My device screen is magnified 75x

My iPhone 5 on ios8 has remained on a screen display magnification  after messing with the magnifier. display is  about 75x bigger than normal I cant get anything done because of the huge font sizes on the display screen, and it wont seem to go away. I have tried going to reset, but cant get far with the size of the display, I have asked siri to restor, but to no avail.

Hello Tunday,
You can double tap the screen with three fingers to zoom out. Once that is done, you should be able to navigate to Settings > General > Accessibility to turn off the Zoom option. Take a look at the article below for more information.

  • What causes the screen to magnify when using wireless mouse in Safari?

Sometime when clicking the mouse in Safari the screen will magnify.  Why?

Check your Magic Mouse preferences. There's a preference for zooming the screen in Safari similar to the double tap zoom for iOS devices. You can change that configuration.

  • "No bootable devices" screen after Windows 7 Boot Camp failure.

As a lifetime Windows user, I thought that it would not be such a bad idea to install Windows 7 via Boot Camp Assistant.  The process went smoothly until I reached the 3rd and final section of the procedure titled "Install Windows 7 or Later Version."  I adjusted the MacOS and Windows partitions and proceeded to the final reboot.  It is then where I was greeted with a Windows 7 screen tht stated something along the lines of "No bootable devices. Insert boot disc and try again."  I have tried the Boot Camp Assistant (Same exact steps I used initially) and have yet to defeat the dreaded No Bootable Devices screen.  I would really enjoy having Windows on my device so any help would be GREATLY appreciated.  Thank you!

Hmm, I had an 8 GB flash drive connected to the compter at all times.  When just using the "Install Windows 7 or later version" feature, shouldn't the flash drive be conncected throughout the duration of the procedure?  And I may not be using the correct vocabulary but when I was referring to "adjusting the partitions" I meant the section of the procedure where the user selects how much hard disk drive space is granted to each OS.  The response is much appreciated!

  • Screen is magnified after viewing movie on television.

Screen is magnified after viewing movie on television.  It automatically goes larger when connecting to TV and usually goes smaller when disconnecting .  This time it has remained large.

It's normal that the things on the screen will change size when you change resolution.  A 64x64 icon on the desktop will be a very different size at 800x600 than at 1280x960.
You didn't say which MacBook Pro you have, so I don't know what the native resolution of the screen is (ie, the number of physical pixels in the screen), but it will be whatever the highest resolution is (bottom of the list, biggest numbers).

  • Why system log information is displaying on bottom of device screen?

    Hi All,
    I have 8220 device. OS is 4.6.0.293. Platform 4.1.0.100.
It always display the system log information on device screen.
    is this RIM know issue?
    Thanks.

I remember this happening once here.  When you get an exception, you get a display on the screen, that has the option 'Continue'.  If you press the space bar, it will take you through some other options, one of which is debug, and this will put this on the bottom of the screen.  I suspect this is what has happened in your case.  However you are now going to ask me how to turn it off.  I can't remember.  Sorry.   I'll think about it.

  • How do I get out of the "no bootable device" screen?

I am doing a clean install of both operating systems and successfully deleted the windows partition, and reinstalled the Mac partition. When I got boot camp assistant started and it restarts to prepare installing windows, I am faces with the "no bootable device" screen. It says to insert a boot disk. Currently the Mac snow leopard disk is in the drive (in order to access certain disk utility functions, etc) but I can't get the disk out. I've tried force ejecting in every way and it won't eject.
So I try to boot back into the Mac partition by holding down option/alt, and it doesn't work. It just goes straight to the same no bootable device screen. How do I get out of this? Every suggestion I've seen is to hold down option and boot into Mac and I can't do that. It's almost like the keyboard does NOT respond at all while in the boot up process, can't force eject by holding keys, can't boot into anything by holding keys. Solution?

an update on this in case anyone else runs into this problem. it turns out the mac os x install disk got rubbed the wrong way or something and was mucking up my entire computer by just being in the drive. i couldn't get it out, so i took  it down to geek squad and they forcibly removed it.
after that i was able to hold down option and get into the mac partition i created earlier, which i wasn't able to do with that disk in the drive.
now i can most likely get back to installing windows on my partition, however the drivers are located on that install disk...so i'm going to be looking for ways to get around that.

  • Help please. my iphone screen is magnified

hi, for some reason my iphone 4 screen is magnified. if anyone know how to fix this please help >.< thank you

If you have trouble turning Zoom off from your phone, connect the phone to iTunes, click the Summary tab, and click the "Configure Universal Access..." button. Select neither under the "Seeing" section and click "OK".

  • When syncing any device, the device screen appears, but there is no text.  How can I fix this?

When I connect my phone, iTunes shows the device.  When you go to the device screen where you would see the serial number and the check boxes of what you're syncing, there is no text.  The Sync and Apply buttons are there but no wording.  The check boxes are there, but no wording next to it.  So you don't know what you're syncing.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, but it still doesn't work.  And it happens with all 5 devices that I sync.

That generally indicates trouble with the Segoe UI fonts on your system, shannon.
Unfortunately, it's a bit trickier to deal with on Windows 7 than other Windows operating systems. (The instructions by Vortical that usually fix it on Vista and XP can't be applied on a Windows 7 system.)
Try having a look through the following (unfortunately rather long) topic for discussions of possible causes of the issue on Windows 7 systems, and possible treatments for the various font-related issues on Windows 7:

  • That application could not be lanched for debugging. ensure that the target device screen is unblock and that the application in installed

    what is the problems?

Hi windows phone app can not debugging,
    >>that application could not be lanched for debugging. ensure that the target device screen is unblock and that the application in installed.
Based on the error information, it seems that you are trying to deploy the application on the Windows Phone Device. Then what Windows Phone OS are you using? Can you run
the application by using the Windows Phone Emulator?
For deploying the application on the Windows Phone Device, first please try to make sure you have registered your phone for Windows Phone development. For more information, please refer to:
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/ff769508(v=vs.105).aspx .
After that please try to make sure that phone screen is unlocked and the project you want to run is set as the default Startup project.
Besides, please try to refer to the following article about how to deploy and run apps on a Windows Phone device:
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/library/windows/apps/ff402565(v=vs.105).aspx#BKMK_device .

  • Capture device screen

    Hi all,
We need to capture device screen using j2me,similar to Print Scrn key of keyboard.
can any one help me to do this???
    thanks in advance
    m.raj

Does the Displayable you want to capture extend Canvas? If so, you could create a mutable image and invoke the paint(...) method with the Graphics context of the image.
If you're talking about capturing a screen that isn't part of your MIDlet application, AFAIK that can't be done (and shouldn't be allowed).

  • Application launch failed. Ensure that the device screen is unlocked - after the phone update

I have the following error "
Error    1    Application launch failed. Ensure that the device screen is unlocked and device is developer unlocked. For details on developer unlock, visit http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=195284.         0    0
I'm pretty sure it happened after the last update. I was able to use my phone as a dev one before
and my account shows it as a registered device.
    The OS version is 7.10.8107.79.
    The steps that I tired
-Registered again my phone with the registration tool
-Check the issue with Zune auto-launcher (zune isn't syncing and the phone is connected)
    -Close and start everything again
    Other possible issues
    - Do I have to have sdk 7.1 to deploy?
    - Do I have to wait 24h for registration?

You should be using SDK 7.1 anyway, so install that.
After the update, the phone may have locked itself.  This may not be reflected in your AppHub account though.  Using the Developer Registration Tool, register the device, unregister it, then register it again.

  • Screen stuck magnified

Daughter was watching a movie and brushed the screen which magnified everything. She pushed the home button to try and fix but now the screen is stuck in the magnified way. I rebooted but it just popped back up in the magnified way.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

if I disable zoom does that mean I can zoom on ANY programs like pictures / web pages etc?
Disabling Zoom disables the three-fingered double-tap zoom. Applications that zoom by spreading two fingers (such as Mail, Photo, and Safari) will still zoom by that method.
