My DREAMWEAVER has lapsed into a Coma :-(

I have an old version of Dreamweaver, Version 7.0.1, and I
lost the software installation CD. When I open Dreamweaver (on my
old model emac G4 using OSX 10.3.9), the Dreamweaver panel comes up
and does not go away, and all the menu items are visible on the
toolbar, but when I click on any of the menu items, nothing
happens. Is there any way I can awaken my Dreamweaver from the coma
it has lapsed into?

The only thing you can do, and me too, is to take it into an Apple store to be checked out because if you send it in to Apple they charge you.
This is incorrect.
If you contact AppleCare and none of the troubleshooting steps provided resolves the problem, a box will be sent via Fed-Ex overnight express delivery to pick up your iPhone with a return shipping label included on the box below the shipping label to you. The only possible charge is for a loaner iPhone if requested but if one asks nicely, the $29 fee for the loaner iPhone may be waived. The iPhone will be inspected and tested for possible repair or replacement. The entire process including shipping both ways takes 3-5 business days.
If an Apple Store can't fix the problem, it will be the same process. A loaner iPhone will be provided by the Store if requested and your iPhone will be shipped to AppleCare by the Store. In some situations if the problem cannot be resolved at the Store, the iPhone will be replaced on the spot at the Store but not always.
Either way there is no charge except for a loaner iPhone if requested when your iPhone is returned to AppleCare for inspection and testing unless Apple determines that the problem is due to accidental damage or abuse.

6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...

1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.

Without knowing what you did and exactly what happened (error messages) all I can suggest is:
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I tried reloading Aperture 2.1, but that did not change anything. I have also turned the system off, for a period of time, and then turning it back on, when I click on Aperture, it comes up and locks in the thumbnail mode. I can view my stored pictures, even modify them, but it still says thumbnails.
I got in this mode by trying to import "one jpeg photo", from a scanned slide using a Nikon Scan4 IS5000ED scanner. I had saved the scan to my desktop before I tried to import it.

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

Wow, have seen Files do that, but a whole Folder as I recall!
Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)

So I've an legal Office 2013 version running on my Surface Pro 2, which works fine.
I installed lync client 2013 (not from the appstore, but the desktop version) and on first sight, seems to work as well.
Now comes the issue - when I want to join a meeting, the following error comes up:
"we're sorry, but lync has run into an error that is preventing it from working''
I already re-installed Office and Lync several times - but the error keeps coming and it getting really frustrated because I cannot join any meeting.

Please check if the Lync conference add-in is active in Outlook.
You can check with the following steps:
Click File button on Outlook, Options--Add-Ins. Make sure the Lync Add-in for Microsoft Office 2013 in the list of "Active Application Add-ins". If it is in Inactive Application Add-ins or Disabled Application Add-ins, active it and then restart
Lync client and Outlook to test the issue.
If the issue persists, please also delete Lync user profile and Outlook profile to test the issue.

Today we had this error code on starting Office programs out of the blue. We've had this error in the past and we know what caused it, but that action wasn't taken. I've already read other posts, but no "Answer" provides a real solution to a clear
problem with Office 365.
The error: "We're sorry, but (program name) has run into an error that is preventing it from working correctly. (Program name) will need to be closed as a result."
It offers "Repair Now", then the two following options: "Online" or "Offline". Neither are effective.
In the past we used the Office 365 Fix It tool, but uninstalling and reinstalling Office on a regular basis is unacceptable. Resorting to web apps is also not going to happen.
Running Win 7 Pro 64 bit, fully updated.
We're starting to get fed up with this broken software. Paying monthly for programs that don't work is ridiculous. Any real answers would be greatly appreciated!

Locate your Office application and check the setting of Compatibility.
For example,
Right click on Excel (.exe) > Properties > Compatibility > uncheck all the boxes, click Ok and check if it helps.
To access Excel (.exe), open the following location:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15\Excel.exe
Or
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\Root\Office15\Excel.exe
Try to open Excel and check if it opens.

It is designed to be synced to your computer regularly.
It is not a stand alone device.
You should regularly import any pics and vids to your copputer as you would with any digital camera.

Yes. You import/sync everything with your computer and back it up with your regular backup of your computer.
