My finder got hang and nothing I can do with that
I'm using a iMac with OSX Lion 10.7.4, intel based processor 2.7 GHz i5, 4 gb ram. I was using it very nicely since I bought. It's it's more than 11 months now. Suddenly today at the evening my finder got hang. I can do any other work like watching movies, playing itunes, browsing website also. But whether I go to desktop the circle of rainbow is coming instead of the cursor.
I cannot quit the finder (even not from the activity monitor), I cannot restart the system or shutdown it.
Is there anyone who can help me, please?

Baltwo, I did what you have said. But in the new admin user finder no file can see. The finder is working though.
Actually the promlem satred when I move some files to a folder in Desktop. After that the desktop has gone, no file I can see and the finder as well. First, I see 4 files on my desktop but I had 13 files and 2 folders on my desktop. Then I used cmd+a and drag those 4 files, then it's shown all the files where out of my screen, and then I thought I could put the files into the folder. And the problem began then.
Please if you could help me, I can submit my research proposal tomorrow. please help me. you are the only one who replied.

Another reason: You said he doesn't understand that find my iPhone is activated. If the phone was originally his, he would have known what it was since he had to turn on find my iPhone to begin with.
Doens't mean they know what FindMyiPhone is or that they even activated it.
Many (most?) users simply click thru without reading anything and don't have a clue what they are clicking on. -
My I-Pad Mini initiated an Update, got stuck and now I can't Stop, Reset or Delete either the App or Update. I'm also unable to Update anything else!! Please HELP?
Now, I find myself unable to update my version of Itunes. it asks me if I wish to update the version, I say yes, and then nothing happens.
With that one, I'd try updating using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer file, downloaded from the Apple Website:

My ipod 60gb classic is showing as fully charged until I connect it to my pc when it comes up with the error message, 'please wait very low battery' and the little wheel goes round and nothing happens, can anyone explain why this is and what i can do?
I have worked my way through the assistant and nothing works. I have tried connecting in disc mode but although the screen on the ipod is showing that the device is charged and that it is in disc mode as soon as I connect it to the computer it comes up with the error message 'please wait very low battery' and stays like that until I disconnect when it appears to be OK again. I have tried on both pc and mac.
BTW the ipod is an ipod video not classic if that makes any difference.

My Macbook Pro will not charge. I have tried other charges and nothing. Can the MagSafe port go bad? Is that expensive to repair?
The port can fail. Internal boards can fail. Batteries can fail. All with the result that no charging occurs.
You can try Resetting the System Management Controller and you can try Troubleshooting MagSafe adapters.
But usually you will have to take the mac in to a service place for testing. It can get expensive, although occasionally it is not.

My Ipod touch 5 just stopped working. The screen got black and now I can't use it or start it.
I have tried to charge it but it doens't start and when I tried to connect it with my computer it didn't work either.
I saw that you could hold down the "home" button and the "power" button at the same time but my home button doens't work so I can't do that.

I was just listening to my iPod shuffle and it stopped working. I plugged it into the computer to sync it and it won't sync. The little light don't come on on my nano. I've turned it off and on, pushed the play/pause and nothing. Can anyone help me out here?
How long have you left the iPod to charge? It can take up to 30 minutes before it shows any signs of life. Did you use the instructions in this article to properly reset the Shuffle?

Can not start up on my Macbook pro. All I get is a grey spinning wheel. Tried all the Startup key combinations and nothing works. I reset the NVRAM and nothing. I booted with start up disk , ran disk repair and all is ok. Tried to re-install OS but when I get to designating drive its blank. When I go to startup disk there is a "?" mark. When I restart under startup disk search for a drive it still comes up with nothing. Before I got the grey spinning wheel I had a locked screen. Could not move curser or click on anything. Finally just shut down. Thank you in advance for any help!
Shouldn't still have a 'beachballing'... if the drive is being found and the system is trying to boot from it but is having problems, I would suggest looking over ds store's user tip - Step by step to fix your Mac.
It's likely either something corrupt in your system files or a failing hard drive. But follow ds's steps until you find the cause of the problem.
