My dialog windows appear off the screen...please help

Many of my dialog windows such as paragraph styles, or when I place items appear off the screen (I see the bottom of the window, but not the top which means I cannot move them around) - Any suggestions?

I am having the same issue. I am using CS6, and my 'Effects' box is off the screen and unusable. I have tried resetting the workspace, changing the workspace, restarting the program, rebooting the system, switching between multiple and single monitor....all with no effect. The dialog box is always in the same place; in the upper left of the screen. Any further help would be appreciated.
Mac OS X 10.8.2
InDesign CS6 with the latest updates
15" MacBook Pro Retina
FIXED: As soon as I posted this, I had a thought. While that dialog box was active, I went to System Preferences>Displays>Gather Windows. May or may not work for original poster.

Hi, johann, maybe u can try hard resetting = press home button and sleep button at same time for over 5 seconds, if u see an apple logo then, the iPhone maybe can restart, then u can do a charge for yr iPhone.

Just updated to Maverick and now I cannot open any of my applications on my Airbook. It shows the program running but no windows appear on the screen. Help!!!

Any ideas as to why the applications do not open in a window?

Is an external display connected and turned off? If not, open Mission Control. Do you see the window(s) in any other spaces?

MacBook Pro Display (window) shifts off the screen when I move my mouse

With a slight move with my magic mouse, my entire open window will shift completely off the screen with only a part of the window still visible. I have to click on the exposed edge of the window for it to shift back into place. It's only the window of the program that I have open that moves. The dock and the desktop image stays in place. I'm using an HP external monitor now but it was doing this before I hooked up the monitor. I've tried maximizing and minimizing my window but that does not seem to have an effect. Could it be the magic mouse? Thanks in advance for any help.

Wow. The power of Google is truly amazing. Just a little while ago, my husband was going nuts with our computer. I googled the words 'when I move my mouse to the left, the screen moves to the right'. And, Eureka! What do you think was the first thing that popped up on Google?

The entire window went off the screen to the right, can see icon at bottom but when I click on it it zips off to the right.

I was working in Firefox and clicked on something which made the entire window flash off to the right, unable to be seen. The Firefox icon is available at the bottom but when I click it, it sends the screen off to the right. Click on icon again and it will take it from "off the screen" back into the icon. I tried restarting with no change. It only affects one user on the computer.

Software window slid off the screen - can no longer access this software

I cannot acces my Filemaker Pro database.
When I open the database, the window has slid off the screen, only the bottom is visible.
I cannot pull it back on the desktop, I cannot see the fields.
How can I get it back on the desktop?

I also tried the "assign to" desktop trick, but "assign to" is grayed out.

Do you have a Magic Mouse or Trackpad? I so, open System Preferences, select the appropriate tab (Mouse or Trackpad) and select More Gestures. Turn off Swipe between pages.

When i start firefox double clicking the short cut icon, it runs in the processes but the user interface window does not comes up in the screen,please help.

in my laptop,i generally use windows xp, due to some problems i repaired the window, after some days without any notice the above problem starts. but internet explorer 8 shows up with a perfect window, but a bit slow in every respect compared to firefox. above all if i start the window in safe mode firefox runs perfectly.please help, i ve tried every possible way(installing different anti-viruses, acessing through set program and defaults).

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

Try closing the Camera app completely and see if it works properly when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Camera app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Camera app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work also do a reset (unless this is what you mean by powering off and restarting) : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Please help, I repaired an iphone 5c and have now tried two different lcd screens on it but all I get is a black screen or a black screen with a vertical blue line on the left hand side of the screen. I definitely have the cables connected properly etc and before I repaired it the phone had a cracked screen and there was a picture on it.
I have tried hard reset and nothing. I have tried connecting to iTunes but it asks me to confirm on the iPhone which I can't do as there is nothing on the display. I have tried randomly pressing all over the screen but it doesn't work. So I can't even try restoring it on iTunes.
Please help any advice will be appreciated! I successfully have repaired iphone 4's and iphone 5 before but this is the first iphone 5c.

In BI Report Output displays following warning message along with Report Output
Warning Messages : (
Characteristic Organizational Unit has no master data for "00000000" or you do not have authorization
An invalid selection for characteristic Organizational Unit has been discarded )
Please help me by providing the inputs what might be causing this issue.
So that I can resolve this.
Organizational Unit(0EMPLOYEE_0ORGUNIT) is present in selection screen of report.
Orgaizational unit(0EMPLOYEE_0ORGUNIT) is the attribute of Employee.
First when I got this warning messages I found that master data for 0employee was loaded but not for loaded for 0orgunit
So I loaded the data for 0orgunit (attr, text and hierarchy) and Then again loaded for 0Employee
Then I run attribute change run for 0EMPLOYEE and 0ORGUNIT
I thought this would resolve the issue
After doing the above steps also I am still getting same warning message
