My iPhone 5s will not rotate to landscape when turned. Did I change a setting accidentally? Correction?

IOS7: Screen Orientation (Rotate)
Swipe UP from the bottom edge of the screen to see the Control Center, tap the top right icon next to the Crescent to lock/unlock screen orientation.
Test with Calendar, Calculator, Messages apps.

Sounds like you may need to repair the Disk Permissions on your drive where your images are stored.

Took my phone to the Apple store this week and they told me it was a hardware/screen malfunction. They replaced the screen for free since it was under warranty. Now it works fine again!

Do you have the Lock Screen switch in the wrong position? It's the switch on the right side just above the volume switch. Try moving it to the opposite position to see what displays on the screen. If the rotate arrow displays, then you are good to go....

PPC all of the sudden will not file share, what can I do?

I have a PPC G5 OSX 10.4.11 all of the sudden I went to connect to my MacBook Pro with file sharing and I can not. I can see the MacBook in my network area and when I hit connect it lets me put in my password and then I try to click on the folder to mount it and my finder freezes. I relaunch the finder but still get the spinning wheel of death over the network window. I have looked online and all the forums say I have to reinstall my OS but there has to be another way, can anyone help? I also try to open my "file share" option on my PPC but it will not do that either. Thanks in advance.

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move these files to the Desktop.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)

IMove all of a sudden will not open on Mac Pro

iMovie will not run on my MacPro. It has in the past. The window I get says that it requires a graphics card that is compatible with Quartz Extreme. One or more of your graphics cards does not support Quartz Extreme. What? It runs fine on my Mac Book Pro and even my old imac. Any ideas? I am stumped. I have not changed my graphics cards in my MacPro so why won't it run? Any help will be appreciated.

Having the same problem with it either not opening, freezing on opening, or opening and then half of the clips are missing, won't display, projects are missing, etc. Tried all of the fixes listed here to no avail. I've been searching all over the iMovie 08 forum and this problem is posted in several different threads. It appears to be a growing problem for users of 10.5.3. One post had you throw out a preference file, I tried that too but nothing in any of these posts is working. Any other ideas?

It is impossible to use your iPod if it won't charge, so I would be concerened too. I found an article with steps to take when your iPod is not being recognized by the computer or not responding.
I recommend following the steps in the sections titled "Your iPod doesn't respond, won't turn on, or the display remains blank" and "iPod doesn't appear in iTunes, on the desktop, or in Windows Explorer" in the following article:

Why all of the sudden will not print from email or phone - no problems before

I have had no problems with my new web enabled printer from day one. Infact I fell in love with it. I haven't printed anything on it for a few days now and all of the sudden it won't print. I am connected to the internet and it shows being online but nothing. Can't print emails or phono's from my phone. I have double checked everything and it won't work.

I forgot to mention - according to my emails and the notice I recieved it says the mail has been delivered to my printer and it is waiting to print.

If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Iphone 3GS all of a sudden will not charge!

I'm hoping to possibly get an solution to the following problem. I haven't seen too many of people posting about this problem.
I've had my Iphone 32 gig 3gs for about 3 months. Everything has been working great. It has good battery life, syncs with itunes, charges with the OEM wall charger and charges on my iMac. I have the latest 3.1 firmware installed on it.
I usually plug the iphone into the charger when i got to sleep and when I wake up, its at 100% battery life. A couple days ago, I woke up and the battery life was at 52%. I thought it was odd. I tried to charge it again using a different wall outlet, a different usb cable, through my imac, using my belkin FM car adapter. No luck. Finially, the phone just ran out of batteries and now its a brick.
I tested the usb cable and wall charger on my old ipod nano and it worked perfectly. I tried to plug the phone into my imac and reboot the computer. I was able to put the phone into DFU mode. I could reinstall the firmware, but after that was done, the iphone didn't boot.
Now, its to the point where the the red battery light with the plug-in and lightning log doesn't even appear on the phone anymore when i plug the phone in.
I think it could be either 1 of 2 things. The logic board that allows charge to go to the battery got messed up, or it might be some software glitch. The iphone functioned normall from 52% down to 0%. It just refused to charge and now is out of juice.
Anyone out there have a similar issue? If so, did you end up finding a solution? Your help is appreciated. Thanks!

The same problem here, the phone does not charge when connected to the wall or to the computer. I get this message on windows vista: "USB device not recognized. One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it..."
My phone works if it is connected to the USB port thougt...
I reinstalled Itunes, restarted Iphone application services on Windows, I use the original wire and charger.
My phone worked fine yesterday on the morning...

Converting to Excel why will not format to landscape when original is landscape formatted

Is the lack of this feature problematic for others? How resolved?

I'm sorry to hear that your files aren't converting as you expect. How were the PDF files created? It sounds as though they may have been generated by a third-party app (a non-Adobe app), and they don't contain the tagging information necessary to convert the file in the format as the original Excel file.

Later phones have a physical rotation lock switch. Your has a control on a screen that can be accessed by doing the following.

Be sure Orientation Lock is disabled. Swipe up from above the Home button to reveal Control Center, then tap on the padlock icon at the far-right corner in the top row so that it's NOT white/light. Only certain Apple apps (like Messages and Safari) will work in landscape mode. Third-party apps depend on the app itself and if the app is setup to work in landscape. The Home screen will not rotate to landscape on the iPhone 5, 5s or 5c despite any settings.
