My events just show up as a dot on the calendar - can I get them to show under the calendar?

New to iphone Calendar! After syncing events, they just show up as dots on the calendar - is there a way to have each months events listed under the calendar month they're scheduled for?

Check out some of the calendar apps in the app store. I use "Week Calendar" - even in month mode, it only lists todays events (screen space is pretty limited afterall), but it has a proper week view with events listed in each day's column.

I have many series - NCIS, West Wing etc where some episodes appear under the series and some appear on their own.
I have checked the info anf they appear to be identical.
How do I get them to group together corectly?

After a couple of days, I'm noticing that the repeat(ing) offenders have more than 10 episodes, and seem to keep repeating them every time I sync.
They only show once in my phone and in the iTunes Podcasts, but through iTunes and looking at what's in my phone is when I see the repeats.
Even after I've marked a podcast as played, and deleted it from within my phone, as well as telling iTunes to delete the played episodes, it still shows multiples of the played episodes.
There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it either. They aren't the newest ones either.

I encountered a similar problem when finally (and with much regret) I was obliged to migrate my MobileMe to iCloud last month.
Many years of iCal history vanished without trace during this automated transition by Apple and iCloud then kindly synched the resulting vacuum back to iCal on my Mac.
Fortunately, iCloud wasn’t able to decimate iCal on my other Macs because (1) they are still running Snow and (2) I had switched them off as a precaution. Good job I did.
My solution was to export my iCal data on one of those other Macs to a backup file – then I imported that backup file into my Lion-updated Mac’s iCal. That restored all the iCloud-deleted iCal data back on to my Mac and this was promptly synched automatically to my Calendar on iCloud. So now it’s all there and showing.
Perhaps you could do something similar? In the meantime, be very careful not to let iCloud’s amnesia get synched to your iPhone (and other devices).
Experience has taught me never to trust an “upgrade” until it is proven to be working correctly and always to keep in reserve another Mac with a properly-functioning system and all synching to it switched off...

I'm having the identical problem on my iPhone 4 after upgrading to IOS 7--no ability to update apps or download new apps. Here is what Apple tech support emailed to me:
I understand that you are unable to download or update applications after updating iOS7 on your iTunes. I know you must be eager to get this resolved and I will be happy to help you today.

1) Double tap the home button
2) Hold down on an icon
3) Tap the red "X" on iTunes, and the App Store.

7) Tap Reset
8) Tap Network Settings
Once it has been closed with multi-tasking, and you have rebooted the device in the network settings reset, please sign in, and try again.

Mildly amusing that the instructions for force-closing a program are the IOS 6 instructions, which do not work on IOS 7.
Otherwise I'm having a little success with this. Some apps (not all) are updating. It seems that a few more apps update each time I go through the process (close everything, sign out, and either reset or reboot, then go to the app store, sign in and try to update all). So far it has been a very lengthy, iterative process.

Where are you looking on your iPad for the shows? In iTunes? If so, look under Videos.

If you are attempting to share to both at the same time, you can't.
Are you selecting the second AppleTV in home sharing options on the MBP. Are all devices signed in for Home Sharing with the same AppleID?

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.

iTunes Store purchases are treated a bit differently than other music in your library. If you have authorized music purchases from the iTunes store on your phone and your computer is authorized for that same account, you can transfer purchased tunes from the phone to the computer -- whether you purchased them on the iPhone or on the computer. On my iMac my photos are in Pictures, not in iPhoto. They are numbered to keep them in sequence on my Imac, but they do not show in sequence on my AppleTV. How do I get them to show in sequence, (start of vacation to end of vacation) ? THANKS!

All of my photos are in folders under the "Finder", "Favorites", "Pictures" category on my IMac. ( Mac OSX version 10.7.5) Each folder has sequentially numbered photos to keep them in order for viewing. For example, my folder titled " Travel - Hong Kong 2004" has 50 photos in it showing the trip from start to finish, each photo numbered 111, 112, 113, etc. I do not use any 0's, so the numerical sequence will go 118, 119, 121, 122. This process works well to keep the photos of my trip in sequence when I am looking at them on my IMac.
When I watch the same folder on my Apple TV the photos are displayed randomly. The Apple TV is instructed not to shuffle the photos on slideshow. Can anyone tell me how I can get my photos to show in sequence on Apple TV? My Apple TV is Model MC 572C/A and the software is 5.2.1 (6025) updated today. Thanks very much!

I can't recall whether slideshows are ordered by title or date, but you can manually re-arrange the albums in iPhoto, then batch change them once you have the order you want.

TS3276 When I create a new message, my icons to send and attach don't show in that message. They do when I reply to a message. How can I get them to show up again?

From the message window itself, there's no way to send mail - no send arrow - and there's no paper clip icon to attach a doc. I can do it from the menu bar, but not in the message window. What's up?

Thanks for the question. It sounds like the toolbar for your compose window has either been hidden, or these icons have been removed. To resolve your issue, follow these steps:

Choose which items to include in the toolbars, and how they appear and are arranged.
1. Display the Mail window whose toolbar you want to change.
2. Control-click the toolbar, then choose Customize Toolbar.
3. Drag items to and from the toolbar, and change how they appear in the toolbar.
          - When you drag an item to the toolbar, a green icon indicates you’re adding it.
          - When you drag an item from the toolbar, visual and sound effects indicate it has been removed.
          - To rearrange items, drag an item to a new location in the toolbar.
          - To change how items appear, choose an option from the Show pop-up menu.
4. When you’re ready, click Done.
When you resize a window, toolbar items can become hidden as the window narrows. When this happens, click the double right arrows to display a list of the hidden items.

Firefox and Thunderbird have somehow become corrupted in the last two days and I have had to download and reinstall both. By this I mean when I tried to start, a box popped up saying it crashed and it would not correct. I had to redownload and reinstall
Firefox shows my bookmarks toolbar, and most of the icons are correct. There are a few icons that 'disappeared' and in their place is a generic kind of box. Won't show the icon or the name.

That is the new default icon replacement used in Firefox 8+.
