My email notification is defaulting on an old hotmail account rather than using the form submitters email address. Does anyone know the fix?

Hi,
Email notification defaults to your account ID. If you want to change this default email, you will need to change the email (Adobe ID) of your account in "My Information" dialog under the account icon. A workaround is that you sign up a new account with your new email address and make your new account ID a co-author of the form, then choose your new email to receive email notifications. Wait until it finishes. It's just downloading the headers of the emails in your account and caching them offline for quick access. Once it has finished it will go back to just downloading new emails as normal.

I have been suddenly getting tons of fraud emails. This has never been a problem in my mack mail in the past. Does anyone know how to set up blocks? I have searched through preferences but have not been able to find any way to do it. Bounce is of no use as these emails are not "respondable".

If you're using Mail, open Mail > Mail menu > Preferences > Rules > Add Rule > set the parameters you want.

Having the email address is not necessary. It is just the username for the device. All you need is that Apple ID and password. Now, if you forgotten the password, then you have more work to do. Since that email is no longer active, you would need to send the reset to your rescue email, if you remember that. Or you will need to contact Apple Security for help. I'm having the exact same problem. Out of the 500 or so contacts I have in my Outlook 2007 installation, about 50 occasionally get their category completely stripped off.
About the only thing I've been able to come up with is it seems to happen only when I add or modify a contact on one of my iOS devices, even if that contact is not part of my Outlook data (i.e.: the contact is part of MobileMe or iCloud data).
I guess I'll have to seek Apple support for this...

Does iCould Control Panel V2 still create new Outlook data files rather than using the default data files already in use?

This has always made iCloud for the PC an impossibility for me, and seems to be just a plain stupid implementation. Moving all the calendar and tasks to a proprietary iCloud data file within Outlook breaks so many other things that I need to use within Outlook. Does version 2 of iCloud Control Panel still work this way?

I already booked a Typekit-Account. And now got a Creative-Cloud-Membership. Can I only use the Typekit, booked by the cloud? Do I have to migrate?
Both accounts are booked with the same ID (E-Mail).

Hi Sven,
If your Creative Cloud subscription and your Typekit plan use the same Adobe ID, all you have to do now is sign in at typekit.com. This will automatically link your plans, and make sure that you aren't being billed twice.

When I open the “My Passport for MAC"; there is a a folder titled “Backups.backupdb”. When I open the folder there is a folder called "Paulevinemacpro”. When I open this folder there are numerous folder with date labels. When I open the one of these folders, there is folder called “MAC HD”. When I open this folder there are several folders titled; “Applications”, “Incompatible software”, “Library”, “System"; "User Guides and Information". How can I retriev past e-mails?

Rather than using the Finder to peruse Time Machine files you should use Time Machine directly. Open Mail to the folder from which you want to restore email and then pull down the Time Machine icon to Enter Time Machine. Select a date and time and which emails you want to restore and then click on Restore.

Thanks for the reply, good try, I thought of that myself and made sure of that this morning, but that is already all done, and as it happens, the contacts are exactly the same as in our other phone (3GS) which works perfectly, but the iphone 4 won't dial ANY local number, instead it tries to send an email. EVERY TIME. most frustrating. I am really trying to work out if there is a setting somewhere (like the area code etc) or if this is a warranty issue.

You would have to change your Apple ID back to your old hotmail address (https://appleid.apple.com ) in order to turn off "Find My iPhone" and change the iCloud ID. After you changed it back and verified your old hotmail address you should be able turn off "Find My iPhone" and to temporarily delete your iCloud account from your devices. After that you can change your Apple ID back to your gmail address again. After it is verfied, you could add back your iCloud account by using your gmail address.
