My fire fox page has become MUCH wider and I cannot fix it.Please help! cannot use this browser in this condition

It starts off looking normal, then as the page sets, it stretches out VERY WIDE...to the point where I cannot scroll, or see the entire page. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, and I have the same problem. Thank you!

Try the Firefox SafeMode.

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one.

If this started happening without your having made any changes and without a warning of low disk space, then it's likely that the startup drive, or some other hardware component, is failing. Back up all data immediately, then run Apple Diagnostics or the Apple Hardware Test.
Even if the test is negative, you should make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store to have the machine tested more thoroughly.

with your cc apps you should try to use the sync feature. that's never worked consistently for me, but when it does work, it's helpful.
there are preference folders and presets and settings that you could copy but you're better off installing fresh because a common problem for people with adobe program issues is a settings issue.

I figured that my music files somehow were corrupt and that shi_ happens. Well a week later I was having troubles with the Apple router so I returned it and uninstalled it from my program files C drive. Then I gave iTunes another shot and it opened. Weird, I know. Well my next router was a Net gear it worked fine but it lagged on COD4 while online with my PC, so I returned it. Then I bought a Belkin - N1 Vision Wireless-N Wireless Router and it did not come with an install disc just plug and play. That very same day my iTunes gave me that **** error again. This time I can’t try to uninstall it from my program files because it was plug and play. I already tried to do a system restore and I shut down my PC and start it back up without the router plugged in and still no luck. I also tried to repair iTunes and that didn’t work. I went to the Geek Squad and they tell me the two issues can’t be related (a router not allowing my iTunes to run). My computer is running on Windows XP Pro. I’m now playing my music through Windows Media Player. I’m in ****!!!! Can someone please help me!!!!! I also tried a few things on iTunes support and they didn’t work. Checking on things that can cause QuickTime launch errors and install/uninstall errors now.
Have you at any stage installed an ACE or K-Lite Mega Codec Pack, any copies of the programs QT Alternative, QT Lite or Storm Codec, or any media converter programs that can convert files into QuickTime readable formats?
(I'm checking on these things because depending on the versions of the programs/codec-packs, these can install earlier versions of QuickTime componentry on a PC, which can interfere with the running/installing of a higher version of QuickTime.)

i used to have the old itunes when i got this message saying "Itunes has encountered a problem and needs to close" and it just wouldn't open! so i tried installing the new itunes and it stil gave the same message! ive done a system update on a date when it did work..and still nothing happened!!!

hi i have been having the same problem with the same error message, when itunes trys to open and i have tried msconfig, allowing it in my firewall, uninstalling and reinstalling, and restoring my computer, virus scanning, ensuring that windows is up to date, and nothing has worked.
itunes and qttask are not open in the task manager!!!

I sent the error report and got told that apple haven't come up with a solution for the problem ..... *how helpful*
when uninstalling itunes i have just realised that it was not also uninstalling quicktime, so i tried to uninstall quicktime and got the fllowing message

New Printer HP2540/301 Acer Aspire 1 laptop has no disk drive and an idiot user. PLEASE HELP....

I bought myself a nice new 5240 all in one 301 printer on Wednesday.
Since then i have done nothing but fight with it ever since.
My laptop is an Acer Aspire one, one of the smaller ones, which unfortunately doesnt have a disk drive in it. My first thought went to downloading drivers. The web page didnt work and i realised then, that without the user manual (which i suspect is on the disk) i am totally lost.
So could someone please help me.
I have done a print out, which says.
Check your HP printer network name (SSID) matches your wireless router network name (SSID) exactly.
If they do not match exactly, run the wireless set up from the printer software to configure your HP printer.
I am assuming this is the software on the disk. Is there a way of downloading the software from online?
Any help would be gratefully accepted as i have no clue what i am doing atm. I am only just starting to learn how to use Windows 8 properly atm, up until now my whole computer skills hass been how to open a browser and office.

I am on a job application wedsite powered by SuccessFactors. I have completed the application but cannot get back down to the bottom of the page for me to save and send the apllication. Please help. It took a long time to complete.

I have been to the bottom of the application site where you can hit either save and return later or apply. but now it stops before the end of the application and won't let me move any further down the webpage.

Uploaded my site, Safari it works 100% in Fire fox the text becomes default and the interactive sections are laid wide open and frozen, the slideshow not there with overprint of four headings?

I ve created a website using adobe muse for a client, and due to his hosting company had to covert and upload site to html and use a third party ftp loader FILEZILLA. The site is www.sin-connections.com. This works fine in Safari, but not Firefox. all the interactive accordions are frozen and open, the slideshow banner at the top has disappeared and only the four headings are overlaid each other. the font has gone back to default Helvetica. It looks like any interactiveness has not been accepted, Ive been told that chromium works but not explorer as well. Ive come to the end of my ability of working this out. Can any one help me please. I ve used Adobe muse before ,for my site and had no trouble with it (www.andrew-bailey.co.uk) .

Hi Zak, thank you for your reply, firefox has javascript, and the funny thing is that whilst creating the site in Muse, that I was testing it in Safari, Firefox, Chromium, and IE and it was working fine, hence why I continued the site. It was when I moved over to a third party Web hosting company, EUKHOSTS, and that my client decided to use the linux route that possibly it went all pear shape. The ftp loader on the muse failed to work despite technicians saying there would be no problems, I then had to create http pages and file them in the same folder and use FileZilla to download the site. on Safari the http index page works 100% alongside all the other pages whereas the FIREFOX page has the problem explained to you.
My own site was done using MUSE and I had no problem with it, it works using all kinds of browsers. Not being technically minded I thought Adobe muse would bypass a lot of the technical fiddly work - that you guys seem to be great at !

When I print a Word document to a shared printer, print preview looks fine but the printed page has too much blank space at the top and doesn't print the bottom few lines.

When I print a Word for Mac document to a shared printer (that is connected to my iMac) from my Macbook Pro, print preview looks fine but the printed page has too much blank space at the top and doesn't print the bottom few lines. I have tried to adjust the margins and the page setup settings but to no avail. It used to print fine until recently. Is there a way to fix it so that the printer prints what print preview shows?

I should add that when I e-mail this document to myself and print it directky from the iMac, it prints fine.

MBP has become very slow and unresponsive

MBP has become very slow and unresponsive even when I'm typing. When playing media it skips to the point that I can not listen to ANY of my music files with out it pausing every few seconds. The movies freeze and skip as well. I've ran the disk veryfication, started in safe mode and even deleted the catches. Now Im lost and dont know what els I can do. Help anyone??

LONG LIVE ARCH~!!!!! Hek yeah I enjoy, especially since I was a major power user of XP & strictly XP. There was everything I ever needed. The only thing was that, if there was an Open-Source alternative, I would take it. I didn't know much about Linux other than that it ran EXTREMELY well as a server just as FreeBSD does. Once I finally took the time to google Linux, read about ditributions,open source and read blogs and read community comments etc.. I was like" I gotta be apart of this~!!" because XP was the shizz. But now Linux, more specifically, ARCH~!!!!!
