My experiences signing up with the Three network (UK)
I ordered a Three Sim card from Apple on 21st April. It arrived on 5th May and was the wrong one. So I went into the local Three shop and bought one there. I asked when the month would start and was told it would be when I connected. (This was wrong; it began when I registered.) I took the card home, registered online and put the card in my iPad. The iPad recognised the presence of the Sim card, but I had no 3G connection.
The instructions with the Sim card were minimal and there was no help on Three's website. In the end I phoned up Three's helpline. The documentation with the Sim card says that this helpline costs 5p per minute. In fact, it costs 5p per minute plus VAT. I was almost 15 minutes on hold (at 5p + VAT per minute) before getting a representative, who quickly solved my problem. All I had to do was Reset Network Settings and I was connected.
I had some complaints about the whole process, mainly about lack of information. For example, my first month began on 5th May, though I only connected on the 6th, but then it restarted on the 10th and I received a bill for £1.24 for the 5 days. it took me some time to work out what this was for. Mostly I put the problems down to lack of thought and care on the part of the company and shrugged my shoulders - Three doesn't have a good reputation for customer care - but the charge for the helpline I really resented. I felt I was being held to ransom.
I'll stay with Three for now, because the service they offer is a good one. they have the best coverage and the package I bought (1GB per 30 days is £7.50) is the best priced. But as soon as one of the other providers produces a comparable package, I'll move. I don't have warm feelings towards Three.

Ok, then do the same thing as before, EXCEPT do not click accounts, but click preferences under "messages". Then click accounts and disable the one you don't want.

So I got my curve 9360 about 3 months ago and last night I got a message from blackberry saying "Your handheld has been registered with the wireless network". I don't have a data plan but after I got this message I was able to go on the internet without wifi.. I thought it was extremely weird and I was scared my carrier, Rogers, will charge me so I turned my data off. I asked my dad today and he said I could use it and we won't pay if they charge me.. I've heard through the Rogers support forums that Rogers is offering a free data trial to its users. I haven't seen anything official yet, but I've heard that on atleast two occasions so far.
For that reason, I would go ahead and enjoy your free data while it lasts. If you're really worried about it, call Rogers to confirm it. Just remember, you never signed a data plan agreement with them so they can't charge you for it.

Do you store your passwords in the browser? If so, you may want to update them to make sure that they are trying to login with the right credentials: [[Password manager - Remember, delete and change saved passwords in Firefox]]
If that is not the case, it may be an old stored cookie: [[Delete cookies to remove the information websites have stored on your computer]] -
Got the dreaded no wifi on my wife's iPhone 4S. Wifi greyed out and no luck with the reset network instructions. Why isn't Apple addressing this issue? Come on Apple.....get this issue sorted out!Just out of warranty. This is a software issue. everything was ok until the software update. Apple just need to sort it out.

I have registered on my PC two devices iPhone 5 and iPod Touch 4 now I am using only the iPhone 5. I have two different apple ID`s and yesterday I have FB update and from app store wanted to sign in with the ID form iPod Touch 4 how to fix it? I want to use my current Apple ID not the old one. I changed my email address for my apple id but icloud still has old email adress and when I try to signout so I can sign in with new address it asks for password and then says invalid so I cannot delete the account to sign in with the new one! Please help
OK...now I appear to 'progressed' I changed my email address back to original on Apple id and then was able to delete icloud account. Apparently I couldnt do it as it kept requesting password when I entered passsword ( both old and new one, it wouldnt accept it as it had my old email address in ) It didnt do that on ios6 . Anyway I deleted account, but now I tried to login in with my new id/password and it says unable as already in use!!! More help needed please! Its a nightmare!!

Open the Mac App Store and go to Purchases. Do you see Final Cut Pro X listed?
If so, open a Finder window, choose Applications in the sidebar and delete Final Cut Pro X. Then, go to the Mac App Store and download Final Cut Pro X for free.

I have just come back from morocco where my phone worked ok using the morroco network, but since returning to the uk I can't get it to pick up a signal from the 'Three' network, have tried resetting etc but still wont work, any suggestions

Quit Safari, find the com.apple.Safari.plist file in your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder, drag it to the Desktop, log out/in or restart and let us know what happens.

Are you the original owner of this phone? If so sign in with the Apple ID and password you used when you first set it up.
Or did you buy is phone used? Contact the person you bought it from and have him/her correct the problem or refund your money.
You have encountered activation Lock that prevents stolen or lost phones from being activated. As stated the only way around this problem is to have the original owner clear the phone for your use. -
My phone doesn't make and receive calls. It doesn't have coverage where other iPhones with the same network do. Please, let me know how way I sort this problem out?
My wife is having the exact same issue after updating to the new iOS 8.1.1 and we've tried all the same steps even restoring the phone as a new phone. We've contacted our service provider and they've told us to go to apple to potentially "remove" her serial number from their servers to allow it to work properly on the service we have. We are desperate as purchasing a new phone right now is not an option and she desperately needs her phone for work and life.

Is it possible that you or someone who knows your iCloud sign on went into the Find My iPhone app and erased your device via iCloud? Because that is what that message is saying.
Have you tried to sign on with your Apple ID and password?
Was it online prior to this incident happening?

Hey all, Ive tried my best to find a solution to my problem so hopefully someone can help.
When my Tom Tom Sat Nav app said I should delete the App before reinstalling the App but when I tried too the App was showing up as not purchased and had the price. Ive tried turning the phone on and off. Resetting the Phone. Ensuing that I am signed in with the right User ID. Ive tried changing the location back to the one I purchased the App from as well. Now Im really sure what to do. Any help would be much appreciated.No it does not show their either.
Just to be sure how do I know iClouds os on?

Can I turn off the iMessage typing indicator bubble with the three dots off?
I currently use software on iOS 6 that disables my outgoing bubble with the three dots that lets whoever I'm communicating with know that I'm typing. I want to update to iOS 7, but can't find any information about whether the option to disable the indicator is present in the new settings. Thanks in advance to anyone who can't point me in the right direction.

You only see them if someone is iMessaging you. You won't see them for SMS. They've been there since iMessages was released. -

Use that iD to sign and use the iPod.
You can go to Settings>iTunes and App stores and change the ID for purchases. The ID is also used in Settings>FaceTime, Setting>iCloud, Settings>Messages>Send abd receive and Settings>Game Center and can ne changed in those locations. -
I can't sign in with the YouTube app that comes with my iPhone?
For some reason I can't sign into YouTube using the preinstalled app on my iPhone 4. I can sign in okay with Safari. Any ideas. I've tried the 2 step verification setup with Google but either I'm not signing in with the special password correctly or it's not working.
