My firefox does not have the awesome bar.... how do I get the awesome bar?
I am using Windows 8 and Firefox 19.0.1....I do not have the awesome bar at the top of the screen....Are there any suggestions for restoring this feature?

This is so lame it feels like MS Windows. From a simple one step process it now requires first to duplicate, then ito browse back to the folder you were working in and then finally to type in a new mame. Why not just leave save as?????? This is getting so very anoying ...... just like windows with its never ending quetsions. Apple please bring back Save as.

I lost my iTunes library on my pc when the hard drive crashed. None of the data on the drive was recoverable and I did not have a backup either locally or on the cloud. Much of the music is from old vinyl and podcasts which are no longer available.
How can I get the music that resides on my ipod nano (4th generation) back onto the new hard drive on my pc.
I have been reluctant to install iTunes on the new hard drive out of fear that I will lose all the contents on the ipod if I try to synch to the new hard drive.
Help!No backup is a huge mistake.

Another issue related with this is that during the time that I tried out Mobile me, I had my ical alarm set to go off every 2 hours. NOW my computer has an ical pop-up every 2 hours. I cannot find how to stop it.
Another issue, Yahoo is trying to sync with my computer and I have no idea why or where that one came from.

Deleted App on my iPad 1. Tried to reinstall - but app has been updated and only works on iOS6 now.
Have gone to app store and looked under "purchased", again only the updated app is available which doesn't work on my device.

ThanksThe only possible way that you could get it back is if the app is still in your iTunes library. If you don't sync with iTunes and it is not in your iTunes library, unfortunately, your version of the app is gone now.

I think you may mean the search box on the toolbar. In Safari click on the View menu and select Show Toolbar.
Alternatively, if you mean the 'Home Page' then open Safari -> Preferences -> General and next to 'Homepage' put in the address of the page you want - I'm guessing "http://www.google.com/". -

First things first: you bought this iPhone second-hand from someone you know. That person must have used his iTunes account to activate the phone. Have you tried connecting your iPhone to your computer (Mac or PC, doesn't matter) via USB and have it recognized by iTunes on your computer? If not, you'll have to activate the iPhone first. iTunes will do that for you, provided the former user has notified Apple he has sold his iPhone to you. Then, there's the question of your mobile phone provider: iPhones are network-locked. You can't buy an iPhone from someone who's, say, an Orange customer, then use it on another network than Orange's (in the US, of course, that point is moot). Only way to unlock your phone is to jailbreak it, but it's risky, and frankly, I don't think you'll find a lot of info on this forum on the subject... Firefox does not activate Gmail when I click send link in the menu under File or by right click menu on a webpage. I have set Gmail as the Mail to under options, but this did not help.
I have the same problem but it appears that an add-on I'm using is causing the problem. Try opening Firefox in safe mode (which disables add-ons) Then try it. If that solves the problem, you need to disable all your add ons and enable them one by one to figure out which one(s) is causing the problem.

OK; have been trying to setup a test VM based RDS deployment for a few days now with no luck.
this error mentioned above:
"Server <server name> either does not have a virtual switch configured or none of the configured virtual switches have an IP address assigned" error is driving me nuts!
I have removed and re-added the RD Virtualization Host role numerous times, each time having the "create a virtual switch" checkbox selected, but it did NOT create any virtual switch.
I created the external virtual switch manually and tried to create the desktop collection again, no luck with the same error.
a few questions:
1. you don't assign IP to a switch! you assign IP to Network Interfaces. why does the error puts it like this?! it is technically wrong.(yeah yeah I know all about how you'd assign IP to managed switches in real world to telnet into them and manage them.
you know better than me that it is not the case here!)
2.the RDS Virtualization hosts are using their wifi card as the card for the virtual switch. could that be the reason? I even disabled their unplugged wired NIC just to make sure that the wifi is the only available option for the RDS wizard to use for the
virtual switch creation; but it didn't use it and it didn't create any virtual switch automatically.
3.if WIFI nic is indeed the reason, is it your suspension or an official documents is there somewhere stating so (that the WIFI NICS on a Virtualization hosts are not supported as the hub for a virtual switch).
4.what are the properties of the virtual switch the RDS requires? does it have to be external? why can't it work even with my manually created external switch?
5.how would I fix it?
P.S: the environment is made up of 2 laptops, having windows 2012 R2 trial installed on them, using their wifi to connect to the out world. no cable is plugged into their wired NIC card.Hi,

The simplest short term solution was to connect each computer to a small switch that had no other connectivity. This brought up the link light on the external NIC and allowed the creation of the collection to complete. You need to use an external switch. You
can create one external switch which might fix the problem.
