My film download is stuck on processing!

My film download is stuck on processing status, any ideas ?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Force a restart, if the problem persists:
Try deleting the problematic file (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option which is revealed in the iTunes app on your iOS device by tapping the more button at the bottom of the screen.
If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.

  • Film download is stuck

I have tried to download a film and the download is stuck, it keeps going back to the 890k download and restarting. I cannot delete the download or try to download another version. Any ideas?

    1. Try and delete the "film"
    2. Sign out of Apple ID>Reboot>Sign in Apple ID

  • My iPhone with iTunes match is extremely slow downloading songs, stuck on processing file

I have a 64GB iPhone 5, with iTunes Match enabled. Whenever I try to download songs to the phone, the songs will download very quickly, usually with 15 seconds, but then it will be stuck on Processing File for 15-20 minutes. This makes it very difficult to download large numbers of songs. I have been trying to download ~3000 songs since Friday and there are still 492 left after 4 days. Any ideas why the processing file action takes so long?
Internet speed: 15ms ping, 35mbps download, 11mbps upload
    iOS version: 7.1.2
    Capacity: 57.1GB
    Available: 30.7GB
    Thanks,
    Randy

I'm trying to load ~20k songs onto my new iPhone 6 via iTunes Match, and I'm only about 1/20 along after two days
I can't even track the progress using the iTunes Store app since the app either crashes immediately upon launch or doesn't show the "Downloads" tab (if I reboot the phone, I'll see the "Downloads" tab once with a badge indicating the number of songs remaining, but after locking up the app for a few minutes, the "Downloads" tab disappears until I reboot again).
Instead, I get alerts every so often reporting "Unable to Purchase" as sync downloads occasionally fail. The only way I'm able to see that anything is still progressing at all is by going to Settings -> General -> About and observing the "Songs" number very slowly incrementing.
Meanwhile, I cannot update any apps since app update downloads appear to queue up behind iTunes Match syncs instead of being entirely independent.
I have been terribly disappointed with Apple's handling of iTunes Match.

  • My movie download is stuck in process mode for 10 hours

I downloaded a movie to watch on a trip and for the last 10+ hours it's seems to be stuck in the process mode. I can't watch the movie I can't delete the movie,

Downgrading the iOS is not supported by Apple. You will get errors/it will not work
    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • Film download got stuck and showing error

Film got stuck while downloading from itune store.
Reset done, but still no success

    @ToAruShiroiNeko
It sounds as if you may have to reset your N9 and possibly re-install exisiting software using standalone Nokia Software Updater here:http://nds1.nokia.com/files/support/...erSetup_EN.exe
As map data is stored in E:\cities you could try deleting this directory (perhaps copy to your desktop) although I am not certain whether folder is re-created when you next open Nokia Maps application upon the N9 as with devices using Symbian version.
Incidentally when I needed to copy World mapping to N9 I installed from direct download links for compressed .zip files to save aggrevation and time.

  • Music Downloads get stuck in processing phase and don't download?

I'm not sure what's going on with my computer.
Every time I try to download a song in the store, it seems to work fine. And then, when it gets to the processing part at the very end, it gets stuck there.
It never downloads to my computer and it freezes my iTunes, so I have to shut it down using the Task Manager.
Under my Check Available Downloads, it says that all my purchases have been downloaded, and in my Purchase History, it says I have bought those songs.
So why am I not getting them?
(I thought it might be something to do with my anti-virus software, but I'm not sure how to tell)

iTunes temporarily downloads songs into a folder named Downloads. Then at the end, it does that processing stuff and tries to move it into the normal Artist folder. Apparently, it can't accomplish this.
I also use AVG (the free version) and don't have this problem. So it must be something else. If you look in Task Manager when it gets to the "processing" part, do you see any other program using a lot of CPU time?
There are previous posts from users where incorrect windows permissions have caused this, or other programs such as VCast from Verizon were causing a conflict. And sometimes it's just problems with apple servers.
Try this trick from Antzilla525 - maybe that will help.

  • HT1725 Download stuck on 'processing'

I was downloading a movie and for two days it has been stuck on 'processing' and won't let me watch movie or do ANYTHING on iTunes.

This problem was sorted for me recently by Apple tech support. It occurs because you have insufficient space remaining to download the film the processing part requires as much space as the film so in other words if the film uses 3.5 you need to have 7.0 of space before you start. Once the download is completed the final space used will only be 3.5.
To solve the problem make sure all important files are switched on in Settings and save to icloud. Then go to reset to factory settings which will delete them from the ipad. You will then need to retrieve the files from icloud.
My advice would be to phone apple technical support for free and they will do it with you. Good luck.

I suggest that you try to use Tiny Umbrella to kick your device out of recovery
The link to download Tiny Umbrella is shown below
    http://thefirmwareumbrella.blogspot.com/
On the right hand side of the link you will see links to download Tiny Umbrella
After downloading and opening tiny umbrella, Click on exit out of recovery. Hope that works for you. If it doesnt work, try to write a detailed description of your problem and what is appearing on your screen etc and we will go from there. Good Luck

  • Audiobook download from iTunes stuck on "processing"..

This morning tried to download an audiobook from the iTunes Store on to my iPad and it's got stuck at "Processing"... Where it's now been sat for the past three hours!
I've enough space on the iPad for the download and I'm using my home wifi. I've tried doing a reboot of the iPad and thought that had sorted it - when I went back into the iTunes 'Download' section it again counted up through the download, only to get stuck again at "Processing". Never had this problem before when downloading music, movies, TV, or other audiobooks. Any ideas, anyone?

Further to this - I made the mistake of tapping in a couple of places and it's now vanished altogether! There's now no "Downloads" section to see in iTunes, it's not listed anywhere in my Audiobooks section my music library. When I've gone back to the iTunes Store, it's like I've never even purchased it (even though I've had my receipt through from Apple)!

  • In downloading a TV show from iTunes to my PC the file is stuck in processing and never completes the download

When downloading a purchased TV show from the Itunes store to my PC (Windows 7) the file is stuck in processing and never completes the download.

The EXACT same thing happened to me last night!  Rented a movie; it had barely started and then froze.  When I touch the video app icon, all I get is a blank, dimly lit screen.  None of the other videos I own will display either.  Was your problem ever resolved?

  • How can I release (or abort) a download which has stuck at Processing?

I have a music download (which I have been charged for) which has been stuck at Processing for over 10 days.
Unable to cancel or abort from iTune Store. My Music is now locked and unavailable. (VERY frustrating)
Unable to fully open iTune Store as it freezes part way and all I get is the text and boxes with no graphics or interaction
One discussion suggested that my modem may need re-flashing. As it was over 6 years old, I replaced it - but still can't clear the download.

    Hi, Philipp,
Thank you very much for your prompt reply and support. The IE icon disappeared immediately after I downloaded MF. I tried to download IE again but without success. In the end all my icons on my start page disappeared, although I do not think this was to do with MF. I had to resort to restoring my lap top to factory settings for the umpteenth time and I have now got IE back but no MF. I will keep your advice and will try again when I am feeling brave enough and have sufficient time to try and download MF again. I am not confident with technical problems and greatly appreciate your help and support.
    Kind regards, K.

  • Cloud download stuck at processing

I'm trying to download songs from my cloud onto my iPhone. I have iTunes Match and Show all Music turned on. It should be easy for me to download songs from my cloud. Yet the majority of the time in the last week, every time I try to download a whole album from the cloud, or even more than a few songs at a time, the songs download to near completion, but then get stuck on "processing" and don't finish downloading. I have to go in and delete each song one by one (sometimes it works throught the iTunes store app, to click the X, and sometimes it works in the Music app, by swiping and clicking delete. Sometimes neither of these things work and the phone is frozen/unresponsive for 10-15 seconds), and which ever one is stuck processing can't be deleted at all; I end up having to resart my iPhone. This is a HUGE hassle! Shouldn't I be able to download a full album at a time?? The only work around I've found is to download each song one at a time, which is extremely time consuming and frustrating.
I've seen this question on here multiple times so I'm sorry to post it again, but I've tried all the answers I've read, and nothing seems to stick. Please help me solve this problem! Using these programs and applications as they're intended shouldn't cause these sort of problems! What the heck Apple!!!!!

    Anybody...?

  • Downloaded album 2 tracks stuck at processing 100%

Just downloaded an album, 23 tracks total, 21 downloaded and 2 are stuck at "processing 100%".  They've been stuck there for about 40 minutes.  Any ideas?  I tried to quit iTunes and while the option is available in the dropdown menu it doesn't actually quit the app.  Any help would be appreciated.

    1. Exit iTunes (if not possible, force-kill it in task manager, Ctrl-Alt-Del > Task Manager, right click on iTunes and select "End task").
    2. Delete every folder in this directory:
    OS X:
~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/DownloadsNote: The tilde (~) refers to your Home directory.Windows Vista:
    \Users\username\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads\
    Windows 7:
    \Users\username\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads\
    Windows XP:
    \Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads\
    3. Start iTunes and start your downloads again.

I have a couple albums downloading in my iTunes. A song will download fine but will get stuck on "processing file"

  • Downloaded rental movie stuck in processing

Movie downloaded no problem. Went to "processing" and has been that way for over 15 minutes. Not popping up in Videos.
    Kathy

    Hello Katconn,
It sounds like you made a movie rental, and downloaded but is now processing and you cannot do anything with it. I would start by quitting all the running apps on the iPad:
iOS: Force an app to close
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137
    Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that and restart the phone and resume the download if needed with this:
iTunes: How to resume interrupted iTunes Store downloads
If your download was interrupted using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
From the Home screen, tap the iTunes app.
For iPhone or iPod touch, tap More > Downloads. For iPad, tap Downloads.
Enter your account name and password if prompted.
Tap the blue download arrow to resume.
If you can't complete the download on your iOS device, you can download it in iTunes on your Mac or PC and then sync it to your iOS device. You can also transfer purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer.
