I got an E 6. It is frustrating me beacuse I hae numbers saved some with prefix and others without. The phone doesn't recognise the same numbers with or without prefix. This makes it hard telling who is calling or texting
Pain that it maybe but might require you to ensure that all saved contacts have their international prefix number.

Our different CISCO SPA IP phones models (at this time we are using 7.4.8a version) are working with Broadsoft AS. And now we have a problem: when CISCO SPA IP PHONE pickups the call ( by pressing BLF lamp) and the call is connected, Cisco user doesn't see any information (calling name or calling number) with whom he is talking now. He on only sees on screen pickup extension *11 and info that the call is connected. From SIP traces I can see this information in PAI header in SIP 200 OK message (when pickup was initiated).
I also tried to change Caller ID Header - no luck. I've upgraded IP phone to latest version (7.5.1a) - didn't help.
I've experience with THOMSON and MGC. By pressing BLF , Thomson displays info who (calling number) is calling to your configured BLF line and gives you actions: retrieve this call or cancel - you can choose if you still want pickup this call.
So can you give me some hints how to fix this issue? Our at this time CISCO IP PHONE doesn't have such feature?

EE4G WIFI, EE WEB SITE DOESN'T RECOGNISE MY NUMBER
I have bought osprey 2 mini. And i m trying to add it's number to my exisisting account. However even though it accepts the number in first login screen, after i logged in to my exisisting account, when I try to add it as a new number it gives warning " Sorry we don't recognise that number. It needs to be an EE number starting 07." What is problem? I'm sure that number is true.

Installer doesn't recognise serial number
I have just downloaded CS6 to upgrade 5.5. The installer asks for my CS5.5 serial number which I have entered correctly from the records on my Adobe account but it wont recognise the serial number, I get an error message saying it is not a qualifying product (which it is?) - how do I resolve this?
First make sure you are using an apples to apples serial number. If the CS5.5 is a suite while CS6 is not, or vice versa, that can cause the problem.
Then, make sure you are using the right serial number.

If all else fails, you need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues.

BT website tells me it doesn't recognise my number...
I am interested in BT and have tried to make an enquiry through the website, however I keep getting a message that my telephone number is not recognised, even though I have telephone and broadband through BT.
I contacted BT last week about the problem through the on-line chat faciility and I was called by someone who couldn't help me at all but asked me to complete a customer survey before he would put me through to someone who could help me. The second person could not help me either, and I was finally put through to a third department. I had to explain the issue 3 times, as there was obviously no communication between each of the operatives. The person I spoke to last said that my phone number wasn't stored correctly in BT's system, and it would take up to 48 hours to get the system corrected. That was a week ago and I am still getting the same error message. I have absolutely no wish to spend another half an hour or so on the phone, being passed from one person to another, trying to explain a problem to someone I have difficulty understanding. I give up! I am obviously not destined to find out what services I can receive on BT TV.Hi Lizmk

Playlist on iPhone doesn't show same number of songs in library
The playlist on my iPhone 4S shows that I've downloaded from my library 893 songs, across 4 playlists.
However when I connect the iPhone to the library, the information bar, that indicates how much of the memory is being used on the phone, shows 1031 songs.
Clearly this is absorbing memory space but I don't understand why there is a difference of 138 songs.

Photoshop doesn't recognise my scanner with Mountain Lion
When I go to scan in Photoshop, file, import to device, I get a blank dialog box with nothing but rotate button left and right. No "scan" button or "preview" or option" button, and no image of what's in the scanner.

When I ask Siri to call my wife, it asks which number I want, but it's the same number with the difference of a +1. How do I tell it which number to automatically choose, especially since only one of those numbers appears in her contact card? (I assume the +1 is coming from her Facebook account that's sync'ed to her contact card, but I still only see one number when viewing her card.)
Say "Call wife mobile" or "call wife home" or "call wife work" or just edit the contact so the numbers are the same

My phone doesn't make and receive calls. It doesn't have coverage where other iPhones with the same network do. Please, let me know how way I sort this problem out?
My wife is having the exact same issue after updating to the new iOS 8.1.1 and we've tried all the same steps even restoring the phone as a new phone. We've contacted our service provider and they've told us to go to apple to potentially "remove" her serial number from their servers to allow it to work properly on the service we have. We are desperate as purchasing a new phone right now is not an option and she desperately needs her phone for work and life.

In effect this is a DNS block.
You can do it.
You need to be in an Admin Mac User Account that has non blank password.
Go to the Applications/Utilities folder and open Terminal.
You should see your shortname (the one under the Little House icon) followed by the $ symbol
Copy and paste the bold text below into Terminal after the $ symbol.
sudo pico /etc/hosts
This will load the file "hosts" into and editor that works in Terminal.
Use the arrow keys to get to the line with Verisign in it.
Now type the # symbol and it will be added in front of the character that is highlighted.
The # symbol is either Shift +3 or ALT+ 3 depending on your keyboard layout
Now use CTRL and O keys together.
This Saves the changes.
Quit Terminal.

My iPad will only recognise photos when I connect an Sd card with the camera connection kit. It doesn't recognise video clips from the same card?!
Most probably because your camera records videos into MTS files, which aren't cmpatible with iOS. Read http://www.iphonelife.com/blog/87/playing-back-1080p60i60p-non-mov-videos-right- your-camera for more info and the alternatives (preprocessing ("remuxing") on a desktop etc); don't forget to follow the iVI review link at the bottom if you have a Mac.
