My FICO has been real slow with updates lately? Anybody notice?
I have noticed that they have been very late with their updating. Usually if I get an alert on Experian than the next day I will se FICO but lately it has been 3 to 5 days. Also, I am not sure if it is My FICO or Comenity, they used to report within 24 to 48 hours after statement cut now they are taking a week or more.

For the last 2 days Firefox has been real slow in terms of browsing and wont even start downloads in a lot of cases.
I upgraded to Firefox 4 today to see if it would solve the problem but it didnt. A lot of times websites show up messed up and its getting really annoying.
What is wrong with Firefox?You should also update Flash.

Ever since updating my iPad with the iOS 8 and 8.0.2 it has been much slower in every way. Any suggestions besides restoring to last iOS?

Resolve issues with an over-the-air iOS update - Apple Support
Update does not complete
If you're installing the update and the progress bar appears to move slowly, be patient. The time an update takes depends on the size of the update and the number of files on the device.
When you're updating over the air, keep your device connected to a power source so that it doesn't run out of power. If your device does run out of power, connect it to a power source and turn on the device to let the update or restore complete.
If the update never completes and the progress bar hasn't moved for an extended time, try restarting your device. If you still see the issue after you restart, see what to do if your device appears frozen or won't start.

Since the last automatic update (approx. one week ago) my Firefox has been running slow as molasses and I keep getting a "refresh" box popping up when the pages get hung up (very often)
What can I do to correct this? I clean my cache out at least once daily - most days more. Virus scan says I'm clear of viruses - Glary Utilities tells me that all changes to my registry have been fixed (sneaky apps trying to get in) I'm going crazy because I am used to my FF being fast! Ever since updating to latest version of Firefox it has been painfully slow on my Mac running OS 10.5.8.
Websites just hang, and never get to where they are supposed to go. The status loop on tabs just spins and spins but never loads the site. Go to the same site on Safari and there in a second. It is like dial up slow. Have tried all the troubleshooting tips(reset, delete/re-create profiles, uninstall/reinstall, updated flash) nothing works.

There is no issue with iOS7.
The issue is with specific iPhones.
I know multiple people with iPhones that have all upgraded to the latest iOS and none of them have experienced issues with the update across multiple models. Even with the postings here, if you search through them, some go back as far as iOS5 and these Wi-Fi/bluetooth issues occurring which clearly shows it is not the iOS update that is killing the hardware. The issue is with hardware on specific devices that is boarderline working and an update is causing the hardware to fail.
Apple offers an Out of Warranty replacement for a reasonable cost or the user can choose to replace the device with a different one (newer iPhone or some other device).
Regardless, ranting here is pointless and against the terms of use. -

My wife has been having problems with Safari, and many third party software and malware programs infecting her Mac Book Pro. I have tried to reset Safari but it keeps coming back, taking over Safari, changing defaults, start pages, and search engines, Etc.
Is it safe to use programs like MacKeeper, who keeps send my wife's computer message and alerts, or should I just wipe the drive and start over?

"An iPhone has been previously synced with this computer" error on sync
I recently resurrected an old original iPhone to use as an iPod touch (no phone contract) and started syncing it to my home Mac Mini, which is where I sync nearly all of my iPhone 3G data from. I can't honestly say which was the last iPhone to successfully sync, but I just docked my iPhone 3G for the first time in a few weeks and got an error, "An iPhone has been previously synced with this computer". It's only allowing me to either set it up as a new phone, or to restore from either my 2G or 3G iPhone backup.
I don't want to restore; I've added a load of apps, notes, photos, etc since the last archive on that Mac Mini.
NOTE: This home Mac Mini syncs all the iPod content to my 3G. My MacBook Pro syncs the Pictures to the 3G. And all calendar/contact data is synced OTA (over the air).
(I have been regularly syncing/backing up to my MacBook Pro while I've been on the road. So I do have a valid archive on that system.)
I don't understand why I'm getting this error. It's almost as if I can't sync multiple iPhones to the same computer, but AFAIK that's not correct.
I suppose I could move an archive from the MBP over to the Mini and restore from a valid archive, but that seems obtuse.
What would cause this error? I can't update my music/tv/podcasts on here until I get this sorted out… bugger!

I had been having issues with having good reception in a suburb within close proximity to Los Angeles. Called ATT and they were able to synchronize my phone while I am at home to a closer cell site and that has improved things a great deal. Also I was told that you should turn the phone off at a minimum of once a week and if possible more times to reset it and give it time to rest and cool off. The other thing I have discovered may be the actual way that the phone is constructed. Today I was using it at home in the same room and noticed the bars go down and come up when I changed how I held it. I thought their was no possible way that it could be that simple, but after changing the way I held it 5 times alternating from gripping my whole hand around the back with my palm and just finger gripping from the sides and making sure I was not blocking the back of the phone, well as much as possible, the results were that I had 4 to 5 bars of reception. Now this may seem crazy, but there is a possibility that this could be the cause of bad reception if the antenna is in the back shell of the phone and by blocking it with your palm you could interfere with the reception. Crazy I know, but I have heard of much crazier things with new phones and technology. -

Firefox has been asking everyday to update to the latest version. When I said ok it said that my Google bar wasn't compatible so I declined the update for weeks.
You seem to have Firefox 5.0 already installed and the Google toolbar will not work with that version or any future version of Firefox. Firefox 5.0.1 is the current version. Firefox 6 is scheduled to be released (replacing Firefox 5.0.1) on 08-16-2011 (subject to change).
Google decided that they will no longer produce the Google Toolbar for Firefox beyond Firefox 4. <u>Future versions of Google toolbar will only work with IE7-9. Google Toolbar is not available on any other browser, even Google's own browser.</u>

Ftp.belnet.be mirror very slow with updates
The mirror that is closest to my location, ftp.belnet.be , seems to be very slow with updates for AL.
XFCE4 was updated to 4.2.3 around nov 10 on archlinux.org.
11 days later xfce4 4.2.2 is still on belnet , and not replaced by the new version.
Since it's also a fast and reliable server, i don't mind waiting a few days, but more than a week is TOO long.
What's the use of a bleeding edge distribution when you can't get updates that have been available for more than a week ?
For now, i have fallen back on archlinux.org , but will look for another european server.In contrast with the name, that server doesn't seem to have ANY arch packages anymore.
