My downloaded tv shows will not show up on iTunes
I bought a season of heros last night and this morning I only see 20 out of 23 episods that are listed under my iTunes. Then I look on support and it asked me to go to Stores menu and then click on "Check Purchases" which I did, and it tells me that all purchases havebeen downloaded to my computer. Any idea what should i do from now? Thank you
Version 11.1.5.5 of iTunes was just released today. If you update to that, does that help with the recognition troubles?

I have an iPod 4s and I am trying to update to IOS 6.1.6. I keep trying to download but it will not allow me to click download and install. I have checked my storage and I have more than enough storage space available. Do you guys have any suggestions?
The only available, signed, iOS, for your iPod, is iOS 7.1. That's why you can't install iOS 6.1.6.

Uninstall the previous version (without removing your customizations) before installing the new version.

Are you on a slow Network Connection? I would recommend you to Clear the browser Cache and History and then try again or try using a different browser on a different Network Connection.

Sure, you can get around it if you don't need the newest version of iTunes. I still use version 7.5 because the newer versions didn't strike me as offering anything I needed.
If you do need a version 10-something then you will have to upgrade your operating system to Leopard (fi your computer will support it) at least. If you need 10.5 for some reason then there's no getting around it, you will have to buy a new computer. -
my movie rental downloaded but it will not play. I rented a movie yesterday so I know that my laptop is capable. I can see images of each chapter but the movie won't play. Any idea?

I'm trying to transfer photos form my pc to my ipad. Itunes defaults to All Folders under Sync photos. Whatever file I download wipes out what was previously downloaded. It will not let me select Selected folders. How can I transfer additional photos without losing what I already trasnferred?
Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive (works the same with an SD card) into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

As I mentioned above, I am not very tech savvy so I have no idea why a wireless protocol would be showing up there, I'm just listing everything I see in hopes that someone might know something I can try. This is why I am asking for help here - I'm not sure what has happened that has made me unable to connect, especially since it seemingly occured while nobody was using the computer.
I guess I should clarify that I'm not a total hillbilly- normally my firewall is set to 'on', but I set it to 'off' to try and troubleshoot the issues here as I was told that sometimes it can interfere with the computer's ability to connect to the internet. If this is not the case and firewall does not affect anything, I will turn it back on while I try to fix this.
I have tried the method you mentioned above a few times - I actually contacted my ISP earlier this week and they recommended resetting the router like that. They didn't mention any known network issues.
