well i tried to send pictures from my ipod to my phone. I went to my camera roll selected the phone then clicked mail i put my phone number in and it wont send somebody please help me!!!!

You have to mail them to an email address. You can message them vai the iPhone's number.

Is there an email saved in your drafts or outbox folder? I suspect that Mail is continually trying to send it, and each time Google is rejecting the email message.
You can open the message and then delete it from your Outbox folder. Then try removing all @gmail email addresses from it and seeing whether you can send to the other folks. I suspect that will work.
With email, if an SMTP server *can* verify email addresses, sometimes it will and it will refuse to send messages. If a message has to be relayed across servers, no verification is done, and you'll get a bounce if an email address is bad.

My iMessage will not use wifi to send messages unless the phone is on Airplane mode

I cannot send or receive texts at home because there is insufficient service at my house so I use iMessage over wifi. The issue is that when I am on wifi and out of service the phone will not send iMessages or texts over wifi unless the phone is in Airplane mode. It tries to send them but it acts as if there is no service when I have full wifi and as soon as I switch to Airplane mode and keep wifi connected, all messages send fine.

Do the basic troubleshooting steps, as needed, described in the User Guide, Appemdix B: restart, reset, restore using a backup, restore as new.

This error looks like a carrier message. Does this person have an iOS device? It appears not, but this looks like an SMS error. I suggest that you contact your carrier to see if they can explain the error.

I stay in hotels alot and use my Airport Express to hard wire into hotel network. But hotels seem to have a sensor that will not allow any other device like my I-phone, I-pad to connect. Just one device and that's it. Is there a setting to cure this?

I stay in hotels often and use my Airport Express to hardwire into the hotel's network. This seems to work fine and allows my Macbook Pro to work wirelessly.
The problem is I cannot then hook up my Iphone or Ipad to the network. It seems the hotels have a sensor and only allow one device on their network at a time. Is there a setting in the setup of my Airport Express that might fix this problem?

If you have the AirPort Express setup in Bridge Mode, try changing the Connection Sharing setting to "Share a public IP address"
AirPort Utility - Manual Setup
Click the Internet icon
Connection Sharing = Share a public IP address

You will probably get a message about a Double NAT error. Click to "ignore"
This setting might allow mutliple devices to connect and may not. It's worth a try...I have about a 60-70% success rate at hotels with this setting.
Unfortunately, as you note....hotels have become a lot smarter about connections to their network. At some point, they probably will not even allow another router to connect at all.

I found the answer
All I had to do is to go to Settings
select Messages
and enable iMessage by verifying my Apple ID

TS1425 My IPod will not allow me to return to the beginning. I can press the menu button and it will not respond. I have also tried to reset by pressing both the menu and center but ther is no response to it. Help!

The wheel on my IPod nano, 5th generation is unresponsive when I try to use the menu part to go back to previous books. It's also unresponsive when I try to reset by pushing the menu and center in at the same time. Can anyone help?

If you have double checked to make sure the hold switch is not activated, it may be a hardware issue with the iPod's click wheel, meaning you'll need to have it serviced.
Before doing that though, it might help to try and restore to factory settings in iTunes as well to rule out a software issue.

Address book will not allow me to send a group email

After a recent upgrade to Snow Leopard, I seem to have lost the ability to send email using any of the "groups" which are in my address book. When I click on the group name only the first person of the group appears in the TO: line of the email. I have tried building new groups, disk utility permission repairs, disk check, restarting. I'm out of ideas. The address book works fine for individuals. Can I correct this problem?

this is a known bug in the address book plugin in Mail in Snow leopard. a workaround is to type the name of the group into the "to" field.
