My emails and chats are being shared, help!

I use airport to connect to the internet but my roommate can see my emails and chats in a log on his mac. how is this possible and how do I stop it?

Try a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo.

If you have a @me.com address, you can change the address you use to send email from using the drop down box in the from field in your email.

Yes, you stop using the same Apple ID under Settings > iCloud.

Since downloading iCloud, I am now receiving emails twice and also notes and photos are being doubled up. Any ideas?

iCloud is not downloaded, it is a part of iOS5.
Do you possibly have iCloud and a MobileMe account set up on the device? If so, remove the MobileMe account.

App Store is not opening. Email and Safari are opening but App Store does not saying cannot connect, App Store is not opening. Email and Safari are opening but App Store does not saying cannot connect

even with my phone connected on wifi App Store gives a message "cannot connect to App Store". This when email and Safari are working normally.

Mr Brett, thanks for the reply but my situation remains unchanged. Let me amplify my problem.
My Mac Book, iPad and iPhone are using the same WiFi connection. Every device is able to connect to the internet, email connectivity is good, safari is working perfectly, Apple Store is fully accessible (except on the iPhone) and updates have been received for IOS as well as the various apps.
It is only on the iPhone 6 that message"cannot connect to appstore...." is being displayed whenever App Store is invoked. Surprisingly if i keep pressing the "update" button the page indeed opens but only for a second and I have been able to press update buttons for apps in that second. The app is even getting updated even as the message "Cannt..." continues to be displayed. However, the other buttons like "Featured" "Top Charts" "Explore" and "Search" are not opening for at all. Only the message "Cannot connect to App Store" is displayed.

Is the mobile data connection (with your provider) up and running? Are you able to browse the web using the phone's browser? If no, this is most likely the reason why the issue is happening. Kindly coordinate with your Network Provider to get the correct Internet/APN settings via SMS. Save it on the phone so it will be configured.

Could you have logged into another account?
If you go to System Preferences>Users and Accounts what accounts are listed?
To show users at login go to the Login Options of chanck the box that says show list of users.
If they they are gone and you can't find them then restore them from a backup

You should sign out of iMessage on your other devices: "Settings > Messages > Send & Receive" then click on your Apple ID and sign out.

The app hasn't been updated in almost a year, so it may not be compatible with iOS 5 or 5.1. They have next to no support information on their web site, so you may need to email them:

The normal route for a single app that won't launch is to remove and reinstall it, but that would probably lose all your information unless you have it synched to a computer. I'd suggest contacting the developer.
Update: their Twitter feed says that they've had to do a number of updates for iOS 5.1 to fix an issue that was crashing all their apps under 5.1, and have submitted them to Apple. So stay tuned for a while and look for an update.

I've bought c3 for 1 months. Everyday i tries to log on to chat and mail, but my problem is it always shows a notification like this:
Mail: service temporary unavailable. try again later.
Chat: temporary service problem. Try again later code 503.
This is really annoying. I can still use store, communities, opera mini but totally not mail AND chat. Can anybody help me with this? Thank you so much.

You did have a successful creating of Mailbox right? What client are you on? If you were using Yahoo! Mail and is set it to POP3, it would not work since Yahoo! does not support POP3 (unless you're one Yahoo!Plus) and for the chat I use Nimbuzz as its way better.

That is a new feature described in Connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac using Continuity - Apple Support
You can turn it off by going to Settings > FaceTime and changing "iPhone Cellular Calls" to off.
You may also want to look into using separate Apple IDs for you and your wife. That is now more flexible with new Family Sharing features: http://www.apple.com/ios/whats-new/family-sharing/
