My firefox does not browse while IE works and i tried all suggested answers but yet it is not browsing

hello hdarwish, normally such connection issues are caused by a firewall/security software which doesn't recognize & therefore blocks new firefox versions. please remove all program rules for firefox from your firewall and let it detect the new version of the browser again.

Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!

Due to a bad install of Mavericks, my macbook was just on a loop. I correctly formatted a new external drive and installed Yosemite there and was able to retrieve my files onto the external drive. So for a while I was able to run my mac from the os on the external drive and it was fine. I built up enough courage to clear the internal hard drive. or so i thought. It will no longer recognize my admin password and I can't gain access through my Apple store and iCloud password so I have effectively been locked out. i have tried all suggested ways to deal with that. I can't seem to install the os from my external drive on to the macbook internal drive. My dvd/cd player hasn't worked for a long time so I can't install a snow leopard disc and upgrade from there. I really need help here. thanks
Tried this just now, but it didn't work. I copied it to my internal drive, but if I then selected that file and told it to open in iTunes, it played the one on my external drive.
However, it was possible to play the copied movie in QuickTime Player. I wonder, though, would that approach work with a rented movie? The movie I was using was one I bought from iTunes. -

A new phone has a warranty. So take it to an Apple store. If they can't fix it, they will replace the phone. Or do you mean: it stopped working after 9 days, but then you waited until the warranty ran out and then ask us?

Status line says "Done" but page is blank. Refreshing does not help. This has happened randomly with several other sites but no dicernable pattern.

Firefox does not run smooth while loading websites.
Firefox does not work smoothly when it is loading any webpage. Specially, when I open new tabs and load new websites while it is still loading last website in other tab, the situation becomes worse. Main problems that occur are - page will not scroll, or scrolling hangs for a sec or so, works a little bit and it happens repeatedly, new tabs will open but not smoothly, website loading also gets affected in similar way. The dot that revolves on tabs while loading any webpage gets really annoying. It revolves intermittently. Imagine a car engine not starting, it starts, stops, starts, stops. That's what happens with Firefox. But once all webpages are completely loaded and scrolled 2 or 3 times from top to bottom of the page, then it is all good. All the problems occur when page is still loading in fore- or background in any or all of the tabs. I tried to run Firefox with all add-on and plugins disabled, tried to refresh Firefox from troubleshoot information. But nothing helps. I even uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. I guess my laptop is not having memory issues. I am using Windows 7 x64 based system. RAM is 4 GB. All other software work well. Most importantly, Chrome has no such issues in comparison to Firefox. Also, when IDM (internet download manager) takes over some downloads, the Firefox hangs for few seconds. Please help.

Firefox does not open after clicking on the Firefox icon on my desktop. Occasionally it opens after a very long time and that also a number of pages open at the same time equal to the number of times hat I clicked the icon trying to open. I have had the problem of Yahoo! mail freezing (my computer freezing) with Firefox right after I boot up my computer and sign into my Yahoo! mail account. I have to either shut down my computer or use Control + Alt and press Delete to eventually bring up the Task Manager option. Then, once the choice for Task Manager comes up, I can click on cancel and Yahoo! mail and my computer have "un-frozen." I have followed all the recommendations for updating Firefox, clearing caches, checking if an Add-On is the problem, etc., as well as all the recommendations on Yahoo! help pages. Nothing has improved the situation to date. Firefox info says the problem is with Yahoo! Yahoo! says it is a browser problem. I just want the problem to be fixed. -
I do not know what happened, all of a sudden Firefox does not want to work anymore. Had been conected to audible. Retried about 4 times.... no luck had to force quit every time. The three Firefox app. into garbage, emptied garbage and redownloaded new version from Firefox. Reinstalled but same thing happened again... no connection.
What can I do, I like Firefox better than Safari, had it for years on my Mac.

I think it might be the problem with one of your plugins.
Try to uninstall the webbrowser AND remove the storage from Firefox in your user-account (Linux: /home/username/.mozilla). You can check the list of installed Add-Ons in Firefox under "Extras => Add-ons" or by pressing Shift + Strg + A (Linux). -

Solution update: Disabled XULRunner 1.9.1 extension from Add-ons > Extensions. Problem solved.
