My emails wont push to my MacBook

It works on my iPhone, and the emails load whenever I manually open the application, but it wont push mail to my computer.
I have the preferences set to "Automatically check for new messages," which I assume is the same as push- Is that my problem? If not, what is?

I would start with signing out of all services that require signing into your Apple ID and then signing back in. Be sure to test the results after processing these steps.

My cloud email wont 'push' on my Ipad 2 when connceted to wifi?

Please help. I have recently got an IPad 2 and have an issue of my cloud e-mail not pushing when the iPad is connected to wi-fi. It pushes fine on 3g but just not when connected to wifi. My exchange account pushes successfully on both 3g and wifi. Colleagues are having the same problem with Gmail accounts as well.
I have already deleted the account and re-installed and done a hard reboot, all to no avail.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Email wont download onto iphone

since downloadig icloud onto my macbook my email wont download onto either phone or computer, only i pad

My iCloud account, it was working perfectly on the iPhone, it was only when I loaded the cloud onto the MacBook that things stopped working. My Mac account downloads only on to the iPad, not the MacBook or iPhone, or pc
I do hope you can help, I am sure it is just a box I have to tick or un-tick!

Email wont delete

I was going through my email and discovered that if i delete an email in mail on my macbook, it wont delete on my gmail account in a browser. And if i delete an email in a gmail browser, it wont delete in mail. Im still getting new emails so they are still connected but the just wont delete eachother. How can i set this up?

Google apps wont push iphone 4 ios5

I added my google apps account in mail the same way i did with my ipad 2 but in the iphone it wont push the mail ( only updates when i open mail app)

I deleted my Gmail/Exchange account on my phone and set it up again (exchange server) and now both my push mail and my calendar are working. Hoping it does for you, too.

You don't need to start a new thread to continue a conversation, you can just tack onto the original one. The settings I referred you to are for the Blackberry, since that's the device which is not receiving mail: anything which is working can be left alone.

Yep, I am still using iphone 3, but email wont sync, itunes wont find it

But since Feb 18 or so, my iphone 3 cannot add new email accounts, and existing email accounts cannot sync to get new email any more, even when wifi is active.
Also, my iphone 3 can no longer be recognized by itunes any more.
Did Apple do some trick to block older iphones, such as mine, to work?

ok....itunes now recognizes my iphone 3, that was due to a bad connection.
But still, emails wont sync. When adding gmail account, after a pause, it will come back and say, Cannot Connect Using SSL (Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL?)

how do I set up the email on the my new MacBook Pro to receive "me" email on my Mac. I would like to use Entourage if possible but anything would be good.

The steps you follow to set up Mac OS X Mail to receive your MobileMe email depend on which version of Mac OS you’re using.
Important: For the instruction below, use the following: MobileMe Mail’s incoming mail server is “mail.me.com” and the outgoing mail server it “smtp.me.com.”
To set up Mac OS X Mail to receive MobileMe mail:
If you’re using Mac OS X version 10.4.11 or later
Open System Preferences (under the Apple icon at the upper-left of your computer screen).
Click MobileMe (if you have Mac OS X version 10.5.3 or later), or .Mac (if using version 10.4.11 to 10.5.2), and enter your MobileMe member name and password.
Open Mac OS X Mail, choose Mail > Preferences, and then click Accounts.
Click the Add button at the lower-left of the Accounts pane. Choose MobileMe from the Account Type pop-up menu, and then enter your account information.
The member name and password you use for SMTP authentication must match the member name and password in the User Name and Password fields.
To switch to POP, delete the existing IMAP account before you create the new POP account. Choose POP Account from the Account Type pop-up menu instead of MobileMe Account.

Email wont open at all?

I updated my phone recently and now my emails wont open at all. it goes to a blank screen with refresh and new button at the bottom then just shuts down to the home screen. All of my email accounts are set up correctly and were working fine before, heck they worked up until about a week later.

No I can't send emails and I can't access the Internet either. In settings it says I'm connected. ........the Internet isn't connecting now on all things. I can open iTunes but not safari. MY NUMBERS WONT PUSH TO CLOUD OR BACK

If i make a chart in numbers it wont push to cloud. if i inport a chart to the clould off my pc, it wont push to numbers. data is on in i cloud. mail and calender works. just not numbers. Have ununstalled and installed twice, still wont work

The desktop/Mac OS X versions of the iWork apps have not been updated to take advantage of iCloud yet. In the meantime you can go to iCloud.com, sign in & click the iWork icon where you can upload & download files. You could also try e-mail or Dropbox.

2.0.1 & 2.0.2 Exchange Email Not Pushing

Once I updated my 3G phone to 2.0.1 and now recently 2.0.2 my Exchange and Mobile Me email does not get pushed to my phone. I had no problems with emails getting pushed prior to the update. Nothing has been changed on my companies exchange server. The only way that I receive any email is to actually open the email application on the phone. It then will pull the messages from the server.

Yes, I've restarted, restored and set-up as a new phone. Same problems.
I have 2 email accounts set-up:
1. Mobile Me Account
2. Exchange Account
Everything worked fine until these recent updates.

01.) Plug iPhone into computer
02.) Sync the phone in order to back up your latest info.
03.) Restore iPhone in iTunes
04.) When restore completes, ignore the "set up as new phone" or "restore from backup" screen and just unplug the phone from the computer.
05.) Once unplugged, slide to unlock and tap on the email icon.
06.) Tap on your email type to setup (for me it was gmail)
07.) Enter your email information.
08.) Load your email and let it download a bunch of emails.
09.) Plug phone back into computer. The "set up as new phone" and "restore from backup" screen will pop up again.
10.) Choose "restore from backup" and select your last backup.
11.) Wait until complete.
