My emails are being automatically deleted in my inbox.

I have a comcast email account, and lately when I go to look at my inbox, all my old emails in the inbox have been deleted. Comcast says to contact you.

Firefox does not have any software that will filter the emails in your inbox. you should just check your email settings and disable the deletion of emails after a period of time. Don`t know how the comcast panel is but check your settings and you will surely find the solution there.

    Please also try to run Outlook under safe mode to avoid some AVs and add-ins.
    Please also try to run some Outlook Switch to refresh the calender reminder caches, then try to create the reminder again. Switch commands as below:
    /cleanreminders
    /cleanroamedprefs
    /cleansniff

    This if for the ones of you that are having the SMS deleting on their own.
    Select Menu\Options\Satus and look at your FILE FREE and if it is below 4,000,000 bytes you need to get rid of some pictures or calls logs and turn the device off and back on and check the file free again and if it is above 4,000,000 bytes your good to go and if NOT get a Micro SD memory card no larger that 2GB and save your music/ringtones/and pictures to it

    But in terms of my initial query; thanks for responding. But no, this is NOT the cause of the problem. I have auto sync and sync over wifi activated, but have also selected manually manage music and videos. Plus, all of my music and videos are on my macbook, absolutely all of it, so if it my phone was syncing with my macbook everything would still be on the phone. Life would be peachy if my phone jsut copied everything that was on my macbook, but unfortuantely it keeps deleting tracks for no apparent reason.
    Any thoughts greatly welcomed, because at the moment i can only conclude that my iphone is crap.

    It sounds like your Mail application is not checking for mail automatically anymore after updating to 10.10.2. It seems to me that the setting for this may have reset, or changed at some point thereafter so I would check the preferences for the Mail application:
    General preferences - Mail Help
    Check for new messages
    When Mail gets new messages from the mail server. By default, the option is set to Automatically (Mail varies how often it gets messages, based on whether your Mac is plugged into an electrical outlet).
    An IMAP account may get messages more frequently if the mail server supports the IDLE command; make sure the option to use it is selected in the account’s Advanced pane in Mail preferences.
    If you set the option to Manually, click the Get Mail button in the Mail toolbar to check for messages. (Whenever you click an IMAP or Exchange mailbox, it syncs with the server, and shows new messages.)

    Are you getting bounced spam messages? This simply means that someone is forging your address as the 'From' address, which is very easy to do. It's very annoying but it doesn't mean you've been hacked; unfortunately you can't really do anything about it but it usually stops after a bit as they move on to some other victim. As long as you don't have messages you didn't send in your 'sent' folder this is the most likely explanation, though changing your password might be a good idea on general principles (and make it a stong one).

    Outgoing emails are being reformatted (see image). This happens when text is pasted in and when emails are typed out in Thunderbird.
    This reformatting occurs even when sending to myself.
    Compose in HTML is on and all settings have been reset.

    What version of Exchange Server are you trying to connect to?
    Entourage can connect to Exchange Server 2003, but Outlook 2011 cannot. With Outlook 2011, you need at least Exchange Server 2007.
    If you happen to be trying to connect to Exchange Server 2003 with Outlook 2011, then two typical workarounds are:
    - If IMAP is turned on on Exchange Server 2003 -- it's off by default -- you can connect via IMAP rather than Exchange.
    - If you don't have IMAP but have Outlook Web Access, then you can use DavMail as a workaround.
