessages were being sent from my email.. When I go to change it it does not let me even select my phone number.. Only my email can be checked and unchecked. I have tried everything including talking to costumer support and cannot find anything that has worked! Someone please help!!

    Are you going to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive>Start New Conversations From? If so, then try
    - Turning iMessage off and then back on
    - Signing out of Messages and then signing back in again - click on the Apple ID and then Sign Out, then sign your Apple ID back in again

  • Deleted email is being sent back to me

    This is so strange.
    I have ATT Yahoo mail that I have sent to my mac and read with mac mail.
    This morning I thought I'd clear out some old email so I started deleting things by sender and then I noticed they were returning to my in box. Things that I moved into family and student boxes seemed to also come back to my inbox.
    Another weird thing is that when I select a group of unopened emails and delete them,in the trash they no longer have the blue (unopened) dot .
    I haven't really been paying attention to the number on the icon in the dock that tells you how many unopened mails you have but right now it's at nearly 5000 and I know I never let it get that high.

    I think it's stopped the reimporting so I don't know if I should go ahead and delete the Envelope Index.
    I've been deleting a lot of the emails that were reimported but my problem now is many (not all) emails are now duplicated.
    Do you know if there is a way to delete duplicates?

  • We have two iphone 4s on the same computer and after we did the ios6 upgrade the text messages are being sent to both phones. How do we stop this?

    My wife and I's iphone 4s' are both on the same computer.  When we did the new upgrade to ios6 it started sending text messages to both of us from each other.  For example I sent my wife a text "Hey" and then my phone received a message from Me "Hey."  Another example is that a friend sent my wife a text and both of us received it from that friend, but not in a group message. We both deleted our icloud account and the problem still happened.  Then we checked that we were both signed in to our own personal accounts for imessage and we were.  After turning off imessage the problem went away.  Any ideas on how to make imessage work without having it send messages to both of us?  

    I also have the same problem and changed the send &amp; receive addresses . But it always seems to revert back to 2 addresses/numbers on the second , my wifes phone . Which isn't the best .

    I am on a Galaxy S4. Sending text as usually, recipient gets an email of the text. Is is my settings or theirs? What needs to be changed?

    Are you entering their name from your contact list to send the text?  Or typing in their phone number?  The email may be what's being populated by default when you pull their name from the contact list, if that's how they have replied to you previously, or how you sent your last message to them. Try manually typing in their phone number in the To: field and see if it sends as a text or as an email when you do that.

    The messages do not show up in my Sent folder. Many of them are sent to dead email addresses and the only way I know that this is happening is from the "failure to deliver" messages from the Mail Administrator.
