My email address on my i phone is old and i can not seam to change it. this results in my not being able to log in. How do I change the email address?
How do I change the log in email ID on my I phone. I have done so on my account but can not do so on my I phone and it wont let me log in
Settings>Store...tap the ID shown...sign out...now sign back in with the ID you want to use.

I have 2 email accounts on an IPhone 5 and can't seem to change the sound for my primary email account.
Try going to Settings>Notifications>Mail, tap your primary account, then tap New Mail Sound and set as desired.

My guess is that when you see the router on your phone, you press the blue arrow on the right - thats why you see all the IP stuff. Don't press the blue arrow. Press further to the left. You should be prompted for a password then.

Try resetting it: hold the on/off and home buttons until you see the Apple logo (ignore the off slider that appears first), then release. If it won't reset just let it discharge and stop on its own, the recharge it and see if it works again.

I am getting the same message when I try to log in thru www.comcast.net on Safari, the Comcast Xfinity app and adding Comcast to my email accounts. I've also turned the phone on and off with no good results. My husband had the same problem and finally opened a Gmail account and had his Comcast email forwarded there. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Have you tried adding your comcast account using the built in IOS mail app.
If you're using the Comcast Xfinity app, then look at their support site or ask the app developer. -
I have deleted Firefox from my computer and then downloaded it fresh but it makes no difference. i am not getting the Firefox main page when I open the browser. Makes no sense to me. This is a brand new HP computer about 1 week old

If the old ID ("email address") is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

My Verizon e-mail account is closed and I can not access the needed updates for my I phone apps. Even if I knew the password I would have to access the old e-mail account which I can not do. I have an ID and password for my new laptop but not for my I phone which is under a Verizon service contract....ugh!!! Thanks

Can't use Find My Friends on iPhone due to Apple ID not being verified.
Can't do this as I can't access my .mac email any longer and I can not change the primary e-mail address for my Apple ID!
So my options are:
Create a new Apple ID, use that and lose all the apps I've purhcased with it (a fairly substantial amount)
Somehow Migrate these purchases over to a new Apple ID
Apple let me change the primary ID for the account
Anyone else ran into this before?
I've tried accessing the mail through a mail application using the correct server information, and trying both the old 6 character password and the one I had to change it too after they updated the security guidelines - neither work.
Help would be greatly appreciated as I can see more services down the line not working without the address being verified!To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. My username (email address) has changed. Apps that I purchased with the old username ca not be updated as the password from the old username no longer works and apple can not send me info to an addres that no longer exists. What can I do?

* Problems with Contacts either crashing or listing no names
* Problems with turning iCloud on or off for application under Settings->iCloud... On both mine I just get a pop up saying that iCloud is being turned off but Contacts then just locks up.
* General problems when trying to synch applications on the iPad or iPhone over iCloud?
