My extensions have stopped working. They appear in the Add-on list as installed, but they don't load with Firefox.

I have many extensions downloaded. They all worked earlier today, but now none of them are working. They appear in the add-on list as installed, but they don't load. I cannot find them anywhere in any Tools or Options. I use Speed Dial, Read It Later, etc., and they're all gone.

You can delete the files extensions.* (extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox [[Profiles|profile folder]] to reset the extensions registry. New files will be created when required.

If you see disabled extensions that are not compatible on the next start in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the "Find Updates" button to do a compatibility check.

I am having issues with MLBtv, when I switch on my ATV it no longer comes up as an option nor does vimeo or the iTunes store, i've tried resets etc and after those they appear. put the tav into sleep mode and mysteriously they don't re appear. Any ideas?

I am having the same issue but mine is with Netflix. And there are only 4 categories now on the main menue when there used to be 5. Something went crazy with ATV software.

I have an iPod shuffle 4th generation and an iPod Nano 5th generation . The Nano wheel appears to have stopped working - I can't get it to play or anything. I've done the reset and it worked the first time, but now the only way I can get it to play anything is to shake it and go with the shuffle choices - I can't change volume, song, pause or turn it off.
So, I decided to start using the Shuffle which I was given as a present last year. I've plugged it into my laptop (running windows 8 and newest version of iTunes). It appears in iTunes on the left hand side, but when I click to sync (whether I tick sync all or choose artists) it says synched but has no music. It seems to not be linked to the music library - when I tick synch all songs, next to the "sync music" it says 0 songs?
Any help to fix either would be really appreciated - I'm without any music at the moment and I'm going away this weekend!

I have installed the java plugin but it does not appear in my add-on list. I have RedHat linux OS using the Firefox 24.2.0 browser.

I have already followed your advice for removing the plugins.dat file from the .mozilla directory. The plugin still hasn't appeared in the add-on list. Does anybody have any idea what could be going on?

It's under utilities in the window menu.
If the simple PDF works, that may indicate a problem with the file after all, but one way to to force the export to the foreground is to create a new Book (File > New > Book), then add the file that's giving you trouble to that book. (a Book is just a container format used to combine multiple .indd files into a single output)
From the Book panel flyout menu you can export to PDF and see what that does. Failure indicates a file problem, success a background task problem.
It's a little odd that you aren't getting an error message....
Anyway, if the problem is the file, try export in two halves. If both halves export, it's a system resources problem and not much you can do other than attempt to see what is using all the memory (probably some large complex vector object, or many vector objects) or just do the export in chunks that work and combine them in Acrobat Pro. If one half fails, try exporting half fo the failing half at a time. Keep dividing the failing half until you isolate a page with the problem.

I'm sure I will be calling AppleCare, but the problem is, they charge for the phone calls don't they? Because I don't have money to be spending to be on the phone with a support service.
In other things, it seemed like the only time my MacBook was working was when I had Snow Leopard without the 10.6.8 update download that was supposed to be done to prepare for OS X Lion.
When I look at the information of my HD it says that I have 10.6.8 but that was the install that it claimed to have failed and caused me to restart resulting in all of the repeated problems.
Also, because my computer is currently down, and I've lost all files how would that effect the use of my iPhone? Because if it doesn't get fixed by the time OS 5 is released, how would I be able to upgrade?!

Messages have stopped working

Why have my messages have stopped working on my ipad and how can i fix it? I've cleared them and turned message off and on again but neither have helped. Everything else appears to still be working, internet, mail, app and itunes downloads, so it just seems to be messages. They get to about 80% sent and then it returns a delivery failed error.

What a load of rubbish. I have had no problems at all with any of my 4 email servers until I downloaded ios7. Are you telling me all 4 servers have issues. I don't think so! I have 4 email accounts on here and cannot receive anything on any of them. I'm not the only one and you are refusing to acknowledge there is a problem. I have a lot of emails on my ipad which need to be saved so I cannot delete the account off here and put the mail settings on again as I believe I will lose all of the emails. These are important messages. I would never do an apple update again!!! I now cannot use emails at all on my ipad so its is now useless to me. Should have bought a samsung.
