My facebook profile badge stopped loading properly on my website :-( how can i fix it?

please go to www.platino909.com and look above the twitter profile badge on the home page. it was working for more than a year. now suddenly it's just a tiny white box top left in the text box. help!

That is a problem with the Facebook certificate that is valid for www.facebook.com

The certificate is only valid for the following names:
www.facebook.com , facebook.com
You will have to contact Facebook about this and ask them to send a valid certificate for that domain or you can use a http: protocol link if you do not need a secure https link for that image.

Hi readytogo. welcome to the HP Forums. I am not sure exactly what you mean. You say Facebook loads automatically in Internet Explorer (IE). Does this mean, when you first open IE, that Facebook opens? Or do you mean when you turn your computer on, it loads Facebook without being told to? Or are you saying that it is remembering your Facebook login information?
What is the model number of your product? What version of Windows is installed?

HI,
iChat uses different internet ports to do different tasks.
If you have the Mac Firewall On then this should allow the ports the app is Using on an Incoming basis.
These same ports also need to be allowed in your router.
If the device has it use UPnP if you can.
This allows the app to state which ports it wants to use and also for multiple devices to use the same ports.
(It is needed for iChat Screen Sharing that involves a random port that cannot be opened in other methods)
Can you also open the Connection Doctor (Video Menu of iChat) and say what it says on each tab ?

My Facebook app is not sending me pop up notifications, how can i fix this?

I have installed the official FB app and accidentally hit Don't Allow when it initially asked me about the push notifications. I have gone back and made sure it's all on in my settings, but it still isn't working. I have deleted the app and turn off the phone and back on and redownloaded it. But it's still not working. How can i get it to work and send me the pop up alert when i get something new?

Got it!!!! A re-install is NOT the answer. You need to turn on individual notifications under Settings > Facebook > Push Notifications, BUT (and this is a big and confusing BUT) you also need to turn on global push settings under Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendards > Fetch New Data (and change the Push slider to 'on'). This doesn't sound like it makes sense, but I guess that the push slider under 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars' is actually for ALL push notifications on iPhone, and not just Mail, Contacts and Calendar apps!

It takes a full minute and a half for the Mac App Store Application to load on my iMac. How can I fix this. No other applications launch so slowly.

Whenever I click on the Mac App Store icon in my dock, I get the spinning wheel for a minute and a half. It then loads. While in the App Store application, it takes a minute and a half to switch from "featured" to "top charts" for example. Nothing else on my 24" iMac takes that long to load. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Drag the App Store app from the Applications folder to the Trash. Drag the App Store icon off the Dock. It should go "poof"..
Download and install the v10.6.7 combo update.

That should re install the Mac App Store for you. It's ok to do this even if you are already running v10.6.7
If the combo did not re install the MAS for you use Pacifist to extract the MAS from the v 10.6.7 .dmg folder.

Images wont load for a certain website how do I fix this ?

Please help me !! I do a lot of surveys but on one website in particular (Global Testmarket) has for a while stopped showing me their images when I come out of one survey to start another, all I see is a blank white screen. I have asked their support for help on numerous occasions but either they don't understand what I'm trying to tell them or they don't have an answer and wont admit it. This problem is one that only happens on Mozilla Firefox, the others are fine, I am using Windows 7 64 bit.
If anyone has the answer I would be forever grateful as this problem has plagued me for a long time.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
Note that these settings affect background images.

If images are missing then check that you do not block images from some domains.

Check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
Check "Tools > Page Info > Media" for blocked images
*Select the first image link and use the cursor Down key to scroll through the list.
*If an image in the list is grayed and "Block Images from..." has a checkmark then remove this checkmark to unblock images from this domain.
Make sure that you do not block (third-party) images, the permissions.default.image pref on the about:config page should be 1.
There are extensions like Adblock Plus (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images and other content.

Facebook turns black when changing tabs... How can I fix this?

Whenever I'm on safari and I open my facebook it works just fine. But when I go to another tab and return to my facebook tab the page is all of parts of ik are black and I have to refresh the page for facebook to look normal. This has been going on quite a while and it never really bothered me, but now it's just getting annoying! Does anybody have a solution or know what to do? Thanks in advance!

I have the same problem but if you go back to another tab and quickly back to facebook it'll go back to normal. I know it doesn't solve anything but its an alternative to refreshing the page... probably just as annoying though

My iPod touch's(4th gen, iOs 5) front camera stopped working. Why? And how can I fix it?

I can't use it on the regular camera, CamWow, instagram, twitter or anything else that involves a camera. And it's only the front camera. I can use the back camera on instagram. Anyway, all of my apps/cameras are all on the front camera and the little button to change it from front to back isn't on it. So I can't use my back camera either. It just randomly stopped working on friday and I don't know why. I've tried turning my iPod on and off but that doesn't work. So please help?

I recently got a refurbished MacBook Air from Apple. Whenever I FaceTime, my microphone stops working, and the person on the other end can't hear me. I end up having to FaceTime them on my iPod Touch, which can be a bit frustrating. Are there any solustions to this?

Why does that seem likely to be a hardware issue? How did you come to that conclusion? Do you know something about this issue that indicates that? (I realise that this might sound short and rude - I am not trying to be rude here - just to understand) My thought is that conventional troubleshooting would say that this is a software issue because it is fixed with a restart.
I also have this problem. The camera quits working after some time - I have not been able to make it stop working. Sometimes it is after I suspend the computer (close the lid) other times it still works.
All I know is that intermittently my camera stops working and it is a big pain to have to reboot whenever I am going have a video chat.
Anyone got any solutions, I'm not covered by applecare so would rather try and fix it myself if possible?

My iPhone 4S (sprint) has stopped recording voice mail messages. The phone is 2 months old and it stopped about a month ago, but it took me several weeks to realize that there was a problem as I initially thought that callers just weren't leaving a message. I have now tried to leave myself voice messages and confirmed that it's showing up as a voice mail but failing to record it. Has anyone ever encountered this problem and if so, what is the fix?

No iPhone records voicemail messages. Visual voicemail is simply an interface to the carriers voicemail servers.
Contact the carrier to troubleshoot the issue with their voicemail.

Suddenly stopped playing my purchased tv shows, how can I fix this?

I have been purchasing tv shows from iTunes & viewing them on my laptop for a while, but suddenly none of the shows will play - I can open them, but they sit as paused on the screen. Try the following.
Open windows Control Panel, open Windows Update, select 'View update history' in the left hand pane and then select 'Installed updates' link in the following window.
Locate update KB2962407, right click it and select Uninstall. When done, restart the notebook, open windows Control Panel, open Windows Update and select 'Check for updates'. You'll see the update you just uninstalled being offered again - right click and select 'Hide Update'.
After this you may or may not need to delete and reload the Audio driver - if you do, the procedure for using recovery manager to reinstall Software and Drivers is detailed in the relevant document on the link below.
