This could be a result of Automatic Downloads not being enabled or the PC was in sleep mode at the time of download. The best options would be to check for available downloads via the steps in the second article or download the missing media via the steps in the third article below.

In the Music tab of iTunes, do you have 'Include Voice Memos' checked?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and resync
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

I have an HP Officejet Pro 7580 similar to the 8600 you have and after upgrading to Mountain Lion it wouldn't work. HP support site said download updates for Mountain Lion from App Store not their site so I went to software update but there were NO UPDATES FOR 10.8. Tried a million things and could not get printer to work. So I restored back to Lion figuring at least printer worked then only now I can't get it to work with old settings either. I am sick to death of claims by Apple and peripheral manufacturers that everything is compatible all you have to do is get updates well in this case THERE ARE NONE TO BE GOT and I don't have time to **** about trying to find 'work arounds'. There shouldnt be a need for work-arounds. Unless the updates are ready DONT release the new OS. You shouldn't have to be an IT tech to make basic things like printing work. I see also the HP 8600 is even sold by appstore so there is no reason why it shouldn't work with minimum fuss.

You still didn't provide full information. Look at http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/imac/index-imac.html and you will see the number of iMacs that fit your description, all of which have widely varying capabilities.
So going on what I know:
1) Make sure your computer meets Snow Leopard technical specifications - http://support.apple.com/kb/SP575 This mostly means making sure it is an Intel Mac and has at least 1GB RAM (at least 2 GB is recommended). Go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window to "About This Mac". Does it mention "PowerPC" (not Intel), or Intel? To check RAM continue to "More Info...". It should say you have at least 1GB of "memory".
2) Buy a Snow Leopard disc from Apple online

Alternatively you can buy from online retailers but anticipate paying much more than the original price which is the price still charged by Apple
3) Backing up your computer before upgrading is always a good idea.
4) After installing from the DVD, update your Snow Leopard installation using Software Update or manually downloading and installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v.1.1 - http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399

The truly first 20" iMacs will not upgrade to Snow Leopard which is required for iPad4 support.

Itunes says my new laptop (windows 8) isn't authorized to play some of the purchased songs that are already on my iphone (I previously synced it with my old laptop). It says it will delete them from the phone unless I authorize the computer.

This results in an endless loop where I authorize it, and then get the same warning. I have already tried deauthorizing all the computers on the account, and then reauthorizing the new one yet the problem persists. Also, only three devices are associated with the account. I can't find the solution anywhere so help will be welcomed. All songs were purchased through the itunes store and it appears to be older ones that are targeted for deletion; however, these older ones are still available for purchase in the itunes store so that's not the problem. The most common cause for this issue would be media present that is purchased with another Apple ID. When prompted to authorize the computer it may show a different Apple ID. I just tried running the Lenovo Hard Drive Quick Test both in normal mode and in safe mode. Both times it indicated a failed read test on the HDD. The last two tests also failed. I forget what those tests were called.

Try restoring it using Recovery Mode.

I have a new hard drive and itunes and my computer (windows XP) no longer recognise my ipod. I also had the problem with the registry keys not being present but this has now been fixed. However i can no longer link my ipod up with itunes.

When I first tried itunes with my new hard drive there was the problem with the registry keys but something also flagged up about needing a signed driver. After following the instructions, I get the "registry keys missing" problem appear again (which I've subsequently fixed again) and then when I connected the ipod I got the following message - 'Device driver software was not successfully installed'.
I've tried windows update but this doesn't do anything as '...the service is not running'.

You should probably just download the trial version of pse 12 and see if you can live with it.

That being said, have you tried to install pse 1 on your computer?
How much free space is on your hard drive?
Do you have Internet Explorer 10 or 11?
Pse 1 can run on windows 7 x64, provided certain conditions are met.

I don't what happen, but when I got my new computer with the Windows 8 it synched my 4S just fine. Now it keeps saying that the "USB device not recognized." And it won't even connect with itunes.

If nothing helped, repair permissions.
Disconnect the iPhone.
On your Mac open Disk Utility located in HD > Applications > Utilities
Select the startup disk on the left then select the First Aid tab.
Then select: Repair Disk Permissions
This process can take a few minutes.
When it's done, restart your Mac and connect the iPhone.
If that doesn't help, reset the PRAM > About NVRAM and PRAM
