My display gets FUNKY!!

Hello Apple community
hope you guys are all excited with the news of this iPad but unfortunately i have an issue with my computer or display that doesnt seem to get fixed. This is a picture of whats going on: http://img638.imageshack.us/img638/1032/img0329d.jpg
Basically I go in the other room eat my dinner come back my computer is asleep so I wake it up. I dual display with my laptop open and plugged into the external 24" LED display. When I come back and wake it from sleep the display on the LED goes funky like in the picture while the laptop looks fine. A simple restart fixes it but its happened many times now and Apple doesnt seem to know what to do. Got the display replaced got the laptops logicboard, display and RAM replaced and hard drive reformatted (supposedly all these things were replaced anyways) and its still doing it so if anyone knows whats going on or have advice on how i should proceed with apple let me know im sick of spending hours on the phone and driving an hour to the closest store and still not have it fixed after a few months of this.

They can provide some kind of way towards this solutions...
eg:
1) Accept my UK iPhone in India courier it to Purchased Place (Repaired it)
2) Accept my UK iPhone in India Take some difference assign me India iPhone.
3) Accept my UK iPhone in India give me any option to ugreade to iPhone 5 (Indian).
4) Accept my UK iPhone in India give me some Receipt (Courier me My new iPhone from UK).
5) Approve my VISA for going to UK again as it not easy for INDIAN to go there with some kind of this Reason.
6) Give the Postal Address where we can send our APPLE to get only Service and they can send it back to us if it got reparied.
As no one would like to go UK only to Purchase APPLE..
There are some personal reason they have to go to Other countries for ... and If some one is FAN of APPLE like me would do the same mistake that I have done..
7) If the APPLE wanted to serve their customer they would have get to the solutions with their excellent mind.
As far as I am concern I am just the USER of my FAV APPLE but.. .. I guess this policy would not keep me as the SAME FAN of APPLE as I am now...
If this is not going to get solved I guess I have to start with other BRAND Like SAMSUNG S4 where I can get everything in my STATE..
But YEH it not a right was to have this BAD policy.
I just dont know why they are not coming ip with great solution for this issue in this tecnology world.

MBP in lid closed mode, will the display get to hot?

i run my MBP in lid closed mode all of the time, as i have a Cinema Display hooked up. i'm not too worried about the MBP overheating, but i was wondering about the display getting extra hot from the MBP when it's closed. i do have a radtech microfibre cloth on top of the keys as protection...
should i be concerned?

I'm interested in this issue too, as I intend to get an MBP but use it with an external screen and keyboard most of the time.
I'd also like to know about ventilation - where does the cooling air come from and go to? What parts need to be kept clear, and which bits can I have up against or close to a bookshelf or hutch or whatever?

Page display gets weird while two-finger scrolling

For the last few days, whenever i'm scrolling with two fingers in safari, the page's display gets very disrupted....numerous white rectangles appear and disappear quickly over the page's content, returning to normal when scrolling ceases. This happens on every page of website, about 80% of the time on any given page. Sometimes it won't do it once i've scrolled over that area once. Restarting my MBP doesn't change anything.
Yesterday, though not today, safari would only load a page if I clicked onto another application and clicked back on safari. totally bizarre.

nowhere in this thread has anyone suggested zapping the PRAM, which is a much more extreme measure than trashing a finder and system preference. i mean, if it doesn't work and you lose your settings, you can always take the file back out of the trash and put it back. with a pram zap, you can't go back. so, i can't see any reason for you to not trash those two prefs since that's what worked for me. as a rule, always trash prefs before zapping pram. and do a permissions check while you're at it for good measure.

Display getting distorted

For the past month or so, I started seeing this problem of screen display getting distorted. It will display patches several places. I have been using this MBP for almost 6 months or so.
This happens primarily when I work with graphic intensive applications, like i photo, google earth, imovie, etc. It happened few times with Pages and other editors also.
Once this happens, either kernel panic or the machine freezing is guaranteed.
I tried to call Apple care twice, both the times waited for 45 mins before it disconnected automatically .

T530 Display gets black for seconds

I use my T530 with two monitors with extended desktop. The external monitor is the main display.
Since I updated to Win8.1, at irregular intervals (seconds or minutes) both displays gets black for a second, all windows are moved to the laptop-display for a short time and then back to the main display.
It´s extremly annoying and it is not possible to use the monitors seperate.
Sometimes there is a message, that the GPU is ready to save energy.
All drivers are current and from the lenovo homepage.
Has anybody an idea?

Do you have an Apple Care extended warranty because it sounds like the begining of inverter failure. If it is a bad inverter, that is a hardware failure and can't be fixed with software.

When i scrolling down/up in safari the display gets brighter and blurs little bit!(macbook pro 2012, 3days old)

when i scrolling down/up in safari and firefox the display gets brighter (for instance when the screen and texts in a page is blue it gets light blue and little blurs by scrolling) and when i stop scrolling the screen gets plain.

If it is only blurring on the words and not the stationary dock then it is because the screen does not have a great response time.

Mac book pro with retina display gets hot

I have noticed lately that when using my macbook pro with retina display gets really hot when using it - I dont think tis is normal. Or is it? I have had it less that a year and use if for photography editing.

What is hot? Heat in a MBP will be a function of the applications used and the stress that they place on the CPU/GPU.
If you can provide actual temperature data using Temperature Monitor from Bresink.com or iStat pro and an image of Activity Monitor, then an evaluation can be made if there is an issue. Note that Activity Monitor should be set to 'All Processes' and '%CPU' to display values from high to low.

I have to desagree its not normal !!! be advised

Open up activity monitor and under all process, see how much dock is using. highlight it and hit quit process.
since you're already at activity monitor, hit quit process on anything else using more than 10% of your CPU's resources.
see if your Retina runs cooler once you've done that.

The iPad Display gets dark in the sun

When using my iPad (1) outdoor the Display gets darker after a while. Is this usual behaviour of an LCD Panel?

X6 display gets stuck / frozen

I' ve faced this problem lately where X6 device touch display gets stuck, and no touch input is possible. Usually this happens when the phone has been idle or in the pocket for a while, i'd say once in 2 days. Physical keys still seem to be working. I need to disconnect the battery to get the display working again. Timewise this started happening after last firmware update.(V 30.0.003) (Not sure about first incident, cannot remember.) Anyone else suffering with the same problem.
Should i take my device to Nokia maintenance?

Display gets blank and macbook sometimes restarts unexpectedly

while using my macbook pro some disturbances happened in the screen and it restarts. after it restarts, the apple logo get disappeared and the screen stands in white colour without any change for a long time. Then I shut it down using power button and then restarts it same thing happens again. After 2 or 3times with the same process it restarts. Does anybody know what will be the reason for this problem?
Also, sometimes when I tried to get it off from sleeping mode, the screen remains in off mode but laptop is still running. This time also I am forced to do the above procedure.
Along with this, the display get freezes randomly while watching videos in some video players as well as in internet.
I recently upgraded my OS to mavericks 10.9.4 and I made a partition for windows 8.1. I am afraid that this may be the reason for this problem.

Version 7.0.1 gets HUGE, the display gets skewed and then the system (XP Pro) locks up!

Computer is a Lenovo T500, running XP Pro. Since version 7.0.0 Firefox grows HUGE to the point where the display gets skewed and the system is locked and then unlocked.
I have to kill Firefox in order to clear up the problem -- then it starts all over again. I have seen it grow to well over 1,400,000 KB of memory usage-- and more!
It was working fine on the Firefox 5 versions.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

Display getting wholes in rMBP Mid 2014

My macbook pro retina 13" 2014 model has had something happen to the display, Basically I was at school, going between classes and noticed in my last class 6 dead looking pixels. Upon closer inspection I noticed that they are actually punctured wholes in the display. Behind them is a little dot. When I got home I instantly reported this to apple support and I asked if this is covered by warranty, He said Yes it is covered then gave me a number to call, But they we're closed on the day of report. So the next day I took the computer back to school to find that there were now 20+ of these all over the screen. I called the number to look at it getting fixed I asked if it would be covered again, just to make sure. The guy said "Depending on what the problem is" Well, I have done nothing to cause this. Its like the pixel has exploded and broken the display in some way, but it has kept happening. These wholes are very small, but they draw my eyes to them so im getting it sent in so it won't happen again. The problem is will this be covered? Because I paid $1,650 NZD for this and it shouldn't be happening under 3 months after purchase. Ive been told they remove the whole lid making it cost over $800, so I would not be able to pay for this and its likely to keep happening.

There's a 95% chance that this has nothing to do with you using it, but Apple can't testify it's their fault if they haven't seen the device yet. Bring it to an Apple Store or send it to them so that they can look it up.
