My entries for serial number, apple id, and passwords are rejected. I need serious help. Thank you all.
On my IMac using Yosemite 10, I cannot find any of my passwords. When I enter information that is mine, I see it's not valid. Cannot seem to get help anywhere. I don't know my keychain password so cannot find my lost passwords. Any help you all can give me will be so very appreciated. I am a little old 80 year old Apple user who is out of her depth trying to fix the problems. Thank you all and hurry.

Where did you seek help from? If your iMac is still under warranty and/or you have AppleCare, you can call Apple tech support. Since you have an iMac, a tech will come to your home to troubleshoot if it cannot be done over the phone.
I don't know my keychain password so cannot find my lost passwords.
Finder>Go>Utilities>Keychain Access.app. You do not need a password.
Anybody else has access to your comp?

You definitely need to resurrect the old password associated with the Apple ID you used to purchase the music.

An email will be sent to the email address associated with that account with instructions regarding resetting that Apple ID's password.
If you no longer have access to that email, the resolution to this problem becomes considerably more difficult. In that event you would need to contact iTunes Support and explain your dilemma. -

If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

I'm in Afghanistan with limited internet options. I have a wifi service plan I am signed up for however, a log in and password are required via browser log in, not a security key attached to the wifi (like a hotel). Please help...
the appletv will not be able to work on it's own
you can use a computer or iphone acting the role of hotspot login using it's browser and getting internet access and then sharing it with the appletv
so the appletv sees it as a wifi router it connects to -

Keeps prompting for other's Apple ID and passwords
My Music (I think) keeps prompting me to imput other people's Apple IDs and passwords. I recognize the names but don't have their passwords. We had shared music in the past (years ago) but I have never had a problem with being asked to input credentials. I recently moved from Music Match then back to it. The problem started at the second iteration of Music Match.
Is there a way to find and delete songs not purchased with my Apple ID. Maybe even locate music purchased with a specific Apple ID (I have a couple, my wife's etc.).
This phenomenon seems to happen immediatly after I sync with iTunes.
Thanks in advance.You’ve run into the one problem with the newer Operating Systems (10.7, 8, 9). They are tied to the users Apple ID and password so that no one else can re-download them. The older Operating Systems (10.6, 5) came on a DVD and could be used by anyone. Just pop in the DVD and erase the drive and reinstall.
You can order a 10.6 install disk from Apple and after installing it use the App Store to order 10.7 Lion with your Apple ID and password.

i am having trouble using apps with my apple id and password? it is saying it is not correct but the one I used is how I got to this site and activated my phone? Why is it not letting me log on to apps with ID and password?

I have tried and tried to reset my Apple ID and password and on each web page (under Itunes) it has shown that the information was completely reset and no problems were noticed. When I have put this information into my iphone 4 in order to download my (now 35) updates, the phone says that the password is not correct. I have seriously attempted each step of these two processes at least 20 times but to no avail. Please help and thank you all for sharing.
Maybe the apps were downloaded using a different Apple ID.
Check using iTunes > Get Info on one of the apps. -
Can't set up iCloud at all even though my Apple ID and password are correct
I can log into my iTunes store to download items with my Apple ID and password,
However, when I tried to sign into iCloud, this pop up appears

To enable you account, reset your password at iforgot.apple.com.
I reset my password for about 5 times or more, but the same message appears.

Launch iTunes on your computer.
From the iTunes menu bar click iTunes / Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Click: Reset warnings and Reset cache
Click OK.
Restart the computer and device.
See if you can sign into iCloud. -

The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required.

It connects to internet fine. I have tried restoring back to factory condition and hard wire update by connecting it to my Mac mini .
The date and time won't set. And won't acknowledge my Apple ID and password......... I am usually tech savy but this has caused me grief .
Do I need to downgrade my update....
But can't get any menus until I log in my apple account...
It can't log into my iTunes account until time and date have been set.
When I did the hard wire restore connected to Mac mini it wouldn't go past the date and time screen as it wouldn't when I did the wifi update too.
it just would get past that screen.
