there any other way. Also everytime I went to open address book in user settings it went to his page and at the top it said 'me'. I tried to change all the setting and stuff but figured it was just easier to set up a new user id and delete his, not sure if that was correct. Anyways I have now set up my new user id, made myself the admin and deleted his user id. however, i had moved my files from his to mine via the shared folder and then deleted the shared folder. Now I am wanting to deleted his folder from my trash but it wont. Its saying that there are 83,000 something files and it is taking an eternity, and or just stops.. I tried to delete the locked files other ways but it says i don't have permission. i contacted him and asked that he delete my files if he has them but he has not responded as yet... can someone please help me to understand how this happened or if it even did is there a way that it did? It seems like a huge breach of privacy and I am not happy about it!!!!!

Is this your machine or the company's? Machines that came with Snow Leopard or earlier installed come with system and software install disks that can be used to reisntall the iApps that came with the machine orignally.
If this is your machine and it came with Snow Leopard or earlier installed the disk will look slimialr to one of these:
If it is the company's machine see if they have the disks.
Do a custom install and then use Software Update to update iPhoto to the highest version that is available.

If your phone is in recovery mode (You see the iTunes graphic on the phone), you MUST connect the device to a computer and restore the operating system. There is no supported way to get around it. The device had a problem installing the update and it crashed. Sorry.

All apps are tied to the Apple ID they are purchased with and is not transferable.
You should delete them and re-download them with your new Apple ID.

Apps are permanently linked to the Apple ID used for download and cannot be transferred to another. You have to use yourdad's ID or redownload under your own so you will the own the apps.

Unlink your appleID from her account. Have her sign in, and remove your ID from her account. That should free it up.

Go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

There could be many causes. What happens when you try to use it. also try adding it again.

If it is still under warranty you can call the 800 number to apple and enter the serial number and it will tell you if it is under warranty or not if not its like $30 basically for them to help or something like that it said today when i called...
Or take it to a genius bar if you have one near?

You will need to remember or find the id that you used, without it you won't be able to re-activate your phone - if you are on the activation screen then does that show the first letter of the id and the email provider's name ?
Do you know if you have any of the account's downloads in computer's iTunes library - if you do then you can get the id form that : Recovering a forgotten iTunes Store account name.
If not then see if you can find it via http://appleid.apple.com : Apple ID: How to find your Apple ID.

Just out of curiosity, why did you elect to use a different id?. That seems to always make things difficult. If you have not had the pad for long, or have not bought a lot of stuff Nader the new id, you might want to think about erasing all content, turn off find my phone, wiping the pad and starting over.
You can sync 2 different ids ( at least move pictures, books and music back and forth) if you are syncing through I tunes on your computer, but I don't think you can cross feed I cloud streams.

You can set up your iCloud account on your iOS device under: "Settings > iCloud" and a other account for store purchases under "Settings > iTunes & App Stores". Unfortunately merging accounts is not possible but you could transfer all of your music manually via iTunes from your Mac or PC.
