My Facetime and iMessage do not work !

My hotmail account which I used to register for iCLOUD,IMESSAGE, email address , apple ID etc when I firstly bought ipad has been hacked days ago. Now, my MAIL cannot function because of my hacked account issue. However, I've tried to change every related email address including iCLOUD, apple ID, IMESSAGE, apple store, etc into my another existing YAHOO account. But the thing is , after I've replaced my hotmail email address into YAHOO one... my MAIL starts to work properly as usual , but it doesn't work for my IMESSAGE and FACETIME ..... Can somebody help me with these ??

im a new apple user...my facetime and imessages do not seem to be working properly...although when it asks to sign in and i do get through that window but when the verification process comes i dont know what happens but i am sent back to the sign in window....please help.

I assume you have turned the Bluetooth on.... (Bluetooth not working).
On the iPad, try a reset (hold the power and home keys down until the Apple logo appears). I do not have an iPhone so I have no suggestion there.

My facetime and imessage isn't working. I have tried resetting my iphone to the factory settings and it just keeps saying "waiting for activation"..it won't give me an option to choose my phone number as well. Suggestions?

Since I have updated my software, my imessage and facetime is not activating. I have tried to reset the phone, holding the lock button and the home button, trying to connect it under different wifi. Nothing seems to be working, it is really frustrating as I am a big user of facetime & imessage and many of my messages are not being recieved due to imessage not working. If anyone has anyother ideas or tips how to help me out I would really really appreciate it!!

Both FaceTime and iMessage is not working on my Macbook Air

My facetime and imessage both randomly stopped working last week. I upgraded to Mavericks a few weeks ago but have only been having an issue for around a week. I have found that they do work if I log into my guest account, but they do not work on my main account. I have even reinstalled Mavericks, but have had no luck.
Any help would be amazing!

aiizaztarliq21: I solved my problem, and here is how I did it. I don't know if it will work for you or not, but it's worth a shot.
1. Make the time zone on the Mac not automatic (but correct to your time and zone), and change something in that pref. pane so that it overwrites the old prefs file.
2. Log out of iMessages, iCloud, etc., on your iOS devices
3. Un-associate your Apple ID with your computer user login (in System Preferences > Users and Groups).
4. Sign out of iCloud on your Mac.
5. Reboot.
6. Re-associate your Apple ID with your user login. If you see a caution icon next to it, double-click. Should disappear.
7. Launch iMessages and attempt to log in.
8. Then log in to iCloud via System Preferences > iCloud
If that doesn't work, do these steps, then go back to # 1, above.
9. Delete all the Apple tokens and keys in the Keychain (might break some other things--may be why I can't log in via Safari right now).
10. Reinstall Mavericks/OS X.
11. Repeat steps 1–8.

My facetime and imessage are not working! They were literally were working one minute and not the next! I have reset (NOT RESTORED) my ipod, however these 2 apple apps are not working now, anyone have any idea why???

My ipod touch seems to have a few issues, however my pre-installed and updated imessage and facetime were literally working last night, and after a breif break to charge battery (the back of the ipod was SUPER HOT) wasn't able to do facetime or imessage, and am STILL NOT today, what gives?? Found the answer, at least for now! Thanks to roryjt, and having to search through tons of post on imessage and facetime issues! Changed the DNS on my ipod for my wireless network to 8.8.8.8 Not sure if it will work outside of my wireless network, but since its an ipod, not an iphone, I usually only use it in my place/on my network. My Facetime and iMessages are not responding anylonger. When I push the app and put in my Apple I.D.

The Facetime and iMessages used to work just fine on my iPod Touch. Now, for some unknown reason, they do not. When I push the app on my home page, they ask for the Apple I.D. and password and I enter them, then it goes to 'Verifying' and suddenly bounces back to 'Enter Apple I.D. and password' again and again. I have checked and my I.D. and password are correct. Does anyone know what could be the problem and how I can fix it?

If you head to Settings -> General -> Date & Time is it set to Automatic?
Try a hard reset of your device. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake andHome buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
Otherwise, try using Google's OpenDNS servers to address the issue. Head to Settings -> Wi-Fi and tap the > next to the network you are connected to. Scroll down to the DNSfields and enter in 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
