I want to know why I am always asked which program to use when I want to open a DTF file. I entered the right program and it will open it but the box do this automatically will not allow me to check. How can I add that extension to my options Applications menu? When I used IE, it would remember the extension.

All I get in the Firefox info box is that an update is available, with a link that I have to follow to download the installation file and install it manually. No difference even if I wait for weeks, the update is neither downloaded nor installed automatically. The problem persists in all Firefox versions since version 3.6.16 / 2011 (the last update in the chronicle). Note that the automatic update seems to perform well in the Windows XP mode of my Windows 7 system !

That would be it. Sometimes you can tweak the album & artist names enough for iTunes to download matching art from the store, or you could add a bonus track featuring 1 second of silence and attach artwork to that, or you could convert the files to Apple Lossless.

Because of the sparse storage format of the Backups.backupdb directory, the Finder thinks the directory is much larger than it actually is. In fact, in many cases, such as mine, it thinks that it is MUCH larger than the physical drive on which it resides.
For example, I have a 1TB drive and the Time Machine directory claims to be more than 5TB. When I go to copy it over to another 1TB drive it says that it cannot execute the copy because the size is too large and there is not enough room. Although there actually is enough room.
In any case, the procedure outlined in this memo ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT WORK.

Try running Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] and see if that helps!

You may want to try force closing all open apps and resetting the device as an initial troubleshooting step. Take a look at the articles below for more information.

Yes, if you have been backing up on a regular basis.
If this is your first time backing up, then no.
you can check edit - preference - backup - see what is listed

Well the error message is in Swedish but says: The installation program database is damaged. Please contact the Adobe support (which is a hard thing to do!!). I use Windows 7 Home Premium with service pack 1.

A coworker just got a new computer.
Windows xp pro service pack 1
cs 14.0.0
File associations for .eps and .ai are Illustrator cs4.
Double clicking on a file (.eps .ai) does work
Dragging a file to illustrator does work
However...
File>Open does not work
File>Place does not work
Deleting the aiprefs file has no effect.
I also copied my aiprefs file to her computer, also no good.
Also reinstalled Illustrator, no effect.
Any ideas? Maybe something to do with xp, or the lack of service pack updates?

Updated windows to service pack 3 and it seems to have fixed all.

I have cleared cache and cookies, uninstalled both Firefox and the helper,that has not corrected.When Firefox does an update are the "vendors notified so they can see if their product needs changes in order to be compatible? This may sound like a stupid ?, but it makes sense tome. Telling me to download something else, in my eyes is not REALLY solving the problem.

Don't uninstall 36. Just download and install 35 over top and you don't lose any data. I already did and everything works just fine. But I did remove VDH first.

What is wrong with THE iPad Home button. Only a couple of months old. Moderate use at most and the Home button does not work at all. Is this easily sorted out or should the iPad be replaced?

Bring it to a Store. Hardware problems are best sorted out there. Until then use multi-touch-gestures. HOpe this helps.

Proportional Scaling with bounding box does not work

Problem:
When I attempt to proportionately scale objects with the bounding box, by selecting a corner / handle and holding Shift as I drag, it doesn't work.
I'm not doing it wrong or in the wrong order of selection, etc., I've done it this way for years.
Also, Illustrator is persnickity. It HAS occasionally worked, but more often does not.
Restarting Illustrator, my computer, closing Entourage, nothing works.
I read this thread and none of the suggestions work.

We have two boxes! The one in our family room has never worked properly. We have even had it replaced. Still no proper remote control usage. We have a ,"50 inch Panasonic Plasma" hooked up to Fios. We were told at the initial installation that our TV emits a signal that interferes with the remote. We have had our Panasonic checked out by the authorized factory representative as well as contacted Panasonic regarding this problem. They both have assured us that our TV emits NO signal that would interefere with the remote. I have a friend who lives close by who has the same type of TV as us, and he experiences NO PROBLEM. Nor do we have any issues with our living room TV. So, can you help us?

Well, it should be easy to determine where the problem probably is:
1) Turn off the TV, leave the STB on. Now does the remote work properly on the STB? If yes, then, no matter what Panasonic says, the TV is emiting a signal that is interferring. This is usually caused by your having a setting in the TV that causes the TV to try to sense the ambient light in the room - the setting is usally labeled Vivid, or Light Sensor On, or something like that. If you search here on the Forums you will find multiple threads documenting this issue.
2) If the STB doesn't work in 1) above, with the TV still off just to be sure, try using the remote from the other STB. Does it work properly? If so, the original remote is bad. If not, then the STB is probably bad. I realize you said that the STB had been replaced, but are the symptoms the same or different?
Now, when you say it "has never worked properly", what do you mean? Key presses are ignored, slow response, what? Please be specific, nobody can help without more detail. And what model STB is it?
