My Firefox history has disappeared and I need help trying to restore it. Please help!

CCleaner, out of no where, decided to delete most of my Firefox history the last time I used it. There's a tiny part of my browser history that's still there, but most of it's gone. If someone can PLEASE help me, you have no idea how grateful I would be.

Firefox doesn't keep backup copies of the history like is done with the bookmarks, so if you didn't create such a backup yourself then you are probably out of luck.
I don't know if Windows keeps previous (shadow) copies of the places.sqlite file.

My firefox toolbar has disappeared and a stupid Yahoo one is there now

I went on Firefox tonight and my toolbar has disappeared and been replaced by a Yahoo one. There are no icons at the top, no Firefox icon, and my bookmarks are gone. I didn't do anything! Help!

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F). 
If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear. 
You can click the Maximize button at the top right to leave full screen mode or right click empty space on a toolbar and use "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press F11.
If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key to make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"

My vertical column of bookmarks down the left side of my screen has disappeared and I need to find a way to get it back in the same place.

This is purely a lay-out issue. We used to be able to choose to permanently display our bookmarks vertically down the left side of the screen, and I want to continue to be able to do so. My bookmarks are not lost; I know they are in my library. But the system doesn't seems to allow me to leave them on permanently down the left side. Please help. I have Windows 7 64-bit and the latest version ofFirefox.

My old original i-pad has died and is no longer re-chargable either. Please help.

My I-Pad has died. Will no longer accept a charge and the screen is blank. It was working fine until recently. It seems as though when I updated my i-phone 4S, my I-pad no longer working. Odd? Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

In rare instances when using the Camera Connection Kit, you may notice that iPad does not charge after using the Camera Connection Kit. Disconnecting and reconnecting the iPad from the charger will resolve this issue.

Language of some of my icons has changed and I can't seem to reverse it, please help!

A friend of mine was messing around with my laptop and managed to change the language to what I believe to be Russian. I changed the language under the 'International' tab back to English, but for some reason some of my icons (e.g. system preferences, software update and language menu) are still written in whatever language this is. I've fiddled about with the settings in the 'International' tab for hours but with no success and I can't find a solution anywhere. Please help!

Did you do logout/login after moving English to the top of the list?
Also you could try going to system prefs/international/language and using the Edit button to uncheck the box for Russian.

I clicked the full screen choice on the firefox drop down menu and now the firefox icon has disappeared. How do I get it back?

I used the pull down menu on the firefox icon on the left hand upper corner to create a full a screen. Once the full screen was created the icon disappeared and I cannot go back to regular screen. HELP.

The icon for Norton Identity Safe has disappeared and I can't figure out how to get it back on my toolbar.

I use Norton which has a feature called "Identity Safe." In the old version of Mozilla, the icon for this feature was available on my toolbar. Now that I have converted to the latest version of Firefox, the icon has disappeared and I cannot figure out to get it back. I can still activate the Identity Safe by opening Norton, but I want to restore the shortcut.

Symantec have made an update for their add-ons to work in Firefox 4, but they only listed them as compatible with Firefox 4.0, they need to update them to let them work in Firefox 4.0.1, they have indicated this will be happening soon. Try quitting Safari completely and then reboot your iPad.
Tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button twice.

I have installed bearshare and now when I open firefox, my homepage disappears and the my google search engine is now bearshare which I don't want.

I installed bearshare as my program for downloading music, but after installation, my homepage has disappeared and my google search engine has changed to bear share.

Was on the phone a few days ago and was hot so come off and now the screen is black and i cant see anything. Try and do a hard reset by holding down the home button and the sleep/wake button and then turning it back on

HP Sprinter show error while running new rest as "An error has occured and Sprintet needs to close."

Hi All,
I have installed and prepared one Data Injection scenario and then have Run the test couple of times and then closed Sprinter. Then I create another Data Inject test and "DataInjextExample.xls" and have added it in "Add Data Set".
When i execute this new Data Inject Test, it shows me error with referance to a data field ('Full name of first or sole applicant") from earlier Test's Excel data sheet where as I have alreadty removed DataSet referance from the "Add Data Set".
Error message:
An error has occured and Sprintet needs to close. " type does not have property named 'Full name of first or sole applicant", so cannot dort data collection.
Please see the following error and help me with possible solution.

Hi, Once you launch Sprinter, make sure the Sprinter Agent is running.
Now go to the Notification area and uncheck the option which says "Start Sprinter Agent when Computer Starts"
Click on Reset.
Restart the computer and start working on HP Sprinter.
Please let me know if this worked.

You can only sync with one computer/iTunes library. If you sync with another iTunes library/computer the media from the iPod will be deleted and replaced with the media on the second computer.
If you want to change syncing computers then:

...if you're running Mountain Lion. I'm in clamshell mode right now, so I don't have any mirroring options. AFAIK, there's no more "Show displays in menu bar" in Mountain Lion.
