My facetime and imessages are not working properly.Although the apple id sign in is working the verufucation process isnt...please help.
im a new apple user...my facetime and imessages do not seem to be working properly...although when it asks to sign in and i do get through that window but when the verification process comes i dont know what happens but i am sent back to the sign in window....please help.
I assume you have turned the Bluetooth on.... (Bluetooth not working).
On the iPad, try a reset (hold the power and home keys down until the Apple logo appears). I do not have an iPhone so I have no suggestion there.

My Facetime and iMessages are not responding anylonger. When I push the app and put in my Apple I.D.
The Facetime and iMessages used to work just fine on my iPod Touch. Now, for some unknown reason, they do not. When I push the app on my home page, they ask for the Apple I.D. and password and I enter them, then it goes to 'Verifying' and suddenly bounces back to 'Enter Apple I.D. and password' again and again. I have checked and my I.D. and password are correct. Does anyone know what could be the problem and how I can fix it?
If you head to Settings -> General -> Date & Time is it set to Automatic?
Try a hard reset of your device. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake andHome buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
Otherwise, try using Google's OpenDNS servers to address the issue. Head to Settings -> Wi-Fi and tap the > next to the network you are connected to. Scroll down to the DNSfields and enter in 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.

My ipod touch seems to have a few issues, however my pre-installed and updated imessage and facetime were literally working last night, and after a breif break to charge battery (the back of the ipod was SUPER HOT) wasn't able to do facetime or imessage, and am STILL NOT today, what gives?? Any suggestions and advice?.
Found the answer, at least for now! Thanks to roryjt, and having to search through tons of post on imessage and facetime issues! Changed the DNS on my ipod for my wireless network to 8.8.8.8 Not sure if it will work outside of my wireless network, but since its an ipod, not an iphone, I usually only use it in my place/on my network. I bought an iPhone while overseas, but I'm back living in the states now. It seems that FaceTime and iMessage is not enabled on it. How do I get it to work now that I'm back in the states?
I did buy it from someone in Jordan. So they might have got it from KSA, or UAE, or it even might be the same rules in Jordan. I don't think the imessage works even, every time someone sends me a message from their ipad it says "Not delivered". Maybe I am wrong?

I have an iPad 4th generation and when I updated to iOS 7 I can't use FaceTime. Every time I tried to sign in I get a message asking me to check my Network connection. FaceTime and iMessage are the only application that give me this message.
Try Reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
Note: Data will not be affected but settings will be reset. -

If you monitor the "More Like This" box (top right), other threads appear. Opening them usually displays other threads. You aren't the only one having this problem.
One person having a Photo Booth problem, although not the same one as you are having solved it by running Disk Utility/Repair Permissions. -

Unlikely as you do not meet there requirements for unlocking.
Have your friend the provided the phone contact them. Based on your statements I am concluding he was or still is an AT&T customer, that is one of the requirements of getting the device unlocked.
