I have been having issues ever since the iOS 5.1.1 update and I thought with the iOS 6, all these bugs would be fixed. Unfortunately they have not. My iphone's wifi has not worked for several months now. I believe it is the reason my FaceTime no longer works. Weird thing is, is that I can still receive FaceTime calls, but cannot make them myself. The wifi section in settings is greyed and I cannot even switch it back on. It's permanently in the off position. What is going on with my phone . Dissapointed in my Apple product.
PS- We have an Apple wireless home router, top of line, and we have everything Apple in our house specifically to deal with disconnect issues. My iPad works great at home, same with Apple tv. I know it's my phone.

If it doesn't help you likely have a hardware failure. As your phone is still in warranty take it to an Apple store. Make an appointment first.

Iphone 4s facetime no longer works after sim card change

Hi Folks,
Having had issues with my SIM card (I was getting invalid SIM daily) my provider swapped the SIM and ported the number to a new card.
Since doing this however Facetime no longer works or the find iphone ability through iCloud - just says that its not available. Phone is
working fine on everything else. Is there some sort of registration I need to go through with the new SIM card?

After updating to iOS 8.2 on the iPhone 4S, iMessage and FaceTime no longer work properly.

Also, I noticed that going to the settings section is disabled service "Find iPhone".
To get to the point tinctures "Messages" and "FaceTime" takes a few minutes.

Facetime No Longer Works After 4.3.4 Update

Has anyone else experienced this issue on their iPhone?
After my wife upgraded her iPhone 4 to 4.3.4 her FaceTIme no longer sends a video signal. My iPhone 4 upgraded without a hitch, but hers doesn't send a video signal at all. She cannot see herself in her little window either. She can see and hear me.... .and I can hear her.... but not visuals.

1. Copy something into the clipboard (doesn't matter what it is)
2. Open Google maps
3. Try to paste into the search bar. You don't get the paste option.
4. Try to type something into the search bar then attempt to copy what you just typed. No options appear to copy what was just typed in.
This used to work prior to the 4.2 update. Very useful when receiving incomplete addresses via text message or from a web page.

FaceTime no longer working after 4.3.4 software update.

I updated my ipod touch to 4.3.4 and ever since facetime no longer connects with the other person. I click call and it says the persons name and directly underneath it says "FaceTime..." as if it were calling the person, but it clearly is not. Somebody please help!

FaceTime used to work fine on both my MacBook Pro and my I-Phone. Lately, it will not work at all on my Ma
cBook, but works fine on my I-Phone. What has to be done to get it working on my MacBook?

The Rh column in FaceTime asks if I want calls to the cell phone or to the e-mail address. I remove the check mark against the cell Number and "go to next"
     It then asks for Apple ID and sign in.
     The FaceTime on the computer starts by saying that it is signing in and then and then quickly reverts to the first screen as above---asking about the cell or e-mail address---and the process starts all over again.
     I never get to proceed past this step.
     I am begining to wonder if an upgrade was added and requires some other step.
, or removal of the upgrade.

FaceTime no longer working with Yosemite and IOS 8.1

I have used FaceTime flawlessly for some time with no issue.
After I upgraded to Yosemite on my MacBookAir and IOS8.1 on 5S and iPad air, I've had a problem connecting.
When I get a call, all the devices ring (as they should) but it will not connect on the first device I pick up on. It says connecting
but all the other devices keep ringing and finally it says I have a missed call. The connection does not happen. If I turn off
all devices except one, it will work...... do we have a bug here??

Thank you for responding to my issue. I spent the better part of two hours trying to get this to work. Bluetooth is enabled on all devices. Each computer is set in Preferences/General to allow Handoff. All computers and iPhones are on the same WiFi network. I toggled all of the major settings off and on. Rebooted each of my computers several times. I finally conceded defeat. Then my daughter asked to have a try at it. She worked on the first MBP for about thirty minutes and informed me that she had gotten continuity to work. And indeed, on her MBP late 2012 she is able to use the continuity features in both directions between her computer and her iPhone 6. But it only works with Mail and Safari. I asked how she accomplished this feat. She said she turned off "everything" on her computer and iPhone (WiFi, Bluetooth, "Allow handoff" under Preferences/General) and then rebooted both the iPhone and the computer. She then turned everything back on. This worked for her. So we tried the same thing on my MBP and iPhone 6. Now continuity works partially. Email activity is mirrored on both the MBP and the iPhone regardless of which device initiates the continuity activity. But Safari activity on the computer is mirrored on the iPhone but not in the opposite direction. There is no continuity function for Pages in either direction. The telephone connectivity works fine on all of my devices– 3 MBPs, Mac Pro, iPad Air, 2nd gen iPad and 3rd gen iPad.

EVerytime someone tries to call me using FaceTime an I pick up, it tries to connect and then it says "FaceTime beendet" (= "Facetime cancelled"). Just like the other Person would deny the call. Same thing when I try to call someone.
everything works fine with my ipad ios 7.1.1, this issue only occurs with my iphone which Runs with ios 5.1.1
does anybody has the Same Problems or a Solution? And please don't Tell me i have to update to ios 7, please

You need to upgrade to iOS 7 to use Facetime.

Facetime no longer working with mavericks

I've used facetime for a while now to talk to family out of the country. Since I've upgraded to mavericks I can't log in with my apple id and password (which are both correct as I can log in to app store with them). Facetime cycles between log in page, then verifying, then back to log in page. Sometimes just gets stuck on verifying. Weird.
Any help would be appreciated.

TS3367 For a while now Facetime no longer works on my iphone4...

Does anyone know what the issue is or how to fix it? An ipad and my girlfriend's iphone5 works fine, even on the same network, so it's an issue with the phone.
