My email has been down since 9PM EST Monday, over 36 hours now. C'mon Apple, this is disappointing!
When will there be a real update to this service outage problem? This is poor service, Apple. I rely on my me.com email! Very frustrating.
According to this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3694 which describes the error codes from restore errors, it does not say anywhere in there that it has anything to do with iOS 7, it has to do with security software and anti-virus software on the computer.
Do you have the latest version of iTunes on your computer? What computer OS are you using? If you have anti-virus software on the computer, what is it? If you are using a windows computer, follow the link in the information below to temporarily disable your firewall/anti-virus software to attempt the restore again.
Error 20, 21, 23, 26, 28, 29, 34, 36, 37, and 40
These errors typically occur when security software interferes with the restore and update process. Use the steps to troubleshoot security software issues to resolve this issue. In rare cases, these errors may be a hardware issue. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
Also, check your hosts file to verify that it's not blocking iTunes from communicating with the update server. See the steps under the heading "Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > Mac OS X > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store." If you have software used to perform unauthorized modifications to the iOS device, uninstall this software prior to editing the hosts file to prevent that software from automatically modifying the hosts file again on restart. -
ICloud email has been down since 6:10pm
No iCloud email since 6:10pm September 10th.
If I set up an auto response to use my alternate email or forward mac mail to another address
will this help until they work it out?

Hoping they figure it out today. This is now affecting my income.I've noticed this as well since about 10:30 EST. I used to have emails forwarding from another address and when I switched that off the other address is receiving emails instantly so it's definitely a problem on Apple's end. It's good to see that at least one other person is reporting the problem here, but it would be even better if Apple would update the status page. I can be very patient if I know it's a known issue for them, but hate seeing that all is up and running normally from their point of view when it isn't.

What is going on here. I've waited 4 weeks for my ipad which will not do anything untill I've downloaded the latest version of itunes which I can't do because this message keeps appearing,

Please tell me that it has NEVER been jailbroke. If it hasn't been, here are some standard repair procedures:
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore (or it doesn't help), go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, if you have IOS-7, read this. -

Mail has been down completely since last night. Not able to access from Air, iPhone, iPad, or via Safari. System Status reports no problems. Other iCloud tools (Calendar, Contacts) seem fine.

My DSL has slowed down over the last few months

My DSL has slowed down over the last few months. I had the service that is up to 1.5 M and I used to get 1.2 ish on the verizon speed test, lately I've been getting between .9 and 1.0 at the most. I got the info from the speed test and here is a portion of that info:
