My droid X2 "modem did not power up, starting rsd protocol"

Okay, so i shall first start by saying i dropped my phone over 2 months ago but have NEVER had any problems since then, i do not have a warranty on this phone, and i don't have much money to spend. The day before yesterday my phone started showing "no service" and thinking it would be easily fixed by turning my phone off then on i proceeded to do so only to see the error message "modem did not power up (2), starting RSD protocol"! I was shocked, confused and upset. I don't know what to do, i have tried everything. A friend of mine said that since it is a software problem and not because i had dropped it (months back, and was still working perfectly) that perhaps i could take it back and get it fixed for free? Am i to assume this would be the case or is there more i can do at home to save my phone?! Please, please help!

Yesterday, I went and bought a refurbished 3rd-generation iPod touch, with a warranty for needed repairs in the future. First, have her hold the power button down a few seconds. That works for me. If that doesn''t work, have her hold volume
down button while pressing power. That should do a soft reset (like a battery pull). If that fails then there is a hardware
issue. i had to exchange my first one for this very reason.

1>check JDK version you are using. use supported JDK in case if you you don't have
2>check your memory parameters. Notes 597187, 552522
might be of help.
may be the problem could be with the Heap Size.change it to value (ex:1024 MB) and try if it works.
also
3>check whether you started in safe mode. if so, change it to normal mode.

I get the following error "J2EE engine JCO did not reach the "starting application" state" when I try to install my Java components using SAP Development Studio.
When I checked my std_servero.out the get the following error

The GC messages you see are just an indication of the garbage collector activity. It is not an error.
I'm not sure about what you are doing with the Developer Studio. I guess your WAS Java is already installed, is it right? Are you able to start the visual administrator? Please, paste here the exact error you receive.

Windows Service Error 1053 - Service did not respond to start or control request

I'm presuming it's logging on as a domain user. Has that user got "Logon as a Service" rights?

I've been working on this issue with our developers for the past week, and so far we're stumped. We have a Windows Service that was created in-house to process our customers imaging requests with assured delivery that are past the start date. We currently have this service, and a few others like it, running on 12 different bus servers. The servers all run .NET Framework 4.5, and all the other servers run it with no problem. This particular service bus gives us the "Error 1053" as so on as we try to start the service. I've increased the timeout to 60 seconds, but it was set at 30 before and it times out IMMEDIATELY after pressing start. I've uploaded the .config file we use. I modified the IP addresses for security reasons. The service logs on with an administrator password that has domain access rights. We've tested the connectivity...

Rebooted esxi host with 1000v will not power on

I rebooted my esxi host with the 1000v on it. after the host came back up, the vm did not power on and now I cannot access the host. when i try to power on the vm on the host via kvm. It fails to power on.
any idea on this?

What error message do you get when trying to power on the VSM?
Have you tried connecting to the host directly with the VI Client?
You may need to do a vSwitch Networking recovery from the console of the ESX host. Sounds like it wasn't setup correctly initially. Once restored to the standard vSwitch, you can re-migrate it back to the DVS.

C3750 PoE gives out not power until shut/no shut

I have deployed a new stack of five C3750-48 switches. This morning 11 ports on the first(Master) switch were down/down. When I plugged in a spare 7940 directly into the ports, to check the patch cabling, the phone did not power up. The port was down/down and no log was generated. When I plugged my laptop directly into the port I have network connectivity. If I then put the 7940 in, it still didnt power on. The only way to restore power was to do a shut/no shut on the effected interfaces and then the phones worked.
What on earth is going on?
I also saw the switch shut down a couple of ports with 7940's on them due to a BPDU guard error. However this wasnt on all the ports that didnt get power, so I have posted another conversation.

It would always help to inlude the IOS version. I found few bugs related to inline power.

Check to see if the IOS you are running is past these bugs and if its not, consider getting past it.
For the other issue with BPDU guard, the switch would shut down the port if it receives BPDU on a portfast enabled port. If you are sure nobody connected another switch to the port, I have seen Windows XP PCs with integrated NIC and wireless card send out BPDUs since they are bridging capable. See if this is the case.

Embedded m4v, avi and mov did not load, when published to server

today I created a new webpage, for the first time with iWeb. It work perfect on my mac including embedded movies. When I published it to my server, all pages loaded fine, but the movies did not. They started a bit and then everything ended in endless loading sessions. With ongoing "reloading" with the browser, it did improve, but did not work in one go.
So I had to upload it to youtube, and embedded it via the youtube widget. This is not the way I wanted it, but I found now solution, why it did not load?
Any idea what the reason is? Possibly wrong css lines?

What's the URL of your site? Visit your site in Safari, use the Window->Activity option and see what files for your site are not getting uploaded.
There are ways to embed a movie other than dragging it onto the iWeb page. This method, Opening Item in New Specially Sized Window, has you uploading the file just once manually to your server and linking to it there. It does not load with the page but only after the Play button is selected.
There is another way, Adding QT Movies via the Export for Web Option from QT Player, which is more difficult but gives a different appearance.

Try starting Aperture with the command and option keys held down. You'll get 3 options.
Try each, starting at the top, in order, checking after each to see if it fixes the issue.

You don't in the condition it's in. You will either have to get the phone replaced by Apple or pay a 3rd party to repair it.

First try a Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least Ten seconds... (But can take Longer)... until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.
