My EZ Vinyl Converter software won't export songs to ITunes

Can't export songs from EZ Vinyl Converter to ITunes.   Would prefer to Windows Media Player...either would do.  Have tried all the tricks I know...but I'm still not very good on the pc.    This software worked for me years ago.  Please help.

I have iTunes 11.0.04.4 and my ION EZ Vinyl converter sofware cannot seem to connect with iTunes. Is there a patch I can download?

Yes. you should keep your media in iTunes, and indeed you should also keep a backup of your library as well. if you have the device set up for manual management then the content would remain on it when deleted from the library, but you would have no way to restore the device if there was a problem.

  • 1st generation won't transfer songs from iTunes without factory reset

Hi, my 1st gen won't transfer newly purchased songs from iTunes. I've tried checking for downloads but it checks and states "just checked for downloads"
Also attempted restarting, but that didn't help. Only way I can get it to transfer is a factory reset.

ones had an issue a bit like that with my 1g Apple TV what fixed it for me was to unpair the computer in the appletv settings and then rebind it
sure it took ages to sync everything over again but it fixed it
think I've done it 2 times over the years

  • Ipod Touch - Garageband - export song to Itunes - Windows 7

    Hello !
    I have a problem:
How can I export a song in Ipod Touch to Itunes (my Windows 7 PC) ?
If I share it with Itunes, I cannot find the song on my Windows PC in Itunes.
Who can I help me ?
I just want to save my songs to my PC.
    Thank you in advance !

You can try going to Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and setting and then try setting up via iTunes. If still problem then set up via wifi and go to an Apple Store
    For how to restore:
    iTunes: Restoring iOS software
    To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

  • My work computer won't access songs from iTunes Match

Here's what happened: I started using iTunes Match about a month ago. I had a 7500+ song library on my Hewlett Packard Windows 7 64bit laptop. I did the matching process and about 3000 songs were unmatched. Match started to upload them and it took forever (I have a slow internet connection at home), so I took a hint from a poster at Apple Support and copied my library to a portable disk which I brought to my office. I tried to get the iTunes on my work computer to recognize the library on the portable disk, but couldn't do it, so I copied the whole library to my hard drive at work, reinstalled iTunes, and it recognized the new library. It then uploaded all my songs in an hour or two.
Then, I decided I didn't want my whole library to be taking up tens of GB of space on my office computer, so I deleted the music portion of the iTunes Media folder--I figured, it will all be available via streaming from iTunes Match, right? Well, it wasn't. Now when I log onto iTunes, all but a very small number of songs are unavailable: they are listed as being in the Library, but when I click on them to stream them, I get the error message "The song "x" could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" If I click "Yes", I am taken to the local music library on the work computer, which contains next to nothing.
I have deleted and re-installed iTunes. No help. I have turned off Match and turned it back on. No help. I have updated Match. Nothing.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong and how to get my work computer iTunes to stream my Match results?

Figured it out! All you have to do is select all songs (from the Edit menu), right click on them and "delete" them. You won't actually delete them, they're still there in the cloud, but now the little download cloud symbol appears and I can stream all my music at work.
One warning--if the cloud download symbol is already there, don't delete the song. Just go through after selecting the songs and de-select any song with a cloud symbol next to it, otherwise it will be deleted from the cloud, too.
I figured this out all on my own with no help from Apple. Typical.

  • Export Song List -itunes- to Excel (with BPM)

Hi, trying to export my Itunes library song list to excel. When I do it, it exports most of the info but not the column BPM (Beats per minute). I need this one more than any as a DJ. Why is it not exporting? Any ideas? Everything else looks fine.
    Thanks
    Matthew

OK, let's try the hard way.
iTunes keeps an XML copy of your Library data in Music:iTunes:iTunes Music Library.xml. iTunes only writes to this file as a quasi-backup of the real database at the heart of iTunes - "iTunes Music Library".
The XML file does contain the BPM data. Depending on your familiarity with XML you may be able to easily parse out the data yourself rather than relying on iTunes' Export command.

  • 3rd Gen. IPOD-Won't load songs from Itunes.

My sister gave me her 10 GB 3rd Gen Ipod, and it didn't come with the software. I used the Ipod updater and loaded the latest software. Itunes opens when I plug in the Ipod, but a window comes up that says the songs cannot be copied onto this Ipod.
All the songs have been imported from CDs, so I don't understand.
    Please help!
    Thanks,
    Jess

The message you got - did it go something like The iPod "whatever" is linked to another iTunes music library. Do you want to change the link to this iTunes library and replace all existing songs....
If so, you should click on the affirmative answer and then you can sync.

  • Nano won't play songs and iTunes won't recognize it.

After disconnecting my Generation 5 Nano from my clock radio yesterday, the nano would freeze every time I tried to play a song. Any song. I've tried about everything, with my goal now to just "restore" the nano.
I reset it 25 or more times with select/menu.
I reset the settings numerous times.
Tried resetting it by going into Safe Mode (select/play) many, many times.
Tried to restore by hooking up to iTunes, which doesn't recognize my nano (although the computer sees it).
Upgraded to iTunes 11 -- No change.
Tried a different computer. No change. Still not recognized, although, again, the computer (Windows) does.
Tried different USB ports. No change.
Tried "iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows" and all the different Windows fix possibilities -- nothing worked.
The only thing that has changed through all of this is that now when I click on a song, the screen swipes briefly over the acyual cover art song screen, then comes back to the song to click on again.  So, now it's now freezing, just not playing.  Other things like a few short saved videos, games, etc, do work fine.
If appears to me that I have a catch 22. I need to restore the nano, but can only restore through iTunes, which doesn't recognize my Nano.
Is there any other way to restore it?
    Dennis

Replying to myself. Kept trying different areas of the ipod this evening, clicking various buttons, including some I'd never used before. All of a sudden I could see my Nano in iTunes. I quickly clicked on Restore before iTunes changed its mind about recognizing the iPod. Moved some songs onto it and it appears to be back to normal.  Keeping my fingers crossed.

  • IPhone won't sync songs to iTunes since 3.1.2 update

    Strange issue.
    - I updated to the new 3.1.2 this evening.
    - I was prompted after install if I wanted to sync up some songs that were on exclusively on my iPhone to iTunes (I clicked yes).
    - Now, all the songs that were on my iPhone (all previous purchases from my computer through iTunes and uploaded to iPhone at some point) are unavailable in iTunes because it says my computer is not "Authorized".
    - I get prompted to Authorize my computer. I authorize it. Then get a message saying "This computer is already authorized".
I've Deauthorized and then authorized my computer in hopes that this will help but to no avail. The songs on my iPhone are still ONLY on my iPhone and unable to sync to iTunes. These are still listed in my iTunes library but they have the exclamation mark next to them and cannot be located on my hard drive or sync'd back from my iPhone.
Any help or guidance would be much appreciated!

Resolved. This had more to do with synching up with a new laptop just purchased (and authorizing against an older account name) than it did with 3.1.2. The problem wasn't identified until after I had downloaded the new iPhone update however.
All is well in the world

  • IPod won't transfer songs to iTunes

    Hi,
I just got a Mac Mini, but I already had an iPod nano 3rd gen. before I got it. Now I want to transfer my songs from my iPod to iTunes, so I right click on my iPod icon in iTunes when it is connected, and click "Transfer Purchases", but a message pops up saying the songs cannot be transfered because the computer is not authorized. After this popped up I followed the instructions to authorize my computer, and a message even said that the computer was authorized successfully. I followed the same procedure to transfer my songs, but once again the message saying my computer wasn't authorized came up. Any ideas on how to help?

First, make sure you're authorizing your Mac Mini with the same iTunes account that was used to purchase the music that's on the iPod. I'd suggest putting the iPod into manual mode: Click the iPod on the left hand column, and on the Summary page, select the option that says "Manually manage music and video." Then, click Apply in the lower right-hand column. If you click on the triangle pointing toward your iPod in the left-hand column, you should see "Music" underneath the iPod. Click on it. This displays the songs on your iPod. Click on a purchased song, and then click File > Get Info. The Summary tab of the resulting window should tell you the iTunes account that was used to purchase the song.
If you're definitely authorizing for the correct account, try this article:

  • EZ Vinyl converter to I Tunes problem

Hello, I am converting my old LPs to MP3 using an ION turntable and EZ Vinyl converter software. The turntable combined with the software records the music fine, when I click to finish, the software automatically transfers to Itunes....so far so good. But when the Itunes program is opened a box comes up indicating that EZ Vinyl Converter is "UNABLE TO EXPORT TO I TUNES.PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CLOSE ANY ACTIVE WINDOWS IN I TUNES"
What happens next is that certain tracks are exported to I tunes, but some are missing and most of the ones that are exported are duplicated. Any ideas anyone ?
    Many thanks.

Thanks for your input ed2345. As I explained Audacity is complicated but you can record simply without having to wade through reams of instructions, the only thing is that LPs are recorded as one file or song, so when you transfer to ITunes it is treated as one song, so you cannot search for each individual track as you can if you load a CD to ITunes.
There is a ficility on Audacity to have a break between each song so you can then search each track individually, but then that means you have to learn the editing side of Audacity and here lies the problem for me. I have spent the last 4 nights in bed for at least 30 minutes each night reading the Audacity instructions and I am only 10% through them and to be honest I am no farther ahead.
On the EZ vinyl converter software that is so simple, there is a facility when recording the make a marker at the end of each track so then a new file or track is started.....the only thing is EZ Vinyl converter software has a problem at the moment !
Anyway, here I am with 100s of LPs and not able to listen to them yet.
    Many thanks.

  • Ez vinyl converter

My ez vinyl converter won't properly with iTunes since I upgraded iTunes.
The music get stored in the 'recently added' playlist as temporary files and the album and track names are not saved. This used to work great before the upgrade.
What do I need to do the get it working again?

  • After installing the latest version of iTunes , I can no longer export files from EZ Vinyl Converter to iTunes. I tried restoring an older version which accepted these files, but that version no longer will open my library. I have been archiving my albums

After installing the latest version of iTunes, I can no longer export music files converted by EZ Vinyl Conversion software to iTunes, which is the only export option available in the software. I have been converting my vinyl records, tapes and cd's to MP3 files in iTunes for about a year now, and have well over 1000 man-hours invested in this effort. I tried restoring the last version of iTunes, but it will no longer read my library, as, apparently, the new version modified the library file(s) in some way. I want to reenable this export-import function to finish my archival. What is necessary ???

Apparently, security programs like Macafee and Norton view Itunes updates as new programs and block then from access. If you add Itunes to the list of exemptions, it solves the problem.
