my mini is connected to the wifi network, but is not able to connect to the working internet... can anybody help, please?

192 is local address within your network.
Unless the adddress is of a server that can reolve URL names to ip addresses you wont be able to load an external web page.
You can check what it should be by checking your router status page.
Or if you have an iOS device check under settings, W-Fi, select the network your attched to, then see what is next to DNS.

Since upgrading my iPhone5 to the newest iOS (6.1.2) I can longer connect to WiFi. It sees the wireless network but will not connect.. Other devices in my home that weren't upgraded can connect just fine.

I had the same problem.  I did the reset networks on my iPhone & it did not work.  My husband read somewhere that changing the channel on the router to manual & selecting the highest available channel number might help.  I did that & it solved the problem.  I have not had the problem since.

  • Photosmart 6520 e Windows 7 printer says it is connected to network, but will not print.

I've followed all suggestions in troubleshooting both from manual and on line.  Shut off firewall, unplugged, plugged waited.  Nothing changes.  All printouts from the printer say connected, but will not print and computer detection of the printer says cannot be located.  Help!!

Glad you were able to find the problem. I am sure that the Print and Scan Doctor would have come to the same conclusion Thanks for sharing what the cause was...I am sure others will benefit from it if they also have this issue.

  • My Apple Tv is connecting to the Wifi network but is not connect to the internet.  So when I look for it on my Airplay it doesn't come up.  I have 3 other ones already working on the network and they are all fine.

My apple TV is finding and connecting to the Wifi network but then says it is not connected to the internet and then I cannot find it on the iPad through airplay.  I don't want it connected to the internet (as in www.) because for the use I have I only need to use the Apple tvs locally in a sports hall as scoreboards.  I have 3 others working on the same router and they are working fine (as of yesterday)
On my screen I see (obviously not written like this)
    network connect- yes
    signal strength- fine
    Ip address- fine
    DCN- fine
    Activation- Failed
This is the only negative I can find and the statement that the Apple TV has connected to the wifi but is not connected to the internet.
Where has it gone wrong for me. Please help

It is not properly connected to the network.
Make sure location is set correctly
DNS should be on auto (settings - general - network)
    Try ethernet
Signal strength on device won't account for issues, you would need a network report from istumbler, netstumbler or similar. This will show accurate signal strength along with noise and nearby networks

  • Printer says wireless on, but will not print

We moved our home office to a new location in the house. After re-connecting all devices, the printer appears to be working ( according to its display).  Network test results were "passing". When I opened a doc and tried to print, it would not, telling me printer was not in the network. Went through wireless set-up again entering ISP provider password. Still no printing.
I uninstalled and re-installed the printer. Still won't print. I disabled Norton Internet Security in case it was blocking the process. I downloaded Team Viewer so my son could see if he could assist me, but could not connect to him using it. I tried to download  HPPrint and Scan doctor, but it won't dowload. Any ideas?

    Hi there @MI_OHlady ,
    welcome to the forums
I understand you have moved your printers location and it's not printing through the wireless network.
You mentioned that the Print and Scan Doctor will not download, and this could be an issue on the computer or with the internet connection. Could you try using another web browser and try downloading and running the Print and Scan Dr again? Let me know what the results are from the tool.
Also, try making copies from the front panel of the printer and let me know if they work, or if you see any errors.
I hope to hear from you

  • Photosmart 5520 connect to wireless network but will not connect to internet

My Photosmart 5520 printer connects to my network just fine and prints from all my computers just fine.  But when I attempt to print through ePrint or google print, nothing happens.  When I hit the eprint bottom on the front of the printer, it tells me the printer is not connected to the internet.

Oh, you can check this thread about the same issue

  • D110 will connects to my Dlink wireless router, but will not print

First, I have changed the settings on the Dlink to WAP2 from WEP. This at least allowed the printer to successfully connect to my network. However, the printer does not show in my Network Places.  When I try to print, the document sits in the queue.  In control panel it shows as offline. Also, the wireless button on the printer will only light once in a while when it press it, and the LCD display seems to be stuck on Languages only.
The printer does work if I use the USB connection, but that's not what I want. Any help would be appreciated.
    thanks.

You should not have to nor should you use WEP.  It is not secure.  If you cannot connect to your router, try this first before changing from WPA2:
    1. Make sure your router has updated firmware and a fresh reboot.
    2. Make sure you are broadcasting your SSID and not using MAC filtering.
    3. Make sure 802.11g is present and set it to use channel 1 or 11.
If that does not work, change from WPA2 to WPA.  Do not use WEP.

  • Prior to putting a password on my Airport Extreme my laptop pc had access to the internet. With the passwaord it will connect to the base station but will not got to the internet. Help!

I think I have tried everything but it's not working. Sooo I guess there are several other things that I need to do.

The user manual for the Speedstream 5200 indicatest that it is a router....see link below.
    http://www2.windstream.net/downloads/links/SpeedStream211.pdf
If the Speedstream is acting as a router, then the AirPort Extreme must be configured in Bridge Mode to avoid having two routers in series on your network....which would certainly cause IP address conflicts and connection issues.
To configure the AirPort Extreme in Bridge Mode.....
Open AirPort Utility - Click Manual Setup
    Click the Internet icon
Connection Sharing = Off (Bridge Mode)
    Update

my deskjet 3050 j610a isn't connecting to the network in my house.  I've tried about everything and it still not connecting.  It's a wireless printer and it's not connecting to either my desktop or my laptop.  what do I do now?

Select  ▹ System Preferences ▹ Network. The WiFi connection should be at the top of the list on the left, and selected. Click the button labeled Assist me and select Assistant. Follow the prompts. How far do you get?

  • My ipad recognizes my home network but will not connect to the internet. When I click on AirPort/preferences at the top of the imac screen it says..."AirPort has a self-assigned ip address and may not connect to the internet".How can I change ip address?

My ipad recognizes my home network but will not connect to the internet. When I click on AirPort/preferences at the top of the imac screen it says..."AirPort has a self-assigned ip address and may not connect to the internet". If this is the root of the problem, how can I change ip address?
Ipad will connect no problem to other networks.

First thing you need I think is to get your iMac connected to the Internet.
Shut down your iMac and you iPad. Then power off your router. Wait 30 seconds and power up the router.
After the router indicates that it is connected to the Internet then start up your iMac and see if it connects. If the iMac connects to the Internet then your iPad should too.
If this power up sequence doesn't work you'll have to dig into the router setup to make sure it is working properly.

    Try:
    - A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on your router

Change your router channel.  Sometimes this is all you will have to do.
Power cycling the router.  Read the router's user manual or contact their tech support for instructions.
    System Preferences/Internet & Network/Network
    Unlock the padlock
    Locations:  Automatic
    Highlight Airport
    Click the Assist Me button
In the popup window click the Diagnostic button.
System Preferences/Network- Unlock padlock.  Highlight Airport.  Network Name-select your name.  Click on the Advanced button.  Airport/Preferred Networks-delete all that is not your network.
Place a check mark next to "Remember networks this computer has joined."  Click the OK button and lock the padlock.  Restart your computer.
