My Firefox extention for Norton just updated to Firefox7.0.1, and ever since I get a warning from Norton to not log on to Facebook,even though it's the same website I've always used for Facebook. Can you help with this?
The extension Firefox for Norton Toolbar 2011.7.2.3 was just updated to be compatible with Firefox 7.0.1, and it now warns me not to log on to my Facebook account, that it's a fraudulent website, even though it's the same web-site I've always used to log on to Facebook.
Can you help me with this issue?

It's very likely that the phone is permanently damaged - water corrodes the very fine copper strips which form the circuitry very quickly - but only a service engineer can tell you what its condition is and whether it can be restored to health. If possible take it to an Apple Store (make an appointment) for a free assessment. Don't be surprised if you are told you will have to replace it.

I´m trying to open an excel file in numbers not being successful. The error msg is unexpectedly error using plugin SFCompatibility can you help me? Already changed the extension of the excel document to xlsx an now gives an unknown import error.
In Excel have you tried saving directly to xls (not xlsx) and opening the xls in Numbers?
If you have a complicated workbook in Excel that uses lots of Excel's advanced features, Numbers may not be able to handle the import. It does pretty well on basic things, though.
If you're just trying to get data into Numbers, then often copy-paste from Excel is easier than trying to open xls files.

The last update was 9.0.3 - check by loading the editor and going to Help -> About Photoshop Elements
The last supported Camera raw is ACR 6.5 - check by loading the editor and going to Help -> About Plug-ins -> Camera Raw

I start with the home page of a site. Then go to one of the other pages on the same site. I find no way to return to the home page without going completely out of firefox and having to start all over again. In other words the "back" arrow is gray and does not work to get me back to the original home page. Can you help with this?
Try double clicking on the Back arrow. If you click on it and hold it pressed, it should give you a drop down list of the previous pages. You can also achieve that by right click on the Back arrow. But if you do a single, quick click on it, it should take you back.

I subscribed to iTunes Match, but after the information is gathered about my iTunes library, i get an error message : "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (4001). Try again later."
Can you help fix this error?Yesterday I went to settings in my iPhone, Music, turned iTunes Match to "Off". I then updated Match in iTunes and it worked! I don't know why, but it worked.

Since upgrading my Mac book pro with Yosemite, I have problems with my Xerox Work Centre 3045 printer. The printer works normally but it does not recognise scanner, I can not scan anything. Can you help?
Open Disk Utility and select your hard drive, then Repair Permissions, it will probably return a very large number of errors, primarily printer and library errors, so run it a second time. Then restart the MacBook Pro. If it still will not scan, try using Image Capture from Finder > Applications and see if that will work. If not, contact Xerox about updated drivers.

I have the Windows Installer Clean-Up screen up and tried to upload a screen cap for you, but IE immediately shuts down every time I try. So I'll have to transcribe the screen for you:

Problem saving pdf in adobe reader 8
I have a problem saving pdf file in adobe reader version 8. In Adobe acrobat version 8 when i clicked on save button nothing happens not even a blink or page refresh. But everything worked fine when I tried with different adobe version. i.e version 6,7,9.
I have no idea whether the problem is with adobe version which im using or with website which sends tht PDF.
I appresiate your suggestions and support.

I can't help you, but I'm having the same problem with version 9.4.1
I have been trying to "save as" some .pdf documents (monthly statements) from a financial institution, but it does not work when I right click on the file, or when I right click on the document. Like you, I click on the "disc" icon, and nothing happens. I was able to save these in August and prior, but not now. It makes no sense.
When I open these documents, they appear in a web window, not in the Reader software, so there is no tool bar showing "file", "edit", "view", etc, like what appearsw in Acrobat. I'm stumped. I posted this several days before you, but no replies yet. I'm not real eager to pay $39 for the adobe help desk just yet.Have you searched your drive to see i they are indeed being saved somewhere?
Also, if you right-click the link to the PDF and choose to save (instead of opeing in the browser), what happens? -

If you are using multiple Apple IDs, there are limits on how often a device can change associations for things like downloading purchases (which is slightly different from authorization for things like playback). You may find the following article helpful:

Dear community, please can you help with this?
I recently upgraded from snow leopard to mountain lion (why these names???), The only reason being is icloud wiped mobileme albums and other goodies.
I am really not a big fan of apple at the moment as they make changes that don't allow you a choice having grown used to and enjoyed the system you've been using all along. The problems I'm having is
1. My notes were completey wiped and mail has no note option any more?
2. The search in mail is totaaly useless to me, the old version was superb, now if I copy and paste and email address in to the search window it comes up with some or none of what I know is on my computer, I have ticked search ALL and entire message, no joy.
3. My computer sends calendar, mail etc...updates to my iphone but not vice versa?
4.Spaces has disappeared, I believe replaced by mission control, I used spaces and it was brilliant, am I missing something?
Can I go back to my old favourite snow leopard.
I'm thinking why are you not allowed to cherry pick when upgarding, ie, keep the good bits of the old and just add the new, like a pick and mix?

Notes and ToDos have their own applications and are not part of the email client.
2. If it is not showing all email searches, try reindexing Spotlight. Go to the Spotlight preferences and add your Hard drive to the Privacy pane. Wait a few moments, then remove it. It should start indexing.
3. Not sure about which one, but I would take one off of iCloud, then re-enable it.
4. Yes. It is now Mission Control. There are a few settings in the Mission Control preferences that may help, but the old Spaces thing is gone. You might like to turn off automatically rearrange spaces and turn off group windows by application.
Yes. you can go back to Snow Leopard. Just completely erase your drive and restore from the backup you made prior to installing Mountain Lion. -

I just put a few old music projects from my USB key on to my computer, then opened them into Logic pro 8 which has been working fine and dandy recently. as soon as i did this a problem occurred.
I have subsequently deleted those projects but the projects that have been ok for ages now seem to have a problem. when ever I try and do anything within Logic a warning comes up saying:
*Logic Pro has detected a possible conflict between one or more third party MIDI or audio drivers.*
Be sure to install the latest drivers for all audio and MIDI equipment connected to your computer, and remove any older or unused........
How do i do this? and why do you think this has started coming up whever i try and do anything within logic?Do a Google search on the exact error message. Others have had this problem and you might find a solution.
