I have just subscribed to CS and my email address is wrong this was told by a chat guy called Anil but somehow I got an email to make the link but now I cannot get my downloads for CS

First go here - https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ and login under the manage tab. Check your information and be sure it is all correct.
An AppleID is nothing more than an email address, so if you see another email address in the store, then someone has logged in with a different AppleID than yours. Did you let someone else use your iPhone?

Are you saying you don't know how you spelled it wrong?
You could create another Apple ID and icloud account, then back up the device to that account. Unless there's a problem with the device and you need to restore from the old backup. In which case, I'm sorry to say, you have a problem.
Do you have an itunes backup?

AppWorld Email address registered WRONG

Hello All,
First time! And I know I'd sound like a complete **bleep**!
The email address I registered in Appworld for my BB Playbook, unfortunately, was mistyped and incorrect. It was fine until i forgot the password and now could not login. I was trying to use another AppWorld login (the one I use for my BB Pearl) unfortunately (again ), the Playbook doesnt allow changes in the registered email address somehow ( or am just really a total **bleep**! ).
I have already gone through a lot of verification and all, which ends up sending a new password to the email I registered, which i cannot access because I did it wrong.
Would appreciate an assistance, please.

Your choices are:
--Use another email account to create an entirely new BlackBerryID (with which you will lose access to any purchased apps using the "forgotten" first BlackBerryID, or
--Find the initial email you were sent to confirm the initial BlackBerryID, and in it is a link to click to cancel and delete the account. Click on that, delete the account and then you can use that same email to create an entirely new account.

Have you forgotten your password? - if so, you have a problem if the email address has gone dead.
If you know your password, go to the iTunes Store, click on Account. log in and you can change the associated email address.
If you don't know your password, and have no email address, you are going to have problems because it's difficult to see how Apple are going to identify you as the authorised owner of the account. Contact iTunes Support: go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ - click on 'Other iTunes Store Features' in the list and then on 'Podcasts'. Default outgoing email address is wrong, how do I change it ?

I've been using Thunderbird successfully for several years with 6 different email accounts - 1 gmail account, 2 yahoo accounts, and 3 accounts on another domain.
Recently I added a new gmail account for a project I'm working on.
Now, the default email address defaults to the new account, which is not what I want at all.
If I'm replying to or forwarding emails or writing new emails I want the address that I'm sending from to default to the mailbox that I'm currently using, replying from or forwarding from.
If that just isn't possible, I'd be happy if it defaulted to my general email address (the first one I had) but I certainly don't want Thunderbird to use the email address for the new account, which my project colleagues want only to be used in connection with the project.
How do I resolve this, please ?

There is an assumption thast if you are viewing emails in a particular account and then select Write, that you are wanting to Write an email to do with the account you are viewing, so....
If you are viewing emails in account A and then click on Write, the FROM email address will be Account A,
If you are viewing emails in account B and then click on Write, the FROM email address will be Account B,
you can set any account as default.
This will be the one positioned at the top.
* Tools > Account Settings
* Select the account name
* click on 'Account Actions'
* click on 'Set as default'
* click on OK

I am having the same problem as the personal who asked the original question. I think they left out a bit of information. I am extremely frustrated. I just downloaded ios7. I want to utilize icloud. It has an email address for me which shows a gmail account instead of a hotmail account. It's incorrect, but icloud wants me to verify that account. It is not my Apple ID, but an incorrect variation of my Apple ID. iCloud is waiting for me to verify that account, which I cannot do because it does not exist in this or any other universe. I tried to delete the account from my iphone, but guess what? they want me to sign in with my incorrect email address and password to delete the account. How in the world do I get icloud to allow me to enter my apple id email address ? IAt looks like a terrible glitch and all I want to do is be able to use the Find My Phone feature. Help!!!! I have a very old email address assigned to my Apple ID that I no longer have access to. My main Apple ID is a gmail one, that I can get to, but the email address in my support profile, and therefore the email address that iCloud sends a verification email to, is for a company I no longer work for and have no way of getting to.
How can I change my profile email address to be the same as my Apple ID?

Finally found the answer. Iknew it had to be simple, it was just difficult to find it!
Go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and sign in.Click the "Manage your account" link.
On the right hand side, click the "Edit" link in the "Apple ID and Primary Email Address" area.
Change your email address and click "Save changes"

My icloud email address is wrong and I can't change it!

So i have changed jobs, email address and phone - I have updated my Apple ID to my new email address. Everytime I turn on my phone it tells me I need to enter my icloud password but it lists my old email address as the sign in address. I have tried to delete the account but it asks to "Enter the password for "oldemail address" to turn off Find my iPhone" - as I dont remember the password I cant turn it off and delete the account.
Is there a way to update the icloud email address? The field is greyed out unde the "icloud account information page" so cant do anything there.
What do I need to do - very frustrated!

When you say you updated your apple id, do you mean you logged into your old apple id and edited your email by changing it to your new email? If so, you need to go to appleid.apple.com on a web browser and log in with the new email and then edit the email back to the old email. Then go to icloud settings on your phone and turn off Find my iphone. Go to bottom of that page and Delete the account but keep info on your phone. Then go back to appleid.apple.com and change the email back to the new one. Go back on your phone and log into icloud with the new appleid email.

How do i reset my security questions when the recovery email address is wrong?

My brother has managed to mess up his Apple ID. We have Apple ID and password but everytime a paid App is trying to download it asks for security questions which he has forgotten the answers to. The recovery email address he has entered is not correct to nay email account we have in the family and I haven't a clue what to do next? There is a £15 voucher on this account which we would like to use.

Click on "Account Management" and then on "Forgotten Security Questions". That will take you to a page where you can talk to iTunes Support right away, or you can schedule a call to talk to them. They should be able to get you squared away so that you can log on to the old Apple ID.
