My email has frozen on iPhone 4s and will not load just kicks me back to the home screen, any ideas?
my email froze yesterday now every time i open the app it gives me a blank screen and then after a fe secs kick me out back to the home screen. i have tried restarting, turning on and off, restoring, deleting account and adding it back on and changing my password but nothing has work, any ideas?
While shut down and restart probably doesn't work, see if you can remember the last email that you were reading. If it had a moticon or large attachment, try going your desktop and moving that email to a deleted folder. Then go back to your email on your iphone it should be working. That worked for me. I then went back to my desktop and moved the email in question back into my inbox.

One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

my ipod kicks back to home screen after 30 secs. I can't use any apps.
- Try reetting the iPOd. Nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

I can only downloaded apps that I deleted before the update, not the ones that were already there. This is driving me nuts and I can't find the solution ANYWHERE.
Im having the same problem after installing ios7.1
Checked the usb status and it sees an iphone ( 4s ) attached,
Repaired disc permissions
updated and reset iphone
and itunes
reinstalled mavericks from scratch
phone alert saying " TRUST THIS COMPUTER?"
hit trust
same alert keeps appearing
again and again
itunes keeps wittling on about "iTunes could not connect to this iPhone. You do not have permission."
what the actual F*** is going on and can anybody help ?????? -
Not sure how to fix this, but it's extremely annoying. Anyone having this same problem?
Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your account and try the Reset again.
If no joy... Connect to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and Restore...

Try going into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > select the account > account name , tap on SMTP (under the 'Outgoing Mail Server' heading) and then tap on your Primary Server and try entering your email account and password and see if it then works

Everytime I try and open an app it starts loading then goes right back to the home screen
Some apps work but others don't! I don't understand!

Hello, so today I realized that my iPhone with iOS 6 is frozen on the music. I can get back to the home screen but I can't get the music player to work because its frozen on the w's and will not respond to touch. I would be grateful for any help on this.

iphone has been in recovery mode for 4 hours and hasn't come back to the home screen and how can i fix this and get it back to working order?
the iphone 4S has been in recovery mode for a long time and i have tried to press and hold the power and home buttons until the apple symbols comes on the screen again but it stay on the screen until the screen turns off and doesn't come back on to the home screen and have tried to sync with mac and doesn't do anything it does display the itunes and cable icons for a while but then goes back to the apple symbol and doers nothing what can I do to fix this and not loose what is on the phone at all?Hi, simonRM.

After I open and read an email using my mail app, how do I get back to the email app to open an read others. I am closing the email open, going back to the home screen and reopening the mail app every time. There's got to be a better way to do this.

I have an app that appeared to need to be updated. I clicked to update three days ago. It has started to update and will not finish. How can I delete the app while its in the middle of updating?Locked on an update can mean a couple of different things. So there are a number of things to try, but start with these.
If you have a "waiting" icon, try tapping on the icon and see if you can pause the update/download. Of it pauses, tap on it again and see if it will resume.
Try holding down on the icon until all of the icons on the screen wiggle. If the X to delete pops up on the waiting/stalled app - tap the X to delete the app. Tao,the home button and the apps will stop wiggling.
You can also try this and see if the downloads will resume. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -

yes and i have actually tried turning off my ipod and leaving it off for a while then come back to it later and it still wont let me get into my apps. the only apps i have access to is my music, safari, email, photos, and basically all the apps that was already on here. but like my photoshop, temple run and apps that i downloaded from the app store will not open for anything. i must say though that after i moved out of my parents house and lived with my aunt and uncle and my mom brought the rest of my belongings to their house for me, they deleted my itunes account beacuse now i cant log in to itunes anymore and also i havent updated it in a while but still, i've never had this problem before even tho i havent updated it and got my account deleted, so why am i all of a sudden having this problem with my ipod touch??????

I have an Iphone 5S and used to sync it to my computer in the past without any problem, but now I can't, and appears the message "usb device not recognized", and the cable is good and so the USB port. Do you have any idea what's the problem?
Try leaving it plugged in and then restart the computer.
