My files keep bouncing as joint stereo even though I've selected normal.

I'm bouncing audio files with the "normal" tab selected but they keep reading as "joint stereo" after the bounce. It's only doing this to a few of my files so I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong...I'm going through the same process when bouncing each file, but some of them are still bouncing as joint stereo. Any help would be most appreciated. I'm very new to this so I'd really appreciate simple instructions if possible. Thank you so much in advance!

Why don't you want joint stereo? It's pretty much the standard for bouncing compressed formats, and there is no advantage that I know of to not using it.

You may have a stuck image in the AutoRecovery folder. THis file is in your scratch drive directory. You can delete it.

try a reset of iPhone and then a restore,best, as new and if it then functions correctly try restoring with your backup -
Can't open iphoto file to edit in Elements 10 even though external editor is set
Right clicking on iphoto file, selecting "edit in external editor" resullts in spinning beach ball. Each attempt at opening a file initiates a reopening of Elements even though it is already opened.
Can you open images normally in Photoshop Elements? I would recommend including this information as well as which verson of iPhoto and Mac OS you are using to the Photoshop Elements forum. It might also possibly be a problem with iPhoto but the users in the Photoshop Elements forum should better be able to determine where the problem lies.

In Firefox Options / Privacy be sure "Remember download history" is checked. To see all of the options on that panel, "Firefox will" must be set to "Use custom settings for history".
To find your OS information, on your Windows desktop, right-click the My Computer icon, choose Properties, under System on that small window is info about your OS.

Yes, I have had some unfortunate bad luck to have so many problems at the same time, but some of them are just things you cannot do on the new OS.

Its very frustratiing as my i ph 5 keeps jumping to different carriers even though its been locked to 1 particular carrier and the automatic selection of carriers
turned off..Its strange as I can see the the tick next to my selected carrier but its connected to a different carrier..Have tried releasing the lock and re-selecting my particular carrier..It locks in for a while and then jumps carriers again..The autmatic selection is always turned off..Pls help as its getting very expensive and frustrating..Maybe you should call Apple again and ask for a Senior Advisor and/or ask them to look more closely at the Activation Profile information.

When playing music on my iPhone 4S, it keeps repeating the same song, even though it is set at Shuffle.
Make sure you don't have Repeat turned on. While the song is playing, tap the screen (cover art) if necessary to bring up the extended music controls (see image below). Then tap the Repeat button until it turns white (which is off).

It sounds like you are experiencing multiple issues with this iPod Nano 5th Gen. From what you are describing it seems we can isolate this to either the software or the hardware on the device with a couple of simple steps assuming you have tried another set of headphones. If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep. Try resetting the iPod while it is connected to power.
If you are able to reset it, but the issue persists, or you are unable to reset it, I would next attempt restoring it with iTunes:

Grey screen display even though "aqua" theme selected
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me as this is really annoying me! Recently, instead of my theme being blue, it is grey. My computer starts up with a grey screen and apple logo (instead of blue like before), and even though I have selected "aqua" it is still grey or graphite. I haven't changed any settings. When I go to system preferences and display, if I select the default profile, the colour LCD one, it is a weird brown/yellowy color. All the other ones are various shades of grey rather than blue (which I have selected because it is preferable to the brown). I have no idea why my computer is doing this as it seemed to be working fine before. Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated!
Hi, thanks for the reply but no that is not it. The background has colour, it is just the setting... like the dock is grey when I swear it used to be bluish, as well as bootup, and toolbars etc... and when I click the default Colour LCD setting it goes a weird brown colour. It is not a huge deal, just weird!

Hi, I am using Firefox 5. Suddenly I lost my bookmarks toolbar even though I have selected it to be visible in the view option. But I can still view the bookmarks toolbar in my all-in one side bar
If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key to make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
*Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize"
*Check that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the toolbar palette in the customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If missing items are in the toolbar palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar
*If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up

i downloaded the iTunes update to 11.1. Normally I just download one audio boo to my iPhone (5) at one time, this time, even though I had "selected audiobooks" checked and just the one audio book checked, it downloaded all of them. That's taking up almost a gig of space on my 16G phone. Before I realized it was trying to download every book, i deleted about 500 pictures (okay, I really needed to delete them anyway...) along with a bunch of apps I never use, to make room for what I thought was just the one new book I purchased.... is there a fix for this?

This could be done in many ways so it's quite hard to pin point what's going on and how it's done.
The first thing I would do is to reset the the router you have, creating a new password for loging on in case they have gained access this way, then create a new password for the wireless network if you are using it.
Then reinstall your computer, if they/you have installed some software and gotten a Trojan, the only way to get rid of it to 100% is to reinstall. There is no meaning in trying to find it and uninstalling it since it's gotten this far allready.
Depending on what router you have, you might be able to get the logs and see from where they are connecting and trying to pinpoint their location.
There are probably other ways to find out more, but if this happened to me, the first thing I would do is to get rid of the problem, ignoring who they are.
