My firefox browser no longer closes, minimizes, or restore up or down the window, all of them are grayed out
Whenever I have Firefox browser window open, and then select to open a private browsing window, the open Firefox browser red X close button grays out and does not close, minimize, or restore up or down. This happens to both the regular Firefox browser window and the private browsing window.
Sometimes, this occurs when only the regular Firefox browser is open and not any private browsing windows.

In order to better investigate this issue, can you please try the following:

If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.

Another thing to try - Turn the iPad Off & then back ON.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.

My mac no longer will play videos in itv player yet the windows laptop plays them no problem
I've been watching ITV Player for months on my MAC and now, all of a sudden, all i'm getting when i try to play a programme is the black screen with the 'loading' circle that remains on until i close the window.
Out of curiosity, i switched on my old Microsoft laptop to try it and it works perfectly!!!???Which web browser are you using - Safari? You could try Google Chrome which has Flash built-in.
Another thought, and I don't know whether this applies, but does ITV Player need Microsoft Silverlight to work, perhaps? Check your Applications or Utilities to see if it is installed and whether it needs updating.
It's been a while since I've used any of the UK catch-up services, but I seem to rembember one of the channels needed Silverlight installed. If you have an out-of-date version it's possbile that OS X could block that. -

I am having a problem with the FireFox browser. I have attached two files that best describe the problem. I have labeled them A & B. A is the way it should look and B is what happens after I have I opened several tabs. I can get it back to normal if I click on VIEW than click on customize. When the customize window appears FireFox returns to its normal state. I than click on the done box and go back to what I have been doing. I tried resetting FireFox back to default settings, but that did not correct the problem.

Since I updated my 4S iphone to the latest iOS7 version, I can no longer close any of my apps. As a result, all my apps remain open on my phone. Even powering down and restarting does not solve the problem. Specifically, when I double-click the start button, my open app icons display. But when I hold my finger on an icon, the apps do not wiggle and display an "x" to close. Any advice... thanks?!
Double tap the Home button, then swop upwards on the App Preview (not the App Icon). Tap the Home button again when done to return to normal screen.

hello, normally such issues are caused by a firewall/security software which doesn't recognize & therefore blocks new firefox versions. please remove all program rules for firefox from your firewall and let it detect the new version of the browser again.

I want to eliminate an autofill choice that pops up when I sign into yahoo using the Firefox browser. I tried yahoo help which said hover over the unwanted line and press delete, but that did not work. Do you know how I can get rid of this autofill? I am using a Mac if that makes a difference. Why do the back/forward arrows no longer work - they are grayed out?
When I start a new Firefox window or tab the back/forward arrows do not work and are grayed out. I can get previous sites by right click. I also get an orange "Firefox" dropdown tab in the upper left corner. It appears as though I have a Firefox window on top of a regular window.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I used Firefox yesterday morning and it worked fine. I went back to my computer yesterday afternoon and Firefox wouldn't open. I've tried everything. I even updated Firefox. But it still won't open. But when I try to open Firefox again, I get this error message: Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system. But I can't find any way to close Firefox. Twice, I've tried removing and reloading Firefox, but it's still happening. Any ideas how to deal with this?

While downloading with Mozilla Firefox if by any means my computer crashes or shutdown unexpectedly I lose all data that had been downloaded so far. How to recover the downloaded data without a need to start all the way back from scratch to download the same data. Please help me if there are any means to recover downloaded mbs and continue from where it has stopped, so that I can avoid losing extra mbs and time to go back again and restart downloading.
Try these steps:
# Move the old .part partial download and the final file without the .part that has size 0 to another location.
# Start a new download and pause it, don't close Firefox.
# Copy the two files (.part and 0 byte final) that you moved above back to the download location to replace the new files that were created.
# Resume the download in Firefox.
If that doesn't work then the server may not support resuming.
