My Email Inbox is blank when accessing account via internet

When I sign into my account via work computer (via internet) my inbox is blank.
Help!

Do you have a pop3 client (such as Outlook Express or Mac Mail) set up on a computer somwhere? Do you access your mail via any mobile devices?
Odds are you need to check a box somewhere for leave a copy of messages on the server. If you don't have any devices set up to pull your mail, change your password.

Hi experts,
One of our users encountered this error message when accessing account and contact list.

Weird thing is she has exact the same user set up as others (same role, privilege, pagelayout, etc), but only she got this problem.

Error while accessing portal via internet

Hi all,
I am having problems when accessing portal through internet. I have installed NW04 SR1(WAS, EP & KM). Then I created some iviews and pages.
Now when I open the portal through internet(using its ip address) and try to access PCD, it is showing undefined in place of the loading message and it is not loading anything. Also the detailed navigation is empty in all pages(eg. System Administration, Monitoring, etc.). But when i access it locally(using machine name) everything works fine. Any idea what the problem is?
Another problem is with the KM Navigation IView. I have created a custom layout set for this iview. In the iview I am displaying the documents in a folder along with a link for approval process. But when i click on the link, it shows javascript error "Access is denied". This happens when I access it through internet. When I access it locally, it works fine and show me the context menu for approval. Any idea?
Please reply fast as it is urgent.

Exchange OWA inbox contents deleted- when accessed by Iphone 5

My university uses Exchange/Outlook and has the OWA (Outlook Web Access) site available for checking email when offsite.
Starting last month I found that when I use my Iphone to view my OWA mail that the entire contents of my Inbox on the Exchange server instantly deletes. When new emails arrive and I check them again in the OWA, they vanish after a couple of seconds. When I log into the OWA from a laptop the messages really are gone. But if I go into 'recover deleted items' I'm able to restore them. The question is what is causing this behavior?
- When I configure my Iphone 5 account I simply go to Settings/Mail, Contacts, Calenders/Add account/Exchange.
- There's no option to make this a POP or IMAP account, select auto discovery, or delete upon reading...this is not Apple Mail...the phone simply auto configures to use https...very basic.
- I have no rules set on my desktop Outlook client.
- Logging into my OWA works normally, its only when I view it from my iphone that the inbox is deleted.
My Exchange admin is stumped. There seems to be a lot of complaints about this online but no solutions. Anyone have any ideas?

Desperately Frustrated: My emails show up blank when photos or attachments are sent. How can I change that so I see the photo in the body of my email?

I have only had my Mac for 2 weeks and when I received emails with photos the photos automatically showed up in the body of the email, now I have to physically open it with Quick Look to look at them. How did this change? Its really frustrating, I cannot find anything by googling this problem.
My preferences are set as rich text is there anything else I need to do?

Blank window when accessing PDF via IE URL

IE version 6.02 SP3
Adobe Reader 9.1.3 some machines on 9.1.2
Some folks are experiencing a blank window when they click on a PDF URL. Some of the URLs point to a virtual directory and some point directly to a file share. Some of the PDF files have a space in their name and some do not. There are no error messages appearing. Some folks have not seen this issue, others get it most of the time. Some times a refresh will work other times it won't.
Same results whether going through the proxy or to each web server directly. Fiddler shows a HTTP 401 which doesn't make sense since the files are open to everyone. Sometimes I get an IE error message saying it needs to close.
File size is not an issue. When I uncheck 'Display PDF in browser' the blank window issue goes away. But before I settle on that as the solution does anyone have any other suggestions.

Fields Blank When Summing Account Balances

I am new to the forum and I think there must be something fundamental I am missing. have gone back several pages and not found anyone else with this problem...
I am connecting to Sage 200 to summarise an account's transactions into current, 30 days overdue, 60 days overdue and 90 days overdue. I have created a formula for each of these periods in the details section of the report which I am the totalling in the report footer section together with the account code and name. This works fine where there are accounts with transactions but the report does not display any fields at all where the account has no transactions.
Is there any way to force Crystal Reports to show this data when there are no transactions against the selected customer account or am I missing something obvious?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Firstly the user selects the account they want to check by entering the account id which is supplied to the report as a parameter.
The tables are linked in the following manner (please forgive the primitive graphics) :

The report is designed to select every transaction then slot the overdue amount into the appropriate ageing period based on the age of the debt. At the end of the report it should provide totals for each ageing period and some basic customer account information like id, account name, credit limit and total overdue balance.
The thirty day formula looks like this:-
IF (CurrentDate - {SLPostedCustomerTran.TransactionDate} > 30) AND (CurrentDate - {SLPostedCustomerTran.TransactionDate} <= 60) THEN
({SLPostedCustomerTran.GoodsValueInAccountCurrency} - {SLPostedCustomerTran.AllocatedValue}) / {SLPostedCustomerTran.EffectiveExchangeRate}
The 60 and 90 day formulas are the same apart from the number of days in the IF... THEN.... statement.

Lost window, using published application on server 2012, when access it via web remote.

We use an edi software installed on a Server 2012.
When we use this software accessing the server by Remote Desktop, everything works normal.
When we use the same software accessing the server by web access, (...softname/RDWeb/Feed/webfeed.aspx) where was published this soft application, we lost some windows after different actions.
For example if I do a modification for a value in one specific window, after I click save, that window disappear but can appear again only if I click again anywhere on my desktop.
In other words that window lost the focus and probably is still open under another window. Clicking again anywhere, will reactivate it and that window appear again.
Can you please help me to find a solution to this problem?

Slow finder Browsing when accessing LAN via VPN connexion

I am running ML Server, latest upadte on a 2010 Mac Mini Server machine.
When I am connected to my network from a remote location via VPN, and I try to browse my LAN structure with Finder, it takes ages for the list of folders/files to appear and refresh.
I have checked my VPN configuration and tried different type (L2TP, PPTP) but nothing significantly differ in term of browsing speed.
I also appreciate that the network connection at the remote location, as well as the upload speed on my local network can influence the overwal browsing speed... but after several test, I confirm I have more than 3 Mbps bandwith for upload on the local network, and 20 Mbps minimum on the remote location.
I also tried AFP / SMB, but does not seem to change anything.
So, I guess I hope the Community has already experienced the issue and some of you guys may have found a workaround to this issue.

Input the following settings:
Interface: VPN
VPN Type: Cisco IPSec
Service Name: This can be anything, I left the default.
Edit the new interface details as follows:
Server Address: cisco.vpntraffic.com or other country vpn such as Portugal VPN
Account Name: Your vpn account
Password: Your vpn password

RemoteApp's not running when accessed from the internet

Hopefully someone can help me here.
I've installed RDWeb on the RDG server which live in our DMZ - I can access and log on to RDS from the internet with the RDG FQDN remote.external.com but I can't launch any RemoteApp's. Basically there's no RemoteApp pop up warning with all the connection
information (Publisher, Type, Path, Name, Remote computer, Gateway server) just the RemoteApp connecting to window with no info. Seems like it can't grab this information.
Users can log in to RDS internally with the RDG FQDN remote.external.com and run RemoteApps with no problems.

1. On the client PC, remove the thumbprint value entry for this server under the PublisherBypassList key. This is located under the following path:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server Client\PublisherBypassList
<SHA thumbprint> REG_DWORD 0x00000xxx
Additonally, remove the key for the server under the Servers key:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server Client\Servers\<FQDN of server>
2. What is the precise error message you receive when you attempt to launch a RemoteApp from external?
3. If you manually configure the Remote Desktop Client with the RD Gateway FQDN via Advanced tab--Connect from anywhere, are you able to connect from the Internet?

Accessing Server when only connected via Internet Sharing

Currently, I don't have the ability to directly connect my Mac Pro which I use as a Server to the router as I have no direct access to it via cable and it does not have an Airport card.
However, I can access the internet on it if I use internet sharing on my iMac which is connected via Gigabit Ethernet to the Mac Pro at all times.
In order to use any of the services such as Time Machine from another machine, I always need to connect it directly by cable. This leaves me wondering if there is a way to tunnel the Mac Pro through the iMac so it is accessible via Wifi? Is there a setting on either Machine I have to activate / set to make this work?
It is only thought to be a temporary solution until I move to a new flat where it will be directly connected to an Airport Extreme.

Seems that the issue is something to do with connecting via WPA2. When I set Internet Sharing to use WEP (by option-clicking the security menu), I'm then able to see the network shares and the printer.

Lync client cannot connect to Exchange Server when accessing from outside (Internet) - please HELP!

I have full representation of the Lync 2010 from Outside (i.e. Internet), but I still have small issue related to Lync-to-Exchange integration. Clients who is using Lync client from outside (i.e. Internet) cannot see Exchange-related information including
Call Logs, Voicemail and Calendar information.
Here is the experience and error messages that anyone will see when connecting to Lync server from Outside:

Hi, we had this issue and I ended up logging a MS support job. Turns out it was the TMG rule/Auth method causing the issue.
Job details:
**Symptom:
Lync Client External User are not able to retrieve the EWS URL
**Troubleshooting:
• We found External users are not able to Retrieve the EWS information in the Lync Client .
• We found the below error in the ETL logs.We found for EWS request we are getting the 401 response
HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized ( The server requires authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web server is denied. Contact the server administrator. )
• TMG need pass through Authentication
Public names are autodiscover.domain.com and Outlook anywhere External FQDN and paths are /ews/* and /autodiscover/*, OAB/*
Users is All Users, and Delegation is "No delegation but client may authenticate directly" on the corresponding tabs of the publishing rule.
This changes is required for Lync Client as Lync Client does not work well with this BASIC authentication on TMG .
• After TMG engineer changed this settings in the TMG users are able to see EWS information.

Unity 8 upgrade and delay when accessing voicemail via TUI

We just recently upgraded our Unity UM 7.x with FO to 8.03. when hitting messages and after entering your password you just get dead air. when going back in and doing it again it works again. this is happening to everyone. i read in the release notes :

The message that you point out in the release note is not considered an issue. Rather the disclosure in the release note is make the installler aware that this is expected as a result of the current software design.

when going to purchased in the quick links - my computer ALWAYS drops out whilst trying to connect

Intermittent issues will point to a local network/wifi issue.
Reboot ATV and router, make sure both are up to date
Try ethernet
The home sharing connection will cut out if the iMac goes to sleep.

I can log in on my apple account via internet but not the App Store or iTunes Store?

I cannot log into either the App Store or iTunes Store, however I can log into the apple website and get on my account there. I've tried to change password several times but nothing. HELP!!

Safari works just fine - proof of internet connection
Mail works just fine.
I go to "Settings" > iTunes & App Store try to login and all I get is a spinning wheel in the upper left corner of the screen.
