My firefox keeps giving me the error page on every web site but my internet exploer is working just fine
i have googled why fire fox keeps giving the error can not establish a connection and nothing i have found works i have unistalled it and added it back i have checked the proxy i have check the fire wall and nothing works but internet explorer works fine please help or i will have to delete it for good
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

My iPod touch 4th gen. Keeps giving me the error message "cannot connect to the app store when I sign in. I can open the app store and browse it but I can't download anything. I have full signal strength with my wi-fi and safari is working perfect. I turned it off and restarted it 3 times now. I have an iPad 2 and the app store works flawlessly with it. What is going on?
Same here on my lpad2. Can access the web just fine from browsers but cannot install new apps or updates in appl store. Seeing a few others reporting same issue tonight so likely an apple server issue and staff will notice it in network monitors and fix it...sometime this weekend.

App world keeps giving me the error message
I have a blackberry Q10 and everytime I try and download something from the app world it keeps giving me the error message of ' an error has occured. Please try again later' this started happening when I upgraded my app world.

With a strong carrier network signal (e.g., not merely WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (step 1 should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT
KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive
2) Reboot
Pre-BB10 Devices ONLY. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.
BB10 Devices. Hold the top button down until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the device to be fully shut down (e.g., nothing at all displayed on the screen, no LED lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red LED is lit. Wait through the full boot-up process. IF this fails, you can attempt the battery-pull method above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.
See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support. Also check your BB10 OS level to be sure it also is up to date.

I can not work out how to set Firefox to automatically load the latest version of a web site. I have web sites in my bookmarks and it does not look on the internet for the latest version and furthermore using F5 does not work . I need to be able to find a way to have it auto set to look for the latest version live on the internet.

I lifted the lid on the printer, resulting in the red light to the right of the zoom-in button to start flashing. Right now, the view scree is blank. The printer usually asks me to power off the printer. I do, then it goes back to the error code and I have to start all over again. My printer is a dead paperweight right now. What do I do? When you unplug the charger, does the date and time change in the menu bar to a default value?
That to me suggests that the battery is the problem. However you could run an Apple Hardware Test to see if other issues are picked up:

Unfortunately a test with an error free result is not always 100% reliable.

How can I return to a previous version that did not have problem? On Safari on my lap top Mac, I do not have this problem. We tried this on another Windows computer with a 3.5 or 3.6 Firefox version and there was no problem.
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site. Note: this is likely to log you out, so finish up whatever you are working on first.
1. Clear Firefox's Cache
orange Firefox button ''or'' Tools menu > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Offline Storage : "Clear Now"
2. If needed, delete the site's cookies here
While viewing a page on the site, right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?
Some sites appear to be incompatible with Firefox 5. The difficulty is tracking down the problem. To see whether it is caused by the new stricter HTML parser in Firefox 4+, you can turn that off. Please save any unfinished work first.
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the filter box, type or paste '''html5''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click '''html5.parser.enable''' to toggle it to false (it should turn bold).
Then return to the problem page, reload and try again. Does that make any difference?
Here's the process to roll back if needed:
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
Close Firefox 5.
You could install Firefox 3.6 over it (many have reported success) or you could uninstall Firefox first. If you uninstall, do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, Firefox 3.6 should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details. -
Moving to the 2nd page on a web site and it turns white or black
This just seems to happen on loan sites, after I fill in the filed on the web sites first page. going to the second page the only thing that comes up is either a white page with nothing on it, or a charcoal black page with a link saying something about credit cards but on way to get there. This has happened at least 29 times.

I am able to open and use 3.6.8 but it wont over write the 2.0.0.14 version.

3. Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install.
4. Install the new version that you have downloaded.
Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder], so you won't lose your bookmarks or other personal data.
