My elements does not look the same as the tutorial

I hope someone can help me. Why does my photoshop elements 13 (newly installed -maybe this is the problem/)not look the same as the one on the tutorial? My top line only has eLive, Quick, Guidedand Expert. No Media or People? Do I have a cheaper version(did not think I bought a "lighter "version)

The copy and paste keyboard commands in the app are controlled by Flash Player, sometimes there are issues with a browser/OS combination, make sure that Flash Player is up to date and if that doesn't help try another web browser.

Conversion does not look the same?
I converted a pdf file to a word document last night and the page does not look the same. It is a weekly time log and the lines are messed up and the font is not placed correctly. Is there any way to fix this?

What you described is fairly common for conversions where the PDF file that's being converted to Word wasn't originally created from Word. The service does the best it can to interpret the font data as well as the formatting, but as that information is often not present within the code of the PDF file, sometimes the resulting Word document does not exactly resemble the PDF file.

I am using both PSE 13 and Lightroom 5. When I use Lightroom as an external editor and save the photo, it shows up in PSE13 as an edited file but does not look any different. Why doesn't it appear edited?
People who have Photoshop, but don't have Lightroom, need ACR so that they can use Raw files. Without ACR they could do nothing with those (they may also like having ACR so that they can work on other kinds of image using the same kinds of adjustments and techniques, as are used with Raw files).
People who have Lightroom, can get access to Raw files regardless whether ACR is present or not. They can use Lightroom on other kinds of image also, using the same methods. LR can pass images directly into Photoshop without passing via ACR (or else does so transparently, which amounts to substantially the same thing).
ACR does not, strictly speaking, even need to be installed for this external editing to happen. In fact, not even PS needs to be - since a different image editor can be used instead, while still retaining the Adobe Raw conversion etc.
Lightroom "subcontracts out" specialised external tasks, in this workflow, but is still your "main contractor": the image is otherwise located, viewed, managed, adjusted/presented and output entirely using LR.
So IMO we can divide image processing into:
operations that involve pixels and layers and layer masks and adjustment layers etc (of the kind done inside Photoshop)
operations that involve parametric edits (of the kind done in ACR where you are not using a Lightroom based workflow; otherwise, done inside Lightroom)
When PS is called in, that's because those tasks are impossible or unsuitable to do in Lightroom. But those tasks can't be done in ACR either - by definition, since LR and ACR have exactly the same image processing "feature set".
Lightroom is irrelevant to the Bridge + ACR + PS workflow. This workflow requires both your PS and your ACR to be current enough, to support your Raw format etc.
ACR and Bridge are irrelevant to the LR + (image editor) workflow. It is in this case, only LR which needs to be current enough to support your Raw format etc.

System keeps looking for a 'server' that does not exist. Is says the old name of my Airport Extreme. Clicking it away (4x) finally gets through.
Other weirdness to report: my neighbor upstairs appears to have a Linksys router network on channel 6. My AEBS is on channel 1 so there shouldn't be interference... but according to iStumbler sometimes the signal leaps to 64000 (keep in mind my own Airport never tops 60)! Is that potentially the problem?
Might it be possible that your neighbor just acquired a 802.11n (pre-N) wireless router recently?
802.11n effectively increases capacity by doubling the number of Wi-Fi radios and increasing the number of antennas used to push signals out of those radios. 802.11n splits a data frame into multiple pieces. It then transmits these pieces in parallel using multiple radios that are attached to multiple antennas. These antennas blast out signals from virtually the same vantage point – scattering the signals everywhere.

Even if he did not, and you are on good terms, you might want to ask if he can temporarily turn off his wireless, or, at least, reduce the signal strength to see if that will help in your situation. -
When I try to buy music, I get message saying that my credit card information does not match the bank records. My information, formatting are exactly the same as the bank. Help!
Look on one of your bank statements and be sure to enter the billing address exactly as it shows on the statement. Some folks forget where they actually get the statement. They put their home address in iTunes/Mac App Store and they actually get the statement at their place of employment or vice versa.

When I try to play music downloaded from itunes on my iPhone 4S it says 'this URL is not found on the server'. This does not happen when I play the same music on my iPad. The music plays fine. The message also comes up when I try and login to iTunes on my iMac. Can anyone help?

Every webserver that receives a request from your browser is able to determine the HTTP USER AGENT information unless it has been removed by some software (e.g. firewall) before the request was trasmitted. -
I have consolidate my folders related to the video I am in the progress of working on. Premiere elements does not follow their new location. How do I syn them back up all at once so premiere doesn't ask me for their location when I open the project

When you open the project, it should ask you where the first file is located. After you tell it where it is, it should be able to find the rest of them if they are located near the first one. Then save the file. If you move the files again, you will have to relink them again. -
As a new Macbook Pro user I was saddened to find that the feature of using keywords in iPhoto '11 does not allow showing same under each photo. I understand this was available in earlier versions. Any comments?

My Firefox 4.0 does not look anything like the videos you show about the features of the new Firefox. My screen looks totally different than yours. It does not have the orange box in the upper left hand corner of the screen. My screen still looks like the old version. I have the logo on the top of my screen with Ask a Question a vertical line Firefox Help - Mozilla Firefox.
Under this line I have File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, and Help. Below this line is a tab with Ask a Question Firefox Help and a +. My husbands screen looks identical to the orange Firefox Box in the upper left of screen. I would like my screen to look identical to the ones shown in your videos. I only have one version of Firefox 4.0 my husband does have the Firefox 4.0 plus the Beta version. How do I add the Beta version? I have Windows Vista running systems. Please help. My Photoshop Elements does not start any more. It gives response "Photoshop elements cannot start or continue because of missing file(s). Please reinstall." How do I get the installing file again (I bought it from Adobe via internet the first time december 2013?)

Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 for Mac does not show up in Applications. Tutorial for editing from iPhoto shows selecting the Adobe software in Applications. Am I missing a step in registering product?
I answered my own question: There's a difference between "download' and "install." Hunt for "install" (1.5 hrs in my case) and line up your passwords, Adobe ID, etc, then install. Took 15 min. The right choice shows up in Applications. Now it's on to figuring out why photo selected for edit in iPhoto does not show up on screen in Elements.

Due to Photoshop Elements 12 Organizer I uninstalled the program. When I re-installed Photoshop Elements 12 on the same computer the "Photoshop Elements 12.0.exe" file is not available. I have tried loading Photoshop Elements 12 from the Adobe web site without success.
The Elements 12 shortcut can't find the Elements12.0.exe file so the program will not load. I can load the editor from its .exe file but not the organizer.

I am having trouble with my iPad, i can start it, but the iPad does not work. i tried to use the power and home button at the same time, the apple logo appears, but the iPad does not work. What am I suppose to do?
After the Apple logo appears, what happens then? Can you hear any sounds or if you tap on the screen, does it seem like apps can open or are you just seeing a black screen? You might have a hardware problem, but you can try restoring the software and see what happens.
Read this in its entirety before you do anything. Make sure you read the sections at the end about using recovery mode.
