my facebook get hung in my ipad 2 and could not be returned. there is no provision to return facebook home screen. what to do?
Are you accessing Facebook via Safari or one of the Facebook apps ? Have you tried closing the app completely and seeing if it works when you re-open the app ? From the home screen (i.e. not with Safari/the Facebook app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ and click the blue link next to the green shopping bag. Follow the steps and send the iTunes store support en email explaining your situation. They should be able to look into it.

from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste into the text box that opens (command-V), then press return.
From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari, and test.
The "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can also interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you may need to remove it as well, if it's present.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again. -

Oh, dear.
If you use PSE as your external editor for iphoto, you need to save the images back to iphoto by using Save, not Save As and not changing anything like the name or format that would bring up the Save As window. (You may need to adjust the editor prefs>saving files>on first save to save over existing.)
OR you can export the photos from iphoto to the desktop, use file>open in the editor and then change whatever you want and either import the saved image to the organizer or import it back to iphoto as a new file. What you are doing is extremely risky, particularly to the iphoto library which you may easily damage by your workflow.
I would start the organizer holding down the shift key, then create a new catalog and switch to the new one. Then try opening the editor without opening an image and see if you get any farther.
PSE and iphoto are not designed to be used as you've been doing. You are trying to write to the iphoto library from outside iphoto, which is the fastest known way to corrupt the library and lose all your photos. -
Someone did some mayhem, to my " new to me " Apple eMac G4. I came home, (the G4 was asleep) when I woke it, the trash was an eject button, I had two web pages minimized, I went on line and Firefox worked as it had before. My partner deleted, by accident my itunes library. I have an iMac 10.6.7, Itunes 10. I use an WD passport as an external back up and retrieved my itunes library but now get the message "could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" so itunes is not recognised the exclamation marked songs, how do i get the retrieved files recognised. At times I get fed-up with Apple blocking files being used, although I like the product its restrictions are so silly!
You not only have to retrieve the library file from the backup drive but the actual music files (usually stored within the "iTunes Media" folder) as well.

Im creating PDFs through InDesign and using Acrobat Pro 9 to add fields. I save them to allow ADobe Reader people to use them. Everything works fine on Pro and Reader on my end with a PC as well as someone elses PC. But one person using Mac said some forms work and some dont. Those that dont get the error "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired." Ive resaved them and made sure they work and same problem. There is nothing overly coplex about the PDFs either, a date field at the most. They are using Reader 9.1.
I found out the other day that one person who can open them adds info to them saves them and send over to that other person and cannot open any of them after they have been edited, same error. He even tried on a PC and still gets it.
I dont know what to do. I know it has to be on his end and not mine. What else can I suggest to him??It sounds like they are using an earlier version of Acrobat or Reader, though you said Reader 9.1. If you add some features in AA9 that are new, it appears that earlier versions see the new features as damaged files. At least that is my guess. Try using Reduce File Size or PDF Optimize to save to an earlier version and see if that helps. The other option is that you are getting them messed up in e-mail because many client look at PDF files as ascii and do not encrypt them. In that case force the encryption. You can also send them in ZIP form.

Does this happen with every PDF file or a specific one ? Maybe the file is really damaged.

When trying to use the App Store, I get a message "could not sign in, an unknown error has occurred, any suggestions what is wrong? I reset our Internet and turned off the iPad.
Sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try again. -

i am having the problem in my 3gs iphone. it says it shouldnt take more than 3 minutes then i get this message Could not activate iphone.

Are you saying that the Installation failed, or that Photoshop has installed but won't open?
You say Photoshop PS7. Is that a typo, or do you really mean the version that was released in 2002 and that preceded Photoshop CS?
