My email has me as someone I don't know on fB

I'm baffled.... The picture of "me" that shows up in the corner of my emails is someone I have never met before. When I got to preferences > accounts, only my accounts are listed. Yet somehow my email is bringing up the name and picture of some random facebook user. I do have facebook notifications forwarded to my account, however, the ones that are forwarded are all MY messages - not this other user. And, when I reply to posts from me account, they appear as me and not this other user. Should I be concerned? What's the fix for this?

I should clarify, when I say brings up the "name and picture", I mean the small icon has someone else's picture and when I open it, it is labeled as "me" and with this other person's name.

If a person is using your email address, you should change your email password and make sure there aren't any forwards to some strange email address.
An example if you were using gmail, under account settings, a forward can be set up to send messages to another email address.
If your email address is say, you own domain, such as somename@somename dot com, make sure the forwards are forwards you set up.
If your email account was hacked and the bad guy has access, you need to cut him off, first by changing the password and second cut off any message forwarding to the bad guy if he set it up. Just changing the password would keep a bad guy out, but if the bad guy set up a forward, he will still get your email.
A confirmation from Apple would have come to your email address in order to confirm that Apple ID. If you are getting the other person's purchase notifications, you would have gotten a confirmation of that account from Apple.

Mail > Preferences > Rules > Add Rule
Make a rule that's something like this...
If: From Contains saidperson@saidperson's email address
Perform the following actions: Delete Message
Do that and you'll never see emails from said person.

I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account. I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there. On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back. Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email. The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option?

There is no password to Thunderbird. The password you need is to the email account. Contact the email provider for password reset.

This helped me.
Go to Start -- Accessories -- Command Prompt, make right click and choose run as administrator
Type this command : netsh winsock reset
then restart your computer, everything should be ok after this. Good Luck.

That's so you can text with your thumbs. If it does' tog back together automatically put your finger on the tiny typewriter and you should get a pop up to reconnect keyboard. Or more easily put a finger on each one and pop them together.

Gmail email print is small and I don't know how to adjust it.

When I open my email the message print is so small I cannot read it. Some say it is an adjustment on the zoom feature in google which I don't know about or where to find the adjustment. Others have said that it is the settings in gmail again which I don't know about or where to find them. The settings print is also so small it is unreadable. Please advise.

My main question is, how do i get this person to log out of my account (forcefully) on their computer or device? I don't want to delete my account , i just want to know how do i get this hacker to log out of my iTunes account? *they are logged in with my old id* They can still use my account even though i changed my id. Because of the inaccessibility to the web. Also, my Verizon account has someone else as the account owner. It just seems that something else has control of or access to my phone. Being asked the way you did really made me force myself to put to words what's wrong. That's just it, I can't put my finger on it. I must sound nutty.
